Hi everyone, I'm having the following problem: As soon as I change anything in the installed mods, when I try to continue playing, a small, empty black window appears and nothing happens. I suspect it's the window that normally says the mod list is different, where you're supposed to be able to confirm with OK. But that doesn't work. As I said, the window is empty and nothing happens, no matter what I click. It also doesn't matter whether I add a new mod or remove an old one. It also doesn't change anything if I copy the save games, restore the original state of the mods, and use the old save games. Could it be possible that a mod is causing this window to be empty? Has anyone else had this problem? Best regards

I am experiencing an issue. Vortex.exe doesn't want to launch and stay open. OS windows 11 Vortex - latest as of 10.12.2025 last time I played modded skyrim was like 2024 and then I uninstalled skyrim. Hadn't touched vortex after it. Then it didn't seem to want to launch. Today I tried to reinstall. deleted using the uninstall.exe and reinstalled latest from nexus. checked .net 6 is up to date and reinstalled to custom directory however. Still .exe only launches and shows up in task manager for 2 sec before closing. Antivirus doesn't recognize issues either. Tried to run as Admin also but to no avail. What could be the issue? I played earlier today without any problem and now when i try to press "launch" button in vortex it just spins for a few seconds. I know the game updated recently but i've played multiple hours after release of it. What i've done between the time i played and before it didn't start is. Update 4 mods I've tried disabling all of them but game still won't run. People have told me to try enabling mods in redLauncher, doesn't work aswell. Tried launching through steam, didn't work. Would like an error message or something. Feels like i'm rather stuck. My mod list is pretty big but i've used all of these in the latest update without any problem expect for now

Hello, So I've been modding Skyrim (not without some trouble -.-) and it was working fine until suddenly my MO2 decided to not launch SKSE anymore '-' At first it said it launched it but instead gave me the vanilla Skyrim when launching, now when I click launch on the MO2 menu by selecting SKSE, it doesn't even boot. I also precise I only have one menu mod and the unofficial patch for testing purposes, so it's not a problem from a mod (since both were working totally fine before). MO, SKSE and TESV.exe are run with admin rights I don't know if it's the right place for MO2 related troubleshooting but it's better to just ask, right ? PS: SKSE is installed correctly, I can launch without any problem without going through MO2. Also this bug appeared after I reinstalled my Skyrim cause of veeeeery weird bugs with enb (such as enbhost.exe that kept reappering even though I was deleting it) It also seem to bug at the moment SKSE should launch TESV.exe, but when I launch TESV.exe, it gives me vanilla skyrim without any mods. So forever ago i couldnt launch nexus for some reason, i thought "Ill just eventually reinstall it" today i finally tried to, i uninstalled it and re downloaded the whole thing, i still cant launch it, can someone help?

Hi Nexus, I hope you can help me with this. Today I got a little mod happy and downloaded an ENB and a couple of mods. The game won't start after I installed these mods. The launch screen will come up but when I click Play, the launcher closes out and the game doesn't start. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/43765/? This is the ENB I used, and I followed the instructions to the letter. I also had to install Enhanced Lighting and FX as well as Dark Dungeons for ENB. Any help you can offer would be very much appreciated. My load order, of course.

As the title says, I want to know how to launch F4SE through NMM. I tried to find out myself, but the only solution I could find locks up my NMM until I rescan Fallout 4, because it ends up thinking the game doesn't exist. I have the most up-to-date version of NMM, so if someone could help me, that would be great.

I've installed New Vegas today and when i started the game i got this error http://imgur.com/a/quFyj. I've tried a number of fixes and none have worked. I've downloaded all the vcredist versions, i checked dependency walker for x86 dlls and nothing, updated my windows, I'm on windows 10 btw, i've installed aio and still have this very annoying issue. If anyone has a possible solution it'll be a huge help, Thanks in advance :(

Recently I decieded to reinstall Windows. After i had done that i reinstalled Skyrim as well as some other games from steam. Skyrim worked perfectly normal. But then i decieded to download all my old mods. So I downloaded all my old texture mods and skyrim worked normal. But then when i downloaded my ENB (Rudy ENB) the game just would not Launch. If i tried to start the game from the launcher the game would tell me that "The Skyrim Launcher has stopped working" and if i tried to launch the game via SKSE the game would tell me something like "you were not able to start the program corectly 0xc000007b". But as soon as i remove the enb related files the game runs perfectly! I do not know what to do. PLEASE HELP!

No matter what I try, I cannot get MO to launch the GECK. That's the regular GECK and the NVSE Version, with or without the geck Power up. It crashes within seconds of loading, without loading all the proper windows.

Hello everyones =) I just invest in a new computer and re-installed Skyrim in order to try this new little Baby :3 My computer specs : There shouldnt be any problems for a moded skyrim with this kind of build ... Loot shows no conflicts TES5 load everything correctly to the end without errors Steam / NMM / Skyrim are all installed into C:/Program files SKSE and everything else up to date The issue is a simple Crash at the launch of the game, Bethesda intro then crash ... I arleady had this kind of problems in the past and it was always relative to memory usage. But this time i'm stuck :s i dont understand where it come from, except maybe the fact i'm now on Windows10 (was on 7 before) and the memory is capped on this one, but even there it seems strange to me. So... all of a sudden NMM won't run FO4 at all. Like it doesn't CTD/freeze/etc., it simply refuses to launch the game at all. When I click the "Launch Fallout 4" button, I get the "loading mouse circle" for a moment, but then absolutely nothing happens. I've restarted the program, checked my task manager, etc. to no avail. I honestly can't figure it out. I'm not getting any error messages or anything. It's acting like it should launch, but just... isn't. And it was launching fine before, and I haven't installed any new mods or changed any settings. Actually, I haven't done anything with the game at all... Also, (idk if this matters or not), somehow my version of NMM has suddenly updated to the latest version (I seriously don't remember hitting the "update" prompt when asked). I'm really not certain if that's pertinent, but anyways... Can anyone help me figure this out?

I am having a problem launching the game and google has failed me.. Lately the time from clicking the icon to getting to the main menu can run as long as 4 minutes, however once the menu loads the rest of the game (load times etc) runs normal no problems.. I have upgraded to windows 10 recently but the lag to the main menu was there before hand, just got worse.. I have attached my load order .. I deleted my old INI's files so all 3 are fresh... I recently reinstalled Skyrim and after that Mod Organizer. The only mod I've installed was SkyUI but the only thing that shows up In Skyrim Data files are my DLC's and an Alternate life mod. I've tried moving the Mod Organizer folder into the Skyrim folder then Into the data folder, but nothing showed.

Hello everybody, need serious help here. Im not "new" to this, so im starting to get a headache trying to resolve my Data Files load order. Yes FalloutNV crashes and wont start, the data files are not in order "FalloutNv.esm" is under the Dlcs. IM Not running any mod's just DLC'S So through steam game and dlc were bought. I recently re-downloaded the game back to my desktop to play. "Crashes and wont start" So I have NNM & FOMM & FNVEdit and both re-correct the order... however THE RIGHT order isn't applying to my Fallout Launch Data FIles screen.. Thus Game still crashing... Easy fix right??? Please help. ( Need to apply Right order of data files to launch screen.) Thank you.

This is my first time in ENBing, I opted not to use it long ago because I used razer's game booster to help out my low end laptop. I installed it as per the directions on the main site and directions of the mod Project ENB main page. I'm not one hundred percent certain I've tweaked it correctly, though the only thing I could've messed up on is my VideoMemorySizeMb which I can't seem to find definitive instructions on. (I've mine set to 18432 right now, but I've tried all sorts of entries. I have 16gb of DDR3 1866 RAM, and a EVGA SSC 970 4gb (or 3.5 whatever).) So after I've copied and extracted everything from main ENB files itself, then followed the directions for the Project ENB preset mod, I boot up with the SKSE launcher and... I've really no idea how to go about this. I've looked at a fix for Windows 10 users where he suggested a DirectX 9 install ,but... well, I couldn't even successfully install it, so I'm back to square one. I can run the game just fine with 200+ mods, it's just this enb issue. I've been at it for hours among days and I really can't afford it any more time. I want a next-gen looking Skyrim but the best 4k mods have parallax. If I need to I can always remove ENB and just go with the high textures, but I'm just going to leave this here and see if you fine people won't help me. So, I've been playing Fallout 3 for a little while now and decided to mod it. I used Nexus Mod Manager, followed all of Gopher tutorials, used BOSS, downloaded FOSE, downloaded ActivateInvalidation Invalid, and still my game crashes on start up with in the first 5 seconds. Currently the only MODs I have installed is the FWE mod. I have both parts, and the patch installed. I'm currently using Windows 8.

Yesterday, I tried to start up Skyrim with SKSE as I normally do but, for starters it took a long time for anything to happen, then it said Skyrim was not responding. I haven't installed any new mods, I didn't do anything since the last time I played which ran fine. I tried restarting my computer, re installing SKSE, and disabling the last few mods I downloaded. I think it is a problem to do with SKSE as I can start Skyrim from the steam launcher fine. If anyone knows what could have happened, any help is appreciated.

Hi, since a couple of months, I've got difficulties in running Skyrim. I modded it a bit. I'm not fool, I downloaded only well-known ones, like R'n'D or YY Anim Replacer, so I could be sure I wasn't installing viruses. But at some point it started to crash, so I removed scripted mods, modified the load order through TES5Edit, re-installed SKSE, etc. Then, it didn't crash so much, but some meshes kind of disapeared and, sometimes, I fell under the ground... I'm not on a cracked version of the game, I didn't install any ENB, the launcher and the SKSE launcher are set as administrator, and etc., all those basic errors. Long story short, the game was soon impossible to launch, so I deleted all of my mods, one by one, and anything linked to them. I made sure that I wasn't throwing away important files though. I uninstalled and re-installed the game many times (in Steam), brought the files to a friend of mine which knows better than me how to handle these things, uninstalled and re-installed again, but nothing worked. Actually, by ''doesn't launch'', I mean that the launcher opens up, I click ''play'', then a little black window appears on the top-left corner of my screen, then disappears, a bigger one in the middle of the screen, and it disappears too. That's all. HELP ME PLZZZ

hey guys i need help with my skyrim. Whenever i have the dawnguard dlc activated it goes into the start menu then all of a sudden crahes and goes back to the desktop with no warning at all. I tried a few things but nothing works need help thanks :)

Hey everyone! I have been a very serious and experienced modder for a while now, but there's one thing I haven't really touched and that's an ENB. Problem is I can't install any ENB because they all crash. Or I shouldn't say crash, because the game doesn't start at all. If I run TESV.exe nothing happens, except that there is a TESV process in taskmanager. If I try to run the game via the skyrimlauncher.exe the launcher starts but all buttons are greyed out, I can't do nothing and the only way to close this is via the task manager. Before anybody asks yes I have reinstalled both Skyrim and the ENB several times without any other mods not required by the ENB. I have also checked out tutorial videos on youtube just in case I was doing something wrong. The ENB's I have tested is: Seasons of Skyrim ENB, Project ENB, Realvision and TK ENB. I also have the latest drivers for my graphics card. The only thing I haven't tested is reinstalling Steam and then reinstalling Skyrim, but that doesn't sound like it has any effect. I would be very happy for any answers. I am afraid I have to format drive and reinstall my entire system.

Hi everyone, I did a bit of a derp today and forgot to open Steam before I launched Skyrim via SKSE, this made the classic launcher open up after Steam loaded and it configured graphic settings. Then the classic launcher crashed and now I can't launch the game at all. I'm guessing it's reset my real vision ENB settings. Does anyone know how to fix this? **EDIT** After a bit of messing around and reinstalling the ENB I got everything working again, so my problem is solved. :smile:
