So, this is my first time installing mods on New Vegas (using Mod Organizer 2, btw). I followed the instructions on the mods themselves, as well as ideas from multiple threads on load orders, but when I boot up the game, my cursor never appears and neither does the various icons on the main menu of the game. I have tried multiple fixes suggested online, including changing load order, disabling mods one at a time to find the culprit, and even disabling every mod to see if it fixes. Nothing has worked. Can anyone at least attempt to help me fix this? Hello there again. Recently downloaded again RACEMENU mod and I noticied there's not opitions to change breasts and butt size. In fact I remember that this mod had those opitions before. I have Bodyslide and UNP installed here.

Every time I use the skill menu I get a crash to desktop. I can get away with it if I sit very slowly and let each movie play one at a time, but even then it can still get sketchy. I looked into it and there are a number of other people who have the same issue. (There's a thread on the steam forums for it. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) the culprit is the preview movies themselves. A mod that replaces the movies with a lower quality smaller video, or preferably just disables them all together would make a huge difference to me and I believe others mind find it useful. I was actually attempting to do it myself, but I'm pretty out of my depth. I believe the videos are in the pak archive below, natives/stm/appsystem/gui/prefab/skillmovie/ but what to replace them with to make sure its compatible with the game, and does break anything, or an efficient way to replace all of them, all seem above my skill set, even with a decent portion of my night dedicated to researching how to do so. Please let me know if this is something someone could/would do, as it would fix the biggest issue I have with the game so far. Thank you for reading at least!

I am running into an issue with my pipboy where the apparel screen shows "::)" to the left and as I play it seems to stack on top of itself. Eventually it also appears in the weapons screen. I have tried disabling every UI mod but it doesn't go away. Don't suppose anyone else has run into this? Considering how many tacti cool guns mods are here in fo4, i would spect someone to make a fps wheel menu but nope, not a single one, i know it is posible to make because in fonv there is one so i am asking why here is diferent, so decide to make a mod reques so maeby someone looks this and thinks "hey, this guy is right, why dont we have one? lets make one"

I'm hoping someone can help me, for some reason my game crashes, and my computer goes back to the home screen whenever i press the Pause/Journal Menu button, does anyone have any idea what this might be?

Hello, I have a very few mods installed on my AE v. 640, so I don´t know if it´s a problem in the vanilla game, or with the "Go to bed" and "Sit on stuff" mods. (When I press "E" I just get out of bed instead of sleeping). Maybe someone can give me some help.

Hi everyone, i'm doing Fallout modding since a few years, but after a new installation i have a annoying situation with my workshop (mod) menu in game. I have roundabout 40+ building mods and the menu works great so far, all vanilla tabs are there and 80 percent of the mods like CVC, creative clutter, woody's wasteland workshop, alternate settlements and so on are where they supposed to.....I have every SMM patch, i was able to find on nexus. The annoying thing is, under the vanilla "special tab" and the vanilla "decorations-> miscellaneous" tab i have like 100 + items and it is pretty annoying to get to the end, cause it takes it's time. And as example giving, I remember in my last installation i had sub tabs and my decorations section looked like miscellaneous --> bathroom, electronics, plants...and so on. I know i injected the mods that are in there in the main menu, but i really believed i could find the things i need under the sub tabs. But these are not there, so i have every item unsorted in my misc. menu. I also have no idea how all the other mods, like e.g. HBO TV's items ( this should be under the power --> electronics tab or the decorations--> misc.--> electronics section) landed in my Special menu. So i would need a mod, that create such sub sections and put the downloaded mods in the right category. is someone here who can give me a push in the right direction? help would be appreciated

Hello people! I have i great idea that i don't understand why nobody did it. I saw, there are a lot of nice custom music tracks for main menu, but the game, only can play one track. It would be possible to do a plug-in, maybe by F4SE which could make you set some different tracks via *.ini fine, and the game plays them randomly at main menu? I have no idea how to do this, but maybe a modder likes this idea and can do it Thank you!

Does anyone know how to create prompts and assign them to objects or peds using Rage Plugin Hook? Are there any tutorials available?

Assuming it's possible somehow.... I basically want to be able to talk to specific follower about toggling something on or off (via dialog). When the typical dialog box appears (ie. Wait here, etc) there will be something like "Toggle Such and Such On/Off", and when this is selected a menu with the toggles will appear with 3 options: Cancel, On, and Off. I already have the dialog quest setup -- non issue -- but I was experimenting with some scripting in the Papyrus fragment box to see if I can get this to work, and the script is producing errors. I've looked into creating a menu/toggles but in relation to activator switches on object references. Does anyone know what the fragment is missing in the code below in order to make it his work (Again, I'm assuming it's possible)? Strange one. Yesterday was fine. This morning I updated DAR, installed a few new animations. When I first started this morning, in the loading messages in the upper left corner, I noticed a message that stated "MCM registered 44 new menus." Went into MCM and now the left hand Mod name, when clicked, does not match the corresponding mod. i.e. I click on BFL (Better Face Lighting) shows Immersive Creatures with configuration settings. I have run my saves through Fallrim tools to no avail. I'm wondering if there is maybe a .json file or something that associates the mod MCM name with the correct mod configuration file settings? I try real hard to not just fix a problem but understand why it occurred. So, education is always good, help is even better. Attaching Loot file below. One thing I almost forgot. I also ran CAO last night on the Vortex Mods Staging folder. Think that is the right one. Seemed to be. Don't know if this info is absolutely necessary, but..... Is there any way to remove changes made by SMM quests to the workshop menu? Once they run the changes to the workshop menus are baked into the save game. If I run the SMM menu rescue (without the workbench accelerator active) then the SMM menu changes go away temporarily but just come back even if their quests are removed the next time I restart FO4. The quests already ran so removing them doesn't seem to do anything. I don't want to deactivate SMM and try to make a "clean" save because that's not a great solution. It'd be great if the menu rescue would remove the workshop changes made by SMM and just rerun the existing SMM quests; that's pretty much what I originally expected it to do. That way changes to the SMM quests could be reflected in the menus after the rescue finishes. That's not what happens though. I'd like this because I've been working on a patcher on and off which lets me reorganize the workshop menu however I want from config files. It also generates new SMM quests when menus/formlists need to be added to the workshop build menu in whatever order I want. The problem with being able to make any change to the workshop is that you can make any change to the workshop :| It'd be great to be able to have a cleanup for obsolete SMM workshop changes. But... the problem is that once the SMM quest adding a menu has run, the change it makes to the build menu persists. If a new quest is made to replace the old one then I just end up with duplicates. Removing a SMM quest doesn't do anything to the changes it made because it already ran so stopping that quest doesn't do anything for me. Any mods that anyone knows can do this if the SMM menu rescue doesn't do it? Thanks!

Hello good.I would like to know if there is any mod or some way to do that when selling / buying objects in a store they ASK US FOR CONFIRMATION before selling it. You know, the typical question of "are you sure you want to sell this object?", And thus avoid accidentally selling an object that we did not want to sell. Or at least if there was a way to undo a sale made (ctrl + z style in windows)It is rare that the system is like this ... On the other hand, if you recommend any type of mods that change the interface, menus, etc. I could use it very well, since the menu system that comes next seems quite uncomfortable. P.D: I'm fairly new to the game even though I wanted to play it for years. THANK YOU !

So i just tried my hand at modding today, Ive got a modlist of about 20 or so mods. I am pretty sure I have downgraded correctly, I can launch through the SKSE launcher with no issues... but once the game loads, all I can see is the dragon logo as if I have zoomed in on the top left corner of the menu. I have gone over my load order a few times and cannot for the life of me figure out why I am zoomed in on the menu. I am using vortex just because its my first day, I will probably eventually switch to MO after some research, but I feel like I should be able to figure this out. It might just be a resolution setting I am not seeing, but the games .ini files show the proper numbers. Help?

I am having an issue where the menu select(inventory, map magic an level up) screen very quickly shows up on loop, it's very hard to notice when not moving but when clicking anything or moving around I've noticed it stays on screen when i happen to press a key at the right moment or move the mouse, I have tried 3 different keyboards, remapped my menu key to different keys, an tried using a controller instead an it keeps on opening an closing really fast. Anyone know what might be happening here? So I recently started a new run of New Vegas and got some mods to go with it just for the fun of it. Most of these mods weren't making huge changes to the gameplay beyond Project Nevada (Which I Highly Doubt is causing the issues since I tried disabling the mod and booting the game and the problem persisted). So I get to Primm and finished talking to the old dude who runs the Mojave Express, when the game starts stuttering and then just closes on me. I try to run the game again and it instantly closes. I try running a save from when I just left Goodsprings, and it closes just a minute later. Before the game closed in the earlier save however, I tried opening a container and it displayed nothing in either container. I then tried to open my pip-boy and all the menu options were pressed into the top-left corner of the menu. I have no clue what's wrong or how to fix it. I'm honestly not to sure what that means or what to do with it but I hope this helps with a diagnostic if anyone can come up with one. Also the game just refuses to load a save now, and starting a new game tells me that Project Nevada couldn't load properly due to it's hud not loading correctly.

Hey guys, does anyone knows if there is a mod to increase that little banner at the top left corner that displays the items you gained or lost ? I'm using DEF_UI and tried to use their config program but at best the only thing I managed to do was zoom in on it and increase it overall but it still maintains the 2 item limit Thanks!

Some years back square gave us the opportunity to look at old expansions intros and main menu screens. However many were disappointed it wasn't a change that would stick around on next log in. I would like to request a mod that would toggle a desired and available expansions main menu, even across log outs and log ins.

They physically hurt my ears and my tinnitus is horrible after playing today. It actually feels like they have a harmful sound that can actually hurt peoples ears. Just as the title states. I edited a video to include Mumbo's Garage music when you go into the ship building menu, and it was hilarious but surprisingly fit kind of well. Somebody who's smarter than me should definitely make it into a real mod. Or maybe a mod that lets you add any mp3 into a folder and it will play that track?

Can someone make a mod so that you can see location of the mission in mission menu, it would be easier to plan your route, just to indicate a solar system where the mission is, would be enough, solar system and planet would be even better :) I would upload an example, don't know how :|
