  1. Of all the mods I searched for here at the Nexus for Fizztop Mountain, a workshop is added, BUT, not fully functional. You can't recruit or transfer settlers to it, or make certain things like a bar-restaurant FOR a settler to take charge of. As the topic title suggests, is it possible to achieve FULL settlement status for this location? It would be neat to see how after using Minutement Take Over Nukaworld, (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/30509) the remaining minutemen using a bar I made from scratch.
  2. So, today I started work on a few little caves my thief character can retreat to. I've built lots of interior cells for LE, so this is far from my first delving into the creation kit. So I built the cave, added some lights, and sent my character in to check it out. Well... there are these giant walls all over the place that block the passages. They appear to be using the texture for the mountains, but they're not mountain pieces. These walls appear to intersect each other at various points. Even stranger, they can't be targeted in the console and disabled. I did not add these things to my cell. What I did was open my plugin in the CK, duplicated and renamed the aaaMarkers interior cell, removed all objects except the NavMesh, and went to work. What went wrong to add these mysterious pieces? Edit: They also appear to be one-way pieces. If I toggle collision and walk through they and turn around, they are not visible from the other side. They can also be walked through from behind, but not from the front side :\
  3. So I a trying to upload a height map into the GECK. I followed everything, 16 bit, 1024 x 1024, .RAW format but the GECK crashes every time I try to import it. Its a big map, almost 40 km. Is the size the problem? I really can not go smaller and its really bugging me that I can't get it to work. I have a height map already but I got a better one to use but for whatever reason it doesn't want to work.
  4. Alright folks, I want to get a group of volunteers and myself to work on a big mod like this that is comparable to mods like Project Brazil and The Frontier. Colorado has been relatively untouched in the Fallout universe and it would be cool to see this place come to life. There are cool places of interest like the Cheyenne mountain zoo and the Peterson air force base. If anyone is interested it would be cool to work on this. I have pretty shitty modding experience but learning would be nice.
  5. I have an idea for companion mod that includes it's own quest and possibly a new land. I've already written a intro/summary of it and some of the dialogue for the companion. Here's the Intro/Summary: "2077 was a year of fear. Some fears were justified, and some were fueled by propaganda. Vault Tec used people's fear for "scientific" gain. They gave a select few the promise of safety, only to turn them into experiments. Those who could not find the safety of a vault, were left exposed when the bombs fell. Many died, many wished they had died, and some survived. On a small military base in Mountain Home, Idaho, a different kind of vault was built. The price to enter a Vault Tec vault was too high, and desperate times called for desperate measures. Idaho people, notorious rednecks and survivalists, banned together to build their own vault on the Mountain Home Air Force Base. Entry didn't have a rich man's price tag, only a promise to contribute resources for the impending apocalypse. The people in the Mountain Vault thrived while Vault Tec vaults turned humans into monsters and individuals into brainwashed drones. When the doors finally opened, both groups found the world to be a harsh place. But harshness or not, the Mountain Vault was still a home on the wastes." Sevina, the companion, has come to the Mojave to look for help to reclaim her home vault. The Bruneau Raiders took over the vault and she fled. The NCR is took busy to help. The Courier stumbles upon her in an abandoned shack and offers to help out. They can venture to Idaho then and there, or you choose to go later. Sevina will tag along and comment on your travels. I know nothing about modding, aside from a few tutorials I have watched. I would love to do all the voice acting for Sevina. If this mod interests anyone, I would appreciate some help or support.

Hello everyone, i hope this is the right forum to post my question, basically i am making a mod right now and i am not that experienced, so now i have this issue that i placed some high mountains in the area. When i go ingame and walk around the area a bit, i noticed that the mountains arent there fully at all times. I hope you can see what i mean, these 2 mountains are the best example of this, i tried around a little bit but couldnt find a solution. Again, i hope this is the right place and somebody knows a fix for this. Thank you.
  7. Hey. So I'm fairly new to modding Skyrim (though I won't say I'm completely oblivious to the processes involved, etc. ), and I'm having a slight issue with ENB. I find Skyrim's default pallete to be a bit dry, there's far too much grey for me, so I tried installing this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48563 This worked absolutely fine at first, and made my game look lovely. For some reason, though, it seems to have now broken completely, and is rendering objects in the distance incredibly dark. I have tried fiddling with settings such as fog, depth of field, ambient lighting and blur, and all to no avail, so I'm wondering if anyone has any idea what might be causing this, and how I might go about fixing it. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help, as this is really rather ruining my experience of the game. EDIT: I should probably add that I've also installed the Relighting Skyrim mods found here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17609/ However, disabling this did not fix the issue. EDIT: More testing. Reinstalling ENB fixed the issue (but of course removed all the benefits of the Beautification). Reinstalling Beautification on top of that broke it again. I can only conclude that the Beautification settings were not properly tested, and that I should find another set of ENB settings (or build my own, but I'm not sure I have the time).
  8. Is it possible to create a mod where you character glides? The function I'd like is something similar to Archeage's glider system. The mod doesn't need to use gliders, just the same concept.
  9. So, I had sort of an idea recently. I was watching old episodes of Top Gear (BBC) and on series 5, Jeremy Clarkson performs a ruggedness test of the (then) newLand Rover Discovery in which he drove it to the top of a mountain in Scotland. Later on he and the others were discussing it and he said that after he got it up there, he was tired and asked the filming helicopter's pilot for a ride back, and he asked the producer and their team to drive the Discovery back. He then left on the helicopter and napped and woke up an hour later to realize he hadn't left the keys for the Discovery. So he said to the camera, "If you want a Land Rover Discovery, you can find one on the top of a mountain in Scotland guarded by five skeletons." I hope you're following me here. That comment struck a chord with me, being an avid Skyrim player. A prize on the top of a mountain guarded by skeletons? That could easily fit in Skyrim. I'm not 100% certain what it could be, perhaps some magic item that increases your carrying capacity or increases your running speed; preferably not something that dissolves into rust as soon as it gets a little wet. Just an idea. What do you blokes think?
  10. I've been modding for a long time now, and in the last week or so I have noticed that my mountains become very light, almost to the point that they are an opaque white colour, during storms. I would like a fix because it is just very annoying what I'm out adventuring and all of a sudden, in the rain, I look up, and see a white mountain. If anyone can help that would be fantastic, thanks in advance.
  11. Hello everybody this is not an idea more a searching for a existing mod. But i looked now for hours and i cannot find this mod! I have this mod already installed a long time ago on another computer. It is a underhall or basement or dungeon or what ever you wanna name it next to the lakeview manor. You could reach it near the stone pit through a small door in the mountain. There is for example a shooting stand for bows or a bedroom for many people. Hi yeah so this glitch showed up in my game, and i noticed it only after i installed a few mod, the problem is i uninstalled the mods i installed right before the glitch happened and i searched in the internet that lod glitches happen because of mods and the only way to fix it is to uninstall all mods and reinstall them but i really don't want to do that. So i was just wondering is there anyway to fix this mod without a complete reset of my mods? or even the cause of this mod? I just trying to find a fix for this other than completely having to reinstall my mods. Thanks :D
  13. I have both Hermit Mountain Cottage and Enhanced Landscapes installed, and I would reaaaally like to keep using both mods if possible. Essentially I feel like this patch should be easy to make for anybody with some CK knowledge, but please correct me if I'm wrong. With these mods installed there is a general conflict in cell [16, 13], where cliff faces and rocks from Enhanced Landscapes completely prevent you from doing anything to build the cottage. It essentially makes the whole mod unusable and I have no idea how to remove those rocks. TLDR: patch that removes the rocks/cliffs added by Enhanced Landscapes in cell [16, 13] that prevent the cottage from being built and used Thank you so much in advance!   14. Hello there, I'm relatively experienced in modding, at least in downloading and installing NMM and using LOOT to modify load order, and stuff like that. But, still a lot of stuff about modding and how things go arry escape me. Right now, I've been experiencing this golden mountain texture for parts of a mountain off in the distance. I thought I recalled fixing this a few years back when I first saw something like this. But, I've since then upgraded operating systems, and reinstalled everything from scratch. So, I'm just curious if anyone on the nexus has seen something like this before and or might know where I should start looking to remedy this sore sight.
