To start off with, I'm not very well educated when it comes to modding skyrim so bare with me. While using nexus mod manager i installed a bunch of interesting mods, i have also installed all the required mods that some mods require to work (that i know of) when i go to launch skse using nexus mod manager the game itself loads up fine, makes it to the main screen fine, when i select either continue, New game, or load (and then whatever save file) it gives me an error saying \ RaceMenu Error(s) invalid CharGen script version Detected (2) Expected (4) Error codes (10) i have looked this error up on google and couldn't find any references to the exact same code, i found similar words but different numbers (from my understanding the words can be the same but the numbers represent different errors, which would require a different solution) for a list of the mods that i have installed: http://www.modwat.ch/u/MildsQuarry Under the Plugins tab is the mod list. if it helps the Skyrim tab is skyrim ini and the SkyrimPrefs is skyrimprefs ini any help would be very appreciated, if you need any more info then just let me know :smile:

So I tried posting this on steam forums and got 0 help so maybe you guys can do better, the problem has not changed so I'm just going to copy and paste what the text was. When I click to change the model of an object(keep in mind I am using ONLY vanilla object models, nothing new is added) it goes to the skyrim data directory but there is no .NIF files there. Even pasting the name of the original model into the file bar gives the error. I do not know what happened, I have uninstalled and reinstalled creation kit and this perstists. What SHOULD happen is something like this video: https://youtube.com/watch?v=h13b7vGVXtA#t=22m10s it is at 22:10 around when he changes the model. What DOES happen is this: http://imgur.com/vYylozN This is an example of the error I get when doing the exact same actions as the person in the video. What I think might have happened is that I mistyped the model name the first time and the file menu (instead of defaulting to the place where there are all the .NIF files) shot me back to "my documents". I am no longer able to navigate back to that original "folder" that contains the .NIF files, I believe that it is a single file "meshes.bsa". I saw a solution of unpacking meshes.bsa, but that sounds a bit ridiculous just to change the model of one vanilla item to another. I haven't tried it on a different computer but I might have to as this is really impeding my progress. Thanks for any help

So I'm having a huge issue with a mod I'm making. I thought everything was going good until I actually loaded up the mod in game to do some testing and I found that something strange had happened. So in the CK my cell looks fine as far as layout and everything, but when I went in game to test, my character was stuck inside objects. So I used tcl to fly outside of the part I was stuck in and then I discovered that all the objects I had added to my cell are converging to a single area inside the cell. So I loaded the mod back up in the CK and everything still looks good in the render window, so then I did some digging in the warnings box. I found errors for every single object I had placed that is saying they all have "Potentially Invalid Y Value on reference". I've never had this happen before and I'm not sure if I accidentally clicked something in the CK that I shouldn't have that cause this, but needless to say I don't know how to fix it. I'm really hoping there's some fix for this, otherwise I will have to start my mod all the way over Can anyone help me out? I'd much appreciate it

Let me say this first; I'm not incredibly smart when it comes to mods so be warned I might be kind of hard to communicate with but please bear with me. So, I have the RaceMenu mod and the problem is, as soon as I log into game, I get the following message: "RaceMenu Error(s): Invalid Chargen plugin version detected (4) expected (5). Invalid Chargen script version detected (2) expected (4). Error Codes: (8 )(10)" Does anyone know what this is/what it means? I use LOOT and I've gone through to see if there's anything dirty about RaceMenu. It says that the RaceMenuPlugin.esp is optional and if I seem to have errors to disable it. So, I deleted the file and I'm still getting the same exact message. I've also scanned with TES5Edit to see if there's a possible wrong load order. I use the "Lunari Race" mod and I was wondering if maybe that had anything to do with it. I'd appreciate the feedback because I don't know what it is and if it's doing something to my game. Ever since I started getting that message, I started to CTD when I tried looting, going into inventory (whether my own or to buy/sell something), and when trying to get to my quest journal. I don't know if that's something else entirely or if it's connected to this. Anyhow, I'd appreciate the help. Thank you. (If it's somehow important, I use some other mods to help out within the game that might be connected to the problem and they are; RaceCompatibility with FixesShowRaceMenu PreCacheKillerEnhanced Character EditExtended Slider Colors)

So recently, my computer crashed and I lost all of my game data, including old mods and my local saves. This past week, I re-downloaded Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition and started installing new mods. When I first started playing, the game kept telling me I could not load my old saves from the cloud because my content was not authorized. I found a fix online that told me to change all of the requiresauthorization "1" files in the addins.xml to requiresauthorization "0" and I would be able to use my DLCs. I did this and the game allowed me to load old saves, but now new mods give me this error when i try to install them: A problem occurred during install: Invalid Characters in the given code. Line 13, position 44. The mod was not installed. I tried resetting the requiresauthorization back to "1" instead of "0", hoping this would resolve the problem, but it still gives me the same error. I've attempted installing many different mods to see if the issue is just with particular types. Nothing has worked so far. Any ideas what I can do to fix this, or at least where to start? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I need help with my Morrowind to work. To prove it's a legal official copy, let me show you this: http://prntscr.com/48dwtx I ran the game as administrator, played a few minutes, and then exited the game. I installed MGE XE, which is basically the mother of all mods. The resource to allow any mods to work, and I got morrowind resolution tweaker to play at my 1440x900 native resolution. It won't load the sound. No matter what. I've tried putting it under data/sound/music , I've tried data/sound/FX and data/sound/FX/custom , I've tried having the WAV at all different frequencies available to me, I've tried different shorter and longer versions of the file, I tried reinstalling the Creation Kit! NOTHING WILL GET IT TO WORK! I ALWAYS get "File error: Invalid directory". Also, I can create normal sounds just fine, but I can't even use the sounds used for normal sounds in a music track, so something must be messed up here! Someone please help me!

When I first downloaded the API I was able to run it perfectly fine. Since then I've downloaded some mods via Nexus and when I try to run it I get an error message. It says 'The data is invalid' and nothing else besides telling me where the StardewModdingAPI.lnk is. the issue doesn't seem to depend on whether or not I have active mods. It does this regardless of whether or not I have mods active.

This is a new account because my long standing normal account no longer works. Due to poor judgement and hindsight on my part, I created a NexusMods account with an email address that is no longer valid. (Hosting server is gone and I have no access to it) During the time it was deleted, I forgot my password to my account and now I can't log in because I used my browser to remember my password. I know, double whammy. Is there a way to recover my main account? or have the email redirected/changed to a new email address? It's my account, I can provide authorized staff with all account questions and email address information. Plus I can verify username by other means as well. If it's lost, its lost and I understand... but there has to be/should be a way to recover an account name on double whammy situations like this. Thanks, Draidr
