  1. So, this is my first time installing mods on New Vegas (using Mod Organizer 2, btw). I followed the instructions on the mods themselves, as well as ideas from multiple threads on load orders, but when I boot up the game, my cursor never appears and neither does the various icons on the main menu of the game. I have tried multiple fixes suggested online, including changing load order, disabling mods one at a time to find the culprit, and even disabling every mod to see if it fixes. Nothing has worked. Can anyone at least attempt to help me fix this?   2. Just recently got back into playing after a few years and reinstalled and started fresh with a new load order. I just finished getting everything set up and upon startup my game will not launch through Mod Organizer 2, but it will launch if I just use the SKSE loader. Here is my modlist --> https://modwat.ch/u/kenDandy I also made sure that the SKSE entry in the dropdown menu points to the correct folders. Hey, I am using the latest version of Skyrim Special Edition and the latest Mod Organizer, I am having trouble with some loose textures / meshes not showing up in game using MO or NMM, these loose textures are ONLY loading when copied manually into the Skyrim Data folder. Mod Organizer is indicating that everything is fine and that the textures are there and not being over-written by any other mods however, when I go in game the textures are not showing. I believe this is also causing many of the characters to have dark faces and / or purple heads beneath the hair. The most simple example I can provide is with the mod HQ Food Ingredients, it adds a really detailed bread texture among other things and is also a loose mod, if using mod organizer the mod is enabled however there is no modification made to the texture in game and it looks vanilla... if however, I manually add the bread01.dds file in /Data/textures/clutter/food then when loading Skyrim through mod organizer when in game the bread texture is working fine. The problems appears to be with almost all loose files not loading, including Noble Skyrim HD 2K etc. I have tried to: Use different versions of NMM and MO and running as AdminUse a legitimate copy of Skyrim Special Edition from Steam after uninstalling / reinstalling / validating and I have also tried older pirated copies.Different directories for MO and Skyrim SE and different SSD's and HDD's entirelyNothing seems to fix the problem, I have been modding Skyrim since 2012 and never had any problems like this before. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. Hi, I have narrowed the problem of the body/head mismatch to ks hairdos mod. When i disable step by step mods which dealing with body or face/hair to check which one is causing it, its stopping on the ks hairdos. So its like 90% of the problem is this mod in my mod list. Is there any option or patch or dedicated load order to fix it? Im begginer in modding but im using MO, LOOT, FNIS patcher, BodySlide. The actual body is the CBBE Curvy. The weird thing is that, for some NPCs its fine and for some others its not. E.g Sapphire in Riften has also body mismatch etc. I'm including list of my plugins using ModWatch. And also the screenshot of this issue. What i ve tried: - Changing load order for Ks Hairdos - Switching it off and on and see that its causing mismatch - Using LOOT very often I didnt check if on new game this bug occurs when i modify ks hairdos load order. If you guys have any ideas of how to deal with such color mismatching i would be really happy if you could help me figure this out. Cheers P.S Also when i was using NMM at early begginings i have installed apachiHair and i know only, that i have also experienced such color mismatch even if i installed those patches for color mismatch from Apachihair. But this situation was on different save and different mod list. EDIT: I have already searched on the forum on tag mismatch body but i didnt find any useful stuff.

Hello, So I've been modding Skyrim (not without some trouble -.-) and it was working fine until suddenly my MO2 decided to not launch SKSE anymore '-' At first it said it launched it but instead gave me the vanilla Skyrim when launching, now when I click launch on the MO2 menu by selecting SKSE, it doesn't even boot. I also precise I only have one menu mod and the unofficial patch for testing purposes, so it's not a problem from a mod (since both were working totally fine before). MO, SKSE and TESV.exe are run with admin rights I don't know if it's the right place for MO2 related troubleshooting but it's better to just ask, right ? PS: SKSE is installed correctly, I can launch without any problem without going through MO2. Also this bug appeared after I reinstalled my Skyrim cause of veeeeery weird bugs with enb (such as enbhost.exe that kept reappering even though I was deleting it) It also seem to bug at the moment SKSE should launch TESV.exe, but when I launch TESV.exe, it gives me vanilla skyrim without any mods.   6. I'm using MO since a while now and my Game keeps on crashing randomly.. I know that FNIS XXL can cause some more crashes, but I barly can play the game.. :/ Maybe someone can help me with my load order/esp order. Or maybe you guys know about incompatibility between Mods.

  10. So I am planning to build my mod list I am aware about load order but what about loose files is there a certain pattern I have to follow? I want to improve the Graphics got the ENB ad some replacers and quests and make it as real as possible. I havent Modded since the Sims 2. But now I got all the time in the word again and I noticed the modding world has gotten advanced. I want to try a few mods before I go and design my own. Any help would be great.
  11. Hi, I recently decided it might be better to switch to Mod Organizer since so many people are praising it. Sure enough, many of the mods I failed to get to work with NMM worked great with MO. However, there seems to be one problem. I try to run FNIS and I can see it open in task manager and Mod Organizer says: MO is locked while executable is running (like it's supposed to do) But returns to its normal state as FNIS doesn't open correctly. I have tried opening it from the folder itself, didn't work. I have tried installing it manually, didn't work. I have tried administrator rights but to no avail. Before when I used NMM, FNIS worked fine. Nothing wrong with it. But I feel like I can solve the problem and continue using Mod Organizer. (Plus I would like to keep the mods that finally work). This is what I first get after I have installed it and run FNIS: After I press yes, FNIS opens in task manager, not the window itself but closes again when this window pops up:When I press yes, FNIS stops running and I can't run it again because when I do, it stays open for 3-5 seconds and shuts down again.   12. Hello there, I just wondering if there are any news about the new Nexus Mod Manager, that should be something like the new Mod Organizer. I'm Stick with MO, 'cause downgrading from it to NNM after years and years was impossible. MO 2.0 works pretty fine, isn't the most rocksolid things of the world but it works, but, you know, having something more official would be better. So I really hope to see some Alpha or Beta really soon... sooner... earlier, yesterday ? xD Thanks by the way for all your efforts.
  13. Whooooo boy. So I'm going to start from the beginning. Two years ago I built my first PC. Finally had the money to hop on the PC master-race bandwagon. First game I bought? Skyrim. I wanted to play Skryim at 60FPS. Loaded it up, and marveled at the ultra settings and how well everything ran. I then bought Counter Strike and met a few of my online friends who learned I played Skyrim and they asked me, "What mods do you have installed?" Well I didn't end up sleeping that night as I went balls-deep into how to mod Skyrim. Found Gopher on YouTube and made my way here, naturally. Let's go ahead two years. I'm still modding Skyrim. I'll add mods, play through the game, finish and restart. Delete the entire Skyrim folder and redownload it and remod the game. Well recently I started thinking "Hey, Minecraft has modpacks, maybe Skyrim does too!" My thought process is that since mods have a LOT to take into consideration. Conflicts, load orders, leveled lists, etc. Maybe someone who knows a HELL of a lot more about making mods work together decided to throw a couple hundered mods together, took the best of the best, optimized them to work amazingly together, and threw them into a .7z or .rar file for others to download and just transfer into their respected games to be able to play as well. But...it was not to be...After a quick google I found people mention two different "mod packs". Legendary Modpack, and Skyrim Perfectly Modded. But something stuck out to me about them...They required a non-Steam version of the game. Now, I don't work for Valve, or Bethesda, but I'm pretty sure that the only way to not have Steam running with Skyrim you either have to 1. Find a work-around, which is possible with some magic and a prayer, or 2. Have a cracked version of Skyrim. Not saying that it's an illegal copy because many times people "crack" Skyrim simply to not require Steam to be running while they play, but "cracking" Skyrim is, itself, illegal if you are going to distribute it. Again, after another quick Google, a few forum posts have put my dreams of a mod pack to rest as they have more or less said that mod packs don't exist. If anyone has any comments/thoughts/ideas please post them as I would love to know if I'm the only one who would want to see such things become available. :D
  14. Hello everyone! Sorry for the inconvenience, but I'm having a serious problem, which is making me tired: I can't generate the facegen data, I mean, the folders with corresponding files inside. I open the Creation Kit using Mod Organizer, I already tried executing with and without administrator mode. I wanted to export the Irileth face generator, I already have it in the order "Actors> Actor> Corresponding Race" and then pressing Ctrl + F4, I get the message that the files have been exported, but then I go to the folder "overwrite" and I can't find any folder containing the .nif and .dds files! I have already noticed that Irileth has unchecked the option "Is Chargen Face Preset", and even when I set that option, I can't generate the files. I've tried to modify it, save as mod, close the CK, reopen it and load the mod, export and then save and close ... but still nothing happens. Instead, when I open CK without Mod Organizer the export works correctly! But, obviously, I can't use the CK that way since I'm missing the other plugins I need ... Please, if anyone has any solution for this I would greatly appreciate it. EDIT: Only the folder "Textures" is created, and I find inside a single .tga file, the rest does not appear.
  15. Alright, I've been beating my head against the wall for a long time trying to get my Skyrim mods to work, but after 20+ hours, I finally got it working... or so I thought. Now, whenever I try to enter the Sleeping Giant Inn, I get an endless loading screen. It's likely related to my many mods, so I have a list here of what mods I'm using. My guess that the issue is with a follower that is at the inn that can't load in when I try to enter, but other then that, I'm flying blind here. I have a papyrus log, but its a whopping 1.42 mb, so I can't upload it here on Nexus (limit is 250kb). I had to divide it up in order to fit Nexus's limits, the file "Error 1" is the first... fifth? Of the log.
  16. I'm using Mod Organizer and Racemenu, but Presets don't work. I've made SKSE/Plugins/CharGen/Presets in both Data, MO Mods, and the Racemenu mod itself. I put my .jslots in the preset folder but when I launch my game and use Racemenu, the presets tab says "CharGen is Unavailable". I have the option to save my characters preset, but no file is found in any of the folders. I have all the required mods and I have tried making my own mods with the .jslots and putting them in the overwrite folder, any other suggestions on how to fix this? (I don't know if this is relevant or not but also my sculpt tab is just a bunch of black GUIs with respective headers, no character face outline or anything)
  17. I can't figure out how to get any presets to install normally. I'm very noobish so bear with me. I have tried to set data directory on the ones with data, and I'm not sure what to do here with these ones. I've tried to create a data directory but I'm thinking I'm doing it wrong. The same thing pops up on manual installs. I don't know how to find the xml files cause they're all in rar and I'm likely missing something very simple here. I'm getting tired of it so I turned to the forums for the first time for help. I uploaded an image of one of the random presets I tried to get work (I thought it was just one preset but it seems all of them are doing this).
  18. Alright I really want to set up mod profiles for oblivion, and Wyre bash doesn't seem to have any built-in one. Plus, MO has served my profile needs well for Skyrim. So, this is what I plan to do: Currently, everything I have is installed in Wyre Bash. -I'm going to start uninstalling them in Wyre Bash, and moving them to MO so they may be managed. I plan to leave any mods that require wyre bash in wyre. -I will install most mods to MO and use MO's profile system. -I will then use MO to launch Wyre, then use Wyre to launch Oblivion. EDIT: -I will also use MO, not Wyre to manage ticked/unticked .esps. EX: I install Better Cities with Wyre, then use MO to turn off any unneeded .esps. How does that sound? Should that work? Any tips/suggestions? This whole process is probably gonna take me a very long time... Also, let me know if you have any questions! Or you need me to explain anything better.
  19. Hey guys I really need help. Some of my mods like XPMSE and Dual Sheath Redux are acting up and not showing styles. Also familiar faces and SOS is not working as intended. I'm pretty new to modding so I need help. I looked on most of the modders pages and it looks like I've downloaded all the required stuff, like patches, skeletons etc. I know I defiantly do not have the right load order. (I've made my SKSE mod in ModOrganizer not read-only and tried running skyrim/SKSE as admin, which didn't work and only seemed to cause lots of MO related problems.) TK Doges temporary invincibility still works, but it doesn't actually move my character at all. I've tried using the carry weight fix option thing in TK dodge's mod menu, but that didn't do anything. Here's the TK dodge filetree in MO: http://i.imgur.com/TYZoCV1.png Also, I ran TK Dodge in FNIS and have UAC disabled in windows.
  21. Okay, let me explain this the best way I can. I'm trying my hand at some simple modding for the first time and I'm looking for some help. I'm looking at doing a retexture for a current armor mod (this will not be released, this is simply for my own character aesthetics). However, I am using MO for my modding and from what I understand a mod works across all my other profiles. So what I'm asking: is there a way to do a simple modification to a mod without it affecting the same one on another save? I'm guessing at this point I'd need to make a separate mod for a small retexture. How would I go about doing that? I'm extremely novice at this point, so I would ask if you could explain this carefully to me. I'm trying to be as resourceful as I can while making sure I don't muck up something important.

I got to making a preset i like and want to apply to my world's females, but i have no idea how to apply it too all the armors. I noticed that nude wise, it applies but not to the Remodeled Armor for CBBE Bodyslide HDT armors, those still seem like they are CBBE Curvy. Im actually not sure how exactly to use the Batch build, the ZAP options to remove stuff and such, so im hesitant to touch anything lest i ruin it D: For example, i saw the CT77 Archmage armor with the preset i liked, i pressed Build, and it said it was succesfully built, however no files showed in the Overwrite directory of Mod watch. DOes that mean they where installed right into the Data folder of the main skyrim directory? Its specifically this window: https://imgur.com/a/EfCxuw6 Which i dont know what to choose. the "Choose Output Set", do i keep the CBBE body TBBP? Also, for each armor its giving me a "Half HDT" vs a option where only the Armor's name is displayed. I dont know what it means. If i choose Half what will happen? If i choose the order what will happen? Help?
  23. I summarize in brief. I installed the skyrim mod with MO2, but when I try to use the LOOT or Tess5edit tool only the plugins in the Data folder appear (SkyrimUpdate, Dragonborn etc ...) where skyrim is installed, that is (E: \ Skyrim \ The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Legendary Edition) while the mods installed by MO are in the folder C: \ Users \ User \ AppData \ Local \ ModOrganizer \ Skyrim Yesterday I did not have this problem in fact showed me all the plugions help please Sorry for my bad English :laugh:

SO i have successfully used NMM to mod and I seem to have quite stable game and all, now the question I have is that can I use same time MO and NMM to mod Skyrim and be able to use both of them to play my differently modded game just by switching my Mod manager?? I don't see the problem but just want to make sure this is possible. I have been hearing so much that MO is better then NMM so I wanna try it myself now that I have learned how to use NMM. Who'd also like to hear some discussion about the two of them (But keep it friendly :D ) I also made a Poll to this title just to see the general opinion T: New to Modding but getting there (MOD user not modder, just to be clear but you never know :wink: )
