Hiya! Would it be possible to create a Mounted Casting Mod that works with Skyrim SE 1.6.323? The only two that I've tried either causes the game soft lock or crash when trying to ride a dragon / on the boat ride to Solsteim, and the other is Immersive Horses (which honestly I'm not sure if it even works correctly with the newest versions). To be honest, I've only used Convenient Horses. Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim adds the spell Ocato's Recital that goes off when combat starts and is currently the only way to (sort of) cast a spell from horse back. Not sure if this would be doable or not... Thank you, Modders, for all your hard work and making Skyrim Awesome!

I'd like to set up a way to have a series of power armors standing up in a line for a storage bay. Much like the power armor in Fallout 4, which is a wholly different object. I want to have more than just the little chestpiece and the helmet. Is there any effective way to make this happen? Potentially with some sort of invisible NPC? There's already a model for a "Mounted Vault Armor," but I was wondering if there was any way to set that up for the Power Armor...or if I'd just need to make a full model. Or perhaps a person standing there rigidly that acts as a container? Or is there a mannequin I could use? Any suggestions?

Hello. Let me get to the point right away. I have a big animation and camera bug problem. The animation is that, after i installed and then later uninstalled the third person stabbing animation in skyrim, whenever I do the normal power attack (No movement, just standing.) My character adn other NPCs melt into the floor and barely move their arms. Anyone have any ideas of how to fix this? Its not too bad, I can play with it for a while, but Im just curious if theres a fast way to fix it. Now, to the REAL annoyance. Horse camera. Now, when im riding my horse, the camera is normal. Centered on the horse's butt. But for some reason, now when I enter combat, and I pull out my weapon, the camera goes to combat mode for a few seconds, and then just goes back down. This makes it IMPOSSIBLE to aim and shoot bows or to even see where my enemies are. I have the customizable camera mod, could that be the problem? The only other mods I have installed that affect horses are Convenient horses and horse armor. Thank you!

Before throwing myself at the mercy of the CK I thought I might ask the wise men and women of this board if they knew a good starting place for modifying mounted combat, and more particularly introducing a version of "360 walk and run" for mounted combat SLASH altering the aim constrictions on mounted combat to allow for near-reversed aiming.

Hello, this is my first post to the excellent forums, which have helped me a lot so far just reading others posts/replies from the community. I have a annoying problem that I could not find an answer to: After viewing the map while mounted on a horse, the camera angle resets to a side view of my character on the horse. This is my first playthrough I am not sure if this is default behavior, or perhaps a mod effect - can anyone tell me? (I use the great convienient horses, SkyUI and high quality maps). Either way does anyone know how to stop this camera angle reset from happening? I would have expected the camera angle to remain where I left it before heading into the map... the issue really becomes important when fleeing/in combat - I look at the map for an escape route only to return out of the map, become disorientated/run gallop off the wrong way (and get killed in the process :-). Thanks in advance, any comments pointers or help greatly appreciated!!! Edit: Clarification: The camera angle reset appears to happen the moment you try to move on the horse, not actually when you come out of the map view - which does return you to the camera angle you were on before calling up the map.

Hello Nexus, i dont know if this is allowed but i have a request!! I wish for a mod that makes npcs fight while being mounted on the horse. This would put a whole new idea on humanoid enemies in the game as well as allies. Mounted combat has always been my biggest excitement for this game but unfortunatly the community never seem to have bothered with it. I know there exists mods that implement this but they dont seem to work at all currently? What im looking for: - NPC can use melee weapons while on horseback - They can at least aim their attacks while on horse. - When they run into with the horse, you stagger instead of flying off as a ragdoll. - If they cant reach the player they patrol around or hide as usual. Extras: - Charge (Gallop) when they attack and then backs off to do another charge. - Can use the bow and keep distance on horseback. - Can use spells on horseback.

Would it be possible to make a 20mm Shoulder Mounted Sniper Rifle, meaning one that goes over your shoulder like a missile launcher. It's just something I was thinking would be pretty cool to shoot stuff with a shoulder mounted sniper rifle.

Whenever I attack from horseback, my horse rears up. It's not a mod and it happens to all horses. to begin with it was just archery, but now it happens with melee as well.

LE Chief of Thirsk Hall - A title with benefits
Deleted4181807User posted a topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
SPOILERS!!! (Kind of...) As anyone that has visited Solstheim know, the island is pretty big. This makes the exploring of Solstheim on foot quite slow. I've just recently finished the Chief of Thirsk Hall quest and was kind of disapointed with the rewards when the dragonborn was named the Chief of the rieklings of the mead hall. Sure, you could get a riekling follower, but still, that does not feel enough for a chief. Thirsk Hall is now in the hands of the dragonborn, maybe he could choose it as his personal home? The dragonborn could hire a riekling steward and clean up/furnish the hall the way it pleases him. The prize beast Bilgemuck sits outside in his pen, pining for the fjords (If you get the reference, I approve your sense of humor :)) so maybe the Dragonborn decides to fullfill the dear boar's dreams. The dragonborn commands some of the riekling warriors to assemble a saddle/armor for Bilgemuck and ta daa!!! Solstheim now has a unique mount! In case the dragonborn was separated from his new and trusty boar, the riekling furnishes a horn of the tusk of a boar to call on the pig, as long as the dragonborn remains on the island. What do you think? Is this possible to make? I'd love to help, but I know modding as well as a rock can swim, but I will glady contribute with ideas. - the ArgonianBuccaneer-
