  1. Hi yall, I'm new to modding in general, but I've had the idea of creating a mod where you can give tieflings and or human sized races hooved legs. I've been wanting to figure out how to look at the file for the base leg that the game has to edit. If I had the ability alone i would try to do it myself, but I can barely do Custom Tav. I've used maya as a modeling software for class, but I'm willing to try other softwares. I'm only really a graphic designer with a lot of ideas, but i want to be apart of the community somehow. Like to bring up hooved legs, the idea of a race being unicorns (more like Brightmaids) almost like how the last unicorn is (the movie.) I wanted to reach out to y'all to first see if this is a good idea and then maybe find people who want to work as a group for it! xoxo PeachTea
  2. Hi fellow people of Nexus , recently I reinstalled my Skyrim Special Edition to start a new game and become a werewolf . I installed moonlight tales SE mod for a better werewolf experience and today I just completed the companions quest in order to become a werewolf . However , I noticed a strange bug . Every time when i start to sprint with the werewolf , the right/left leg (I dont remember exactly which) starts to "cripple" and it feels so buggy . I did a bit of research in google but I didnt find the fix to this annoying bug . Can someone help me ? Greetings :laugh:
  3. Hi all, So I was wondering whether anyone knew of any male body hair mods for skyrim SE. There was some great mods for vanilla skyrim but I am having no luck when it comes to SE. I am not bothered whether the mod does or does not contain body hair I just want the body hair. Thanks in advance.

  5. Hey guys, So I have pretty much no idea how to mod, model, so on and so forth (but would like to change it one day!). I come to you to see if it would be possible for someone, to re-add the foot to the Marine/Zealot armor from the Far Harbor DLC, as pictured below http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/275096611235007758/D4EF0FBBCA4457F92F2EA613C179597E61156256/ http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/275096611235023797/D4697537A7599BCCE2971CC8500EE948A4DCF00E/ I find the Marine variant highly frustrating, that over such heavy looking armor, you get such tiny damn feet. It screws with my proportion perception a LOT. Id appreciate it if anyone could bring these back!

Hey there :) I am really happy with the damage modification mods currently available and with "Create your own Survival Difficulty" I can really make myself a hard time in Fallout 4 by getting easily killed. BUT ONE THING that always bothered me is the fact, that enemies can die by shooting them in the legs or arms. It would be awesome if leg and arm damage could only make up, let's say 70% of the enemies health and then it is limited. (bleed damage may be added, so they can die, but only after some time) So you have to kill the enemy by at least shooting him in the chest or head (like in real life). This mod could also allow to make enemies unable to fight by shooting them in the legs and arms, instead of always ending the lives of the enemies completely. I think this would be a very great addition to the already great mods that make this game much more realistic :) Can anyone tell me if it's technically possible and if the creative Kit would be needed to make such a modification? I don't know if I am allowed to say that, but I am willing to pay some bucks if anyone looks into it and is able to develop such a mod! :)

  9. I dont know how to make mods myself yet but I would love to see some prosthetic limb mods. I know there's a couple for oldrim I can port but I'm really looking for some nice new limb replacers or armor that would give me the desired look. Everything I can find is usually full body or both arms and absolutely nothing for legs, and even less for male characters. I figured they could be made pretty natural to the game using dwemer or steel/iron textures. If anyone is interested in making this mod, I'll happily be your first tester. Or if anyone knows of any great ones please let me know.   10. Could someone please tell me how I can make the left leg look exactly the same as the right one? with the spikes (think they have physics not entirely sure) and double leather belt. I'm extremely new to blender and would appreciate the assistance. Please and thank you. Update 1: Seems Shift+D can duplicate. Just now I deleted the vertices of the left leg and will yolo duplicate + X the right leg in the perfect spot :| no clue how to copy over the Armatures for the spikes. This program is tough. Update 2: Experiment seems to have yielded results. Gonna try and save and test in game if possible and later delete the second blade and figure out how to copy over the armatures. Update 3: Failure.. I knew this wasn't gonna be that easy .___. Back to square one'ish. Going to bed if anyone has any tips that can help me please be sure to post a comment and I'll read it when I get back, thank you.

There are quite a few mods in Skyrim that add locational damage, or damage that requires medical attention (i.e. More Dynamic Injuries), but it appears as though a grand total of zero mods exist with visuals for when the player is injured. No scars when hit, not bleeding wounds, and no bruises or broken bones when hit with a hundred pound block of fantasy metal. While a mod like Deadly Mutilation but for the player character would be absolutely amazing (hint hint nudge nudge), would it be possible at the very least to add in a limping animation for when taking damage? It could be SkyUI compatible, and have the damage needed be a changeable fall in health percentage, or it could be a set percent (i.e. health falls below 50%), or it could even be tied in with a locational injuries mod, such as Battle Fatigue and Injuries. I know mods like this have been requested somewhat frequently (I myself have already made a similar request), but I think an animation for limping would be a relatively simple mod to create (for someone who knows what they're doing) that would greatly increase the realism of injuries. Thanks!
  12. Ok, sorry to anyone who wasted their time on my previous solution, I screwed up there. I have a solution at the moment, but it is largely untested and potentially risky. (untested as my attempt to use it was interrupted by my computer freezing and now I have to start weight painting all over again). Please treat the following as a use and your own risk sort of thing, Ill edit this post if I can confirm it working, but Ill share the details now. Basically just skin wrap the meshes (just basic, no need to correct issues at this point). Then export your mesh to a nif (mostly just so you have a backup). Re-import the nif file you just exported into a new scene, bring a skeleton. Now before we import any animations go to your modifier stack on each piece and click on "editable mesh", weld your verts at a safe number ( i use 0.001). Once you have finished, import your animation of choice to weight paint with. Then you can click on the "skin" part of your modifier stack, and do your weight painting. This method keeps the verts welded so you dont experience breaking meshes during weight painting and seems to fix the sinking issue around the left leg. I dont think it normal to do it like this, but it is the only workaround I have found so far.. At this point I havent finished anything using this method so I can NOT confirm if it will cause issues or not, please keep that in mind. Make Back-Ups And Save Often! -SkyrimForDaWin *edit* Tested meshes in game, this workaround works fine.
