  1. My door teleport marker is missing in the creation kit for skyrim se please help, i need this marker otherwise you can't control where you appear after opening a door.
  2. So I stopped playing Skyrim a few months back, what with work taking up more and more of my time, but I recently decided to get back into it. Problem is that I had heavily modded my Skyrim in the last few years and I don't even know what half of my installed mods are. I'm content to discover them as I go but there is one that's actually bugging me. I'm constantly seeing this notification "The Angel is charging" and I have no idea what mod is causing it. Anyone know? I would go through my mod list activating and deactivating mods until I find it but with over 300 active mods, that could be a challenge. I figure others could also post here asking for help when they can't figure out what mods they have and what each mod does.

The only error message I get is this: "WARNING -> RecordProcessor: Information lost. Record skipped due to duplicate FORMID. [MOD=(Mages Guild Quests.esp), MODID=(2D), FORMID=(00000000) TYPE=(LAND)] WARNING -> RecordProcessor: Information lost. Record skipped due to duplicate FORMID. [MOD=(Mages Guild Quests.esp), MODID=(2D), FORMID=(00000000) TYPE=(LAND)]" and it is only when I rebuild the patch. I do not believe this would be a part of the problem, but I am the author of this post: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/6758552-wrye-bash-error-code-extraction-failed-7zexe-return-value7/ And have to use projects, however from watching videos my load order icon and name colors are correct. Edit: I have been made aware I installed too many large mods despite them being compatible, and am now working on fixing that.
  5. It has consistently and spontaneously been crashing at random, and it happens VERY often. The game also tends to crash when I travel to specific areas on the map. Rivet city is practically unplayable, despite having done the FO3Edit fix for FO3UP regarding Broken Steel. I've spent a lot of time searching for and implementing various fixes, including .ini tweaks and pretty much every useful thing I could find on this site and on google. Any and all help would be deeply appreciated, as I just want to be able to have at least somewhat stable sessions.   6. For any particular Skyrim game, if you have no mods affecting something, that thing should just use vanilla assets, correct? The issue lies with gauntlets and boots, which should not be modded. Also, I'm using Fair Skin Complexion textures with Optimizer Textures, if that helps.
  7. Hello Feel free to ignore the wall of text. I'm just wondering what are your guy's thoughts on modding Fallout 4? How easy is it going to be? For example, quest mods... With a voiced protagonist and a dialogue system which revolves around a voiced player character, I think it'll be pretty awkward when it comes to quest mods. I know there might be one or two really large projects with multiple voice actors but those smaller mods with only 20 endorsements or so/made by people who can't afford to hire professionals, etc. are quite frankly, some of the best ones out there, in my opinion of course. Although, I do have an idea on how to combat this... Why not grab the bull by it's horns and strip Fallout 4 of it's voiced player character/completely revamp the dialogue so that it's similar to how it was in every other Fallout to date? A lot of effort, yes. It'd take time (years?) as you'd probably have to manually type up all the dialogue into a dialogue window. But, it's doable. Because if someone did this for the community, then the people who prefer a 'muted' PC or in other words, the traditional dialogue system can be satisfied and also people like me who could use it in combination with a mod that doesn't have voice acting - it'd make a lot of people happy. I doubt I'm the first person to think of this and I know somewhere out there is a hardcore Fallout fan who loves every Fallout (even the Originals) who'll ensure Fallout 4 is modded into Oblivion so that it suits their fairly acquired tastes. Removing the forced voiced dialogue, in my opinion, would be paramount to modding Fallout 4/overhauling it to be more like previous Fallouts. Of course, if that doesn't happen... Quest mods are going to be difficult to work with/gonna take a lot more effort to design. So, that's just one thing right there and by far the most obvious. Honestly, this is probably the only thing I'm worried about when it comes to Fallout 4 and modding (which is a massive part of the experience) but that won't stop me from enjoying it. Anyways, your thoughts? Feel free to discuss, share your opinions, etcetera.

  10. In my current run of Skyrim, I did not join the Dark Brotherhood, so I decided to use them to power the Ebony Blade. Everyone in the Sanctuary plus Astrid is 6. I also killed the 2 Argonians in Lights Out! Now totally 8. After I helped clear out Kolskeggr Mine, I killed the 2 miners. Now totaling 10. Mephala said some progression dialogue for every other kill. However, for the tenth kill, she did not say "At last, my blade is returned to its full glory. Now go forth, child. Continue your tiny subversions against the orders of trust and intimacy." And the Whispering Door quest did not update to "I have restored Mephala's Ebony Blade to its full potential." So to confirm the kills, I typed into the console "sqv da08ebonybladetracking", which resulted in ScriptState = "" ::FriendsKilled_var =10 ::GratsScene_var = (0010FAF2) ::MaxFriendsKilled_var = 10 - 1 Aliases for quest 'DA08EbonyBladeTracking' (0010FAEC)- REF 'MephalaInYourHead'-> " (0005BF3E) --Quest state-- Enabled? Yes State: Running Current state: 0 Priority: 0 From what I can understand from this, it says that I have currently killed 10 friends, but the quest is still enabled and running. In other words, it has not finished, despite the kills already hitting max. Here is my load order. Based on these mods, the only mod that ever touched the Ebony Blade was the Unofficial Skyrim Patch (unless there's another that I'm unaware of). Has anyone who recently updated their Unofficial Skyrim Patch encountered anything like this, and if so, how does one fix it? Testing this glitch was actually made a lot harder by the Unofficial Skyrim Patch (I know that this part is caused by the patch because it is in their fix list) because they made reanimation staffs cause the reanimated to turn into ash, like normal reanimation spells (before, if you had a reanimation staff, you could reanimate any individual repeatedly so long as their level wasn't over the staff's limit).
  11. Hello, today I tried to create a custom NPC for my mod. I wanted to give him a tremendous amount of health of, say, 2,000,000 HP, but I ran into problems. First of all, when I try to adjust the health offset, it caps at about 32700, and when I auto-calculate the stats his health goes into negative numbers. When I set it to scale with the PC's level, and set his level to 2900, his health automatically goes into negative numbers for whatever reason. However I did notice that when I loaded him up in-game with a calculated-health of about 32000, his health got boosted up to about 527,000 due to the Deadly Dragons mod, which I had previously set to increase all enemy health by 1500%. What this showed me is that, somehow, in some way, it is possible to boost the health of NPCs, maybe through scripts, although because I am really new to this whole process, I have no idea what to do. So, I am wondering if there is a way to increase an NPC's health to be in the millions, instead of being capped at 32000, be it through scripts, or if I am making a mistake. Any help would be a relief.
  12. Hi guys, I was just wondering if it is possible to make all the armors of Skyrim gender specific. I mean all the armors have special meshes for male and female and most of the time they don't even look a like. How immersion breaking is it to take the female liutenants armor with the bewbs and stuff and wear it and PUF! Bewbs are gone, metals are wider, sometimes even the matterial becomes different. Can it be done without breaking the games engine?
  13. Ok well I have played skyrim a lot, and I want to do one last play through with realism mods (frost fall etc), and alternate start, and K enb. I will use a female nord character, no armor, just clothes or maybe some light armor. Should I play as a dual swordsman, all out mage, archer-mage, or battlemage? It's not about which is best, but most FUN.
  14. Do you know any way to reduce city guard's level? When i'm on for example 34 level I can face majority of creatures and "bosses" and THEN a few stupid guards can easly catch me! I would like to enjoy my dragonborn power and don't be limited by weak guards! I can beat as much guards on my 34 level as I could on level 1! Is there any mod, or cheat on it?
  15. I am working on a mod, but now I want to have a scene with magic effects. Basically my scene works like this: Three people are doing a ritual and then a beam of light appears around the three people. As soon as the ritual is done the beam of light dissapears again. I know it might be really easy, but I haven't made a lot of scenes yet using this function. So if there is anyone that knows how it works, then I would really appreciate your help!

  17. Hi all, I am making conditions for some dialogue and was wondering what the '!=' parameter does? Does it mean it shows up if it ISN'T the value selected? For example does 'GetStage QuestID != 35' mean it will show up if the stage isn't 35. Any answers will be appreciated.
  18. Real Car Mod Well, I realized that the carriages had physics and, well, I was asking if it's possible for the carriage to be dragged by an invisible or non-existant horse. I had the idea from the SRM Companion cart and the touring carriages mod. If possible, I'd like dwemer style cart powered by fire salts (mileage of about 30 km/pinch of firesalts) , so apothecaries would actually be used as gas stations of sorts. It's gonna be great if there's steam particles coming out of the side exhausts. Kinda like the exhaust pipes of the optimus prime truck thingy near the windshield. I was thinking steampunk. Anyway, if it's possible to make a self moving cart without the help of a horse, (I think it's buggy if horses are involved.) How about adding some thrusters or something at the back. I mean, I know this is a physics game, it should be possible.. Possibly hard. I can edit sounds (I already have machine sounds in my database) and also I could do texturing. But for scripting and modeling, I can't help you there. Also, this will be the first mod project I will undertake in Skyrim/TES. I've been modding GTA for a while now, but not skyrim, so please bear with me being a simpleton at this undertaking.   19. So I really want to learn how to mod and I have some I ideas on mods to start with and some ideas for mods to attempt when I get better. I'd love if I could find some goods tutorials or somea dvice on how to start off the Creation kit is kinda large. The most complicated thing I've done was change the armor values for terra armors to match Skyre ( this was before I used the "Mighty Reproccer") Anyways any help would be much appreciated. :laugh:
  20. Hello! I just downloaded Unholy Darkness, and yes, I'm using OBSE, before you ask. For some reason, the first quest doesn't add a marker or anything and you can't click on the map-button while reading up on the quest. Does anyone know where I can find Silian so I can actually play through the mod? Anyone tips?
  21. ...Why didn't the Dragonborn just kill him while he was captured (after acquiring the info) and ask Paarthurnax to fly him/her to Skuldafn? I know that he turned out trustworthy in the end, but during my first playthrough of the game, he just gave off that aura of "Oh God if I let him go he's going to kill me." What also made me wonder that is, when the Blades asked me to kill Paarthurnax, and I consulted him about it, he even said "It is wise to mistrust a dovah." Has this already been discussed? :blink:

  24. So I have a problem with Oblivion Construction Set. I made Emperor Uriel Septim and I placed him in the Elder council chambers. I double clicked him in the Editor and I removed ALL of the other packages and I putted mine package in his package list. He only has mine package in the list but he still doesn't do anything. He's on the same spot and If i try to move him by force in game he comes back at the same spot. And I noticed that somekind of duplicate of him appeared in the NPC List but I didn't made a duplicate, I only made the original one. So about his package, I clicked on Travel and then I went in Conditions and there I clicked TARGET and I added there The Merchants Inn and I selected GetInCell. His package is that he goes occasionally to Merchant's inn and goes back to Imperial city palace but I didn't even completed the second package that he goes back to palace after he visits merchant's inn. I tried in game to see if he's gonna go in Merchants Inn but he doesn't he just stands there like wooden Marry -.-' Can someone help me with this and the other thing is, how to make everything in one ESP.... When I save I open the ESP that I created and Construction set makes me another esp, it's so annoying...

    I can't say i'm exactly new to nexus, As I have been jumping back and forth with using it for years, but back then didn't really know how or what forums were used for until I joined the RPG maker communities. (<<<Schlub) So I'll start with this: I have no natural talent in any skill I would like to have, but all the things I hate doing I am brilliantly perfect at; Cooking, sewing, science, writing, wood shop, plumbing, walmart customer service, etc... Skills I wish I was good at and get worse at with practice; programming, drawing, painting, pastels, sketching, hiking, mathmatics, etc... So here I am, a worthless Idea machine with no clue what I'm supposed to be doing. In the Rpgmaker communities I have a total of 56 unfinished projects, 48 of which arent posted, 36 of which are lost to all oblivion on some hard-drive out in the public somewhere. I am known as Crow, and XIX. I Tend to have more ideas than thoughts I can finish, I can name all of Zeus' Bastard Human children, and I can make a really mean cup of joe. I was picked on in high school for trying to be an individual, in an all sports high school of course, and I spent most of my time watching one piece while trying to ignore the morons that tried, and were succeeding, to make my life miserable. I have tried re-writing the same book 9 or so times, and never got past chapter 1. And i can count and recall everything when I drink to get blackout drunk... needless to say I can't blackout, just hurl up everything instead. My longterm goal since freshmen year of highschool has and still is to create a game development company, but at my current rate of skill improvement I will reach that goal in as soon as 500 years. I flunked my first semester of college trying, TRYING, to pass my Algebra class and neglected my other classes in return, most all my time was spent in the study center working on algebra. I don't actually enjoy playing games as much as I enjoy looking into how they work and trying to learn what does what. I like being creative, but in terms of creative skill, as I've already said, I have ideas... So that's me, well, a bit of me, nice to meet you all, well, some of you, those who are still around.
