  1. The title basically say it all. There are certain immersion mods that cause you to go through an animation while looting or doing other things such as Immersive Interactions. However, these animations can be bypassed and you would loot as per normal if you are currently in combat mode. Kind of kills the immersion that you got the mod for in the first place. The idea behind this mod idea is that you would be forced to be unarmed before you could do things such as looting or lockpicking or just any action that requires the interaction with an inanimate object, meaning you can still talk to people while armed. That interaction type should be left alone. What about opening doors? I don't know if this could be scripted or not, but something that says if your right hand is available you may open doors, or maybe have it unequip your right hand on first click, then second click the door opening animation occurs and/or you enter the next zone if it's a transition door, then the weapon previously in that hand auto re-equips. Also, maybe for certain doors like temple doors, you could have an animation where you kick the door in instead of disarming a hand. That could be interesting. Have it play to the noise factor as well and wake any nearby sleeping draugr/unaware bandits. However, for temple doors opening quietly, it may be better you just enequip and maybe a new animation that is a 2 handed push on the double doors would be immersive. I always thought shouldn't these doors be heavy? They certainly look heavy. Lockpicking takes two hands so forcing unequip would be necessary much like flipping large levers or some of the other 2 handed animations for interactions. Even for mods such as PC head tracking and interactions mod where you hug your friends sometimes. Are you going to hug friends with a fire spell and a sword in your hands? I mean, maybe... but doesn't seem very safe to me. Gonna cut someone's ear off. Inigo would not be pleased.

The game allows you to romance multiple companions, so it doesn't make sense to me why some companions don't like you flirting with other companions in their presence, or expanding your relationship. I know jealousy is still a thing in real polyamorous and/or open relationships, but this doesn't seem to be a direct-enough way of representing that for that to be an intentional design choice. I would like to see flirting and romancing other companions (and characters like Magnolia) be made neutral affinity actions rather than negative affinity ones across all romanceable companions. I would also like to see some changes to how companions interact with each other. Just as an example, Piper reacts negatively to Cait's "threesome" line. But if you're romancing both of them, and considering that both of them can date a Sole Survivor of any gender, I'd personally expect Piper to be open to the idea, or at least less snarky in turning it down. I'm sure there are more interactions like this. Replacing some of the dialogue and facial expressions in these interactions with other lines of dialogue or even "hmm"s and grunts, where appropriate, should make them more reasonable for if both companions are being romanced.
  3. Note: The Topics Name is not the Actual mods name but I don't feel that I should create a brand new Topic just to show that. Player Interaction < Actual Mod Name. The aim of this mod is to enable the player to perform animations while interacting with certain objects to, I guess, be more immersive. The mod itself is fairly simple only using Scripts, Quests and Object Replacement, to allow the player to perform interactions which NPCs perform naturally however the player will be able to perform more interactions then NPCs if they wish to. Features: Animated Interactions on the following objects.Beds (Double, Single, BedRolls, Coffins(Still buggy sometimes on these but working on it.), Altars. Also includes a fix for Fused eyes, and uses the vanilla sleeping UI.)Eating (Standing and sitting)Drinking (Standing and sitting)Potion Drinking (I am however unsure on keeping this one currently.)Lock PickingCorpse SearchingIf you feel like sitting cross legged on the ground you can do that as well via a hot key, also sitting on a ledge is possible (There are no checks on this so it's entirely up to you how you use it and if you wish to sit on the ground with your legs ghosting through it that's your choice :biggrin: .)Wall Leaning (This may or may not be in the final version as I have no way of checking collisions without large and expensive scripts, however I do believe I will keep this and leave it similar to Sitting, which can be done anywhere with a hot key and leave it entirely upto you if you want to line it up with a wall or not... will look pretty funny leaning on thin air though.....har har har...anyway.)Book Reading (Both Sitting and Standing, Reading direct from Inventory is still a work in progress.)OptionsAn MCM will enable you to configure which Animated Interactions will fire and which will not.Force Sheathing Weapons will by default be on but this can be turned off/Combat Options include Never play Animations in Combat, Only Play Animations while Weapons are sheathed in combat and Always play Animations in Combat. If you have any suggestions on Interactions or have any other suggestions feel free to post them here. This is largely still a work in progress, originally I was hoping for a end of month release but that won't be the case I believe. EDIT: Discontinued Features (Maybe added later): Door ActivationPull Chains (You may notice Chains that are not where they were originally this is due to them being slightly moved to allow for the animation to line up.)Bar Pulling (Still Searching for a suitable animation, if I cannot find one I will revert to a less suitable but 'makes sense' animation.)Levers (WIP)
  4. I am not sure if someone developed this, but i saw some mods taht allows to interct (barely) with dog companions and i want to knwo if it can be possible to do so with horses? It would be like an scene in third person view where the character pets the horse. also, another pair of different petting scenes such as: - pet his mane too -Receive a hug from the horse (put in google "horse hug" for samples) -Feed them with hay or apples (or carrots) in addition, it could give a small boost to the horse (or us, better said) to be more strong (or hard to be killed) or fast for a short time while riding the horse (realistic stuff. i know convenient horses let you edit his stamina and healt base...but realistic stuff is sometimes better XD) And as an extra suggestion (i mean that this is only an extra request not needed to take in mind to make the mod if you dont want to do the extra), it could be pretty inmersive if we were able to take care of the horse actually, like to at least clean their hoofs or brush his mane. Those poor horses travelling wherever we want, even to mountains or impossible places that ends sometimes in a 'game over' (Admit it, you did it at least once. Me too) PD: of course to be made for both SLE and SSE versions so everyone can enjoy it.

  6. hey all, I've been looking for a mod that simply makes my character reach their arm out and do a generic grab when picking up items or harvesting ingredients. All the similar mods Ive found make you go in these super long-winded animations whenever you do anything that Im just really not a fan of. Sprinting through the overworld harvesting ingredients hella fast is integral to the Elder Scrolls experience to me, so I'm just looking for a mod that adds a basic animation to that action without compromising speed. Unfortunately I have zero CC or skyrim modding experience so I'm comin' here. It doesnt even have to look super good or polished literally just an arm reaching out and generically grabbing while still maintaining free movement would be perfect. Thanks for your insight ya'll <3
