Im working on the Black Marsh mods and these will help so much https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19027 -
Ok, odd problem this. Every time an NPC decapitates me, Skyrim CTDs. I've never experienced this with any of the characters I've used in the past, nor any mod combinations. Has anyone got any idea what might cause this? As I understand it, when an NPC or PC is decapitated, a kind of decap "item" texture is equipped, which makes the head invisible, similar to wearing some helmets which disable the head. Is it possible that is missing from my game, causing the CTD? Or is Skyrim now using some kind of forced censorship??? NSA???

I thought that posting this would not be necessary, but this is getting me nuts! I have 7 different ways that Skyrim could not let me play, here they are: 1.- Mod Organizer, double click, nothing happens. 2.- MO, loading logo stands still and I have to end process with task manager. 3.- MO, click run, stands in loading "unlock" button and have to end process. 4.- SKSE stands still and never dissapears the cmd screen and the game does not open so I have to close SKSE and do everything again. 5.- After SKSE a message can appear saying that did aplication did not load, so I have to restart Steam. 6.- The game freezes in the main menu, and I have to close it. 7.- Sometimes after closing the game that way Steam closes too and after going through the 4 first problems I sometimes end up with the Steam update window, and have to go through the process again. Why... just... why? I sometimes can't play the game after 30 minutes trying!!! Because I encounter any of these problems!!!

I'm having problems with modding my game. I'll say my problems. I can't seem to get it to load when I start-up my game. I have NOMM, and have gotten a few to work. It's re-textures or new weapons that wont load when I get them set-up. Am I doing it right? It's simply copy and paste; Moving the "Textures and Meshes" Folders and the .Esp to the /Data (just Data for me). I look around and try to find the weapon I've downloaded to no avail. I tried to put a Shotgun in my game, and needed an alternative rifle animation for it to work, okay, so I go and download the animations and set the folders in, then get the Shotgun and do the same. The .Esp shows up but it wont load in game; Nada, Zilch. I just don't get it. I'm quite frustrated with it and want some help.

So i've spent the last two days on and off installing mods moving down the list from the ULTIMATE thing which is basically a mod list that has been tested and meant to build the best New Vegas. I closed mod manager because one of my mods was just stuck on queued for no reason and when i re-opened it said I needed to assign new file paths for where to store the mods and data or something along those lines. Problem is, i'm not entirely sure where that is or what to do. I was pretty sure I found the right folders but now half the mods are gone and they all say unassigned and uninstalled. I really don't want to have to reinstall and start from scratch because i literally did that two days ago and it was a pain. So yeah, any help you can give me to get the right folder and get all the mods recognized as installed etc again would be amazing.

So, I'm going throughout my normal skyrim things, and installed a new playerhome off the nexus. I run FNIS for users for good measure, and launch skyrim, make a new game, and OF COURSE, everybody's T-Posed. All of my vanilla races are T-Posed. Can anyone help? Will give specifics if requested.

I also posted this on BG3 Reddit, but thought that placing it here also might increase my chances of getting help with this. On last Tuesday, I thought well even though I still have a Patch 7 character, I want to see how good Patch 8 is and, so I updated the game by setting steam back to online mode, and I then let BG3 update to Patch 8. After that I was busy for two days searching, downloading and installing every update for mods I wanted to continue using. Plus a few new ones I saw and wanted to try. All good and well, but after CC I go to the tutorial chest, (I use tutorial exit.) to already get a few items. Only to see that there was practically nothing in the chest. There were items from a weapon mod that had no update so far, and nothing from other mods that add stuff to the tutorial chest. Normally in my game there are 3000 to 3500 items in my tutorial chest when I summon it, now there were maybe 370 items in it? * So I summoned the tutorial chest with the mod "Tutorial Chest Summoning" (Which has not been updated yet, I will admit that.) but it also had only around 370 items in it. * I then uninstalled "Tutorial chest Summoning" mod with BG3MM, deleted the save games, and then installed Immersive Tutorial Chest Spawning and more. (Which has been updated for Patch 8.) But again it only showed around 370 items in total. * I then removed Immersive Tutorial Chest Spawning and more mod, rebuild the modsettings.lsx as I always do when I remove or install a new mod. Deleted the save games, started a new game, and again it only showed around 370 items in total? * And then I thought, maybe it is AV Item Shipment Framework (AV ISF) mod that causes it, because the mailbox from that mod always has everything added by mods in it. (Not this time.) But according to posts on it's Nexusmod mod page works with Patch 8 without an update. * Then I thought, maybe it is the combination of a tutorial chest summoning mod and the mod "Ancient Mega Pack + REL (random loot)" from Mod.io. So I uninstalled those two mods, exported to game, deleted save games and started a new game. But again it only showed around 370 items in total. * I tried placing the tutorial chest summoning mod lower in the load order, but it did nothing as far as I could see. (Although I was at that time already frustrated, so who knows.) In the end I got so frustrated at it that I used my Backup Program, to go back to an image from Monday so that I have Patch 7 back, and steam is in offline mode. (For now.) But while all this was happening when I was in the beginning area of the Nautiloid I had already noticed that the game loads a lot faster in my opinion? Also, I do use the mod EasyCheat from Nexusmods, so some stuff I might be able to get using that mod, but then I would have to remember the names of all 3000 to 3500 items. And that is a bit too much. Has any one else had problems like this, and if so, did you find a solution? Also, please do not post I should make a support ticket, because you get no answer back, (Which I understand, do not get me wrong.) And in the past I tried the Larian forums once or twice, but absolutely no one reacted, so I doubt I would get a reaction now. (Besides, I would have to re-register.) * Also, one person who already reacted on Reddit mentioned this ... I have never used any mods but I have read here and elsewhere that mods and patch 8 are not compatible at the moment. Even though quite a lot of mods have been updated for patch 8, could that be true indeed?
