Hello, after almost 2 years, ive decided to re-install skyrim and dive back into its world, I installed the full thing, DLCs and latest SKSE included, then i ran into a bit of a speed bump. I was using a mega outdated version of the mod manager... so, i went to the site, re-activated my account blah blah, and i couldent download the manager from the site. The connection would time out to the server. I checked my Anti-virus, disabled it, no luck. I disabled all adblockers, no luck. Nothing i did allowed me to download the manager from the link on the server, it would always time out. Finally went and downloaded it via GitHub from Duskdweller, and installed his latest version of 0.65.8. I tried downloading the first mod, Skyrim UI. Same error i got from trying to download the manager. After like, 5 attemps, i managed to download the UI, but it gives me an error when i try to install the mod. I cant download any other mods, not even manually. They all cant connect to the server, i have no way of getting the mods. I tried re-installing the mod manager with version 0.65.2 from GitHub. Again, error in trying to install the UI mod i did manage to install. And i tried downloading 2 other mods, both from via de Nexus mod manager or manually, i cant connect to the server. When i log into the manager, it tries to search for updates, and says it cant reach the server to verify. What the hell do i do? My internet is working fine, ran a speed test and everything...

Hi guys I can't get the Bioware Social network to update my origins details at all, I have 8 characters and 20+ achievements but the website shows 2 deleted characters and 9 achievements here is the profile http://social.bioware.com/playerprofile.php?sku=dragonage1ue_pc&nid=2294898132 If you can see it! Anyway I wonder if my.Console is enabled I haven't done so manually but I do have the following installed and wonder if that would do it Dragon age rexesigned improved atmosphere extra dog slot extended dog talents ftg ui and quickbarmods detailed tooltips advanced quick bar even more advanced tactics natural bodies all in one More hairstyles Cc tints Pineapple colours the other mod that you have to merge with the above 3 I can't remember the name of it The fix and tweaks mod There are probably more but I can't recall them currently. thanks in advance

Does anyone have any advice to get around the fact that NMM can't find the server when I'm connected to my college's wifi? Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks, NJ

Hi there guys! I'm quite new regarding the NMS modding, and I have created few personal mods, but my biggest problem is I can't find is it possible to create mod that allows group member to chat from any point in the universe, not being limited to only the system they are in, I was searching for this option, but couldn't find anything networking related to it in the .MBIN files, or I missed it somewhere... :confused: So, I'll be very thankful if someone has any idea if this is possible, if so, to point me in the right direction or if he is willing to take a look at modding that particular problem, as is quite frustrating the limitation of the chat and not being able to talk from different systems with group members. Hello! I'm having extremely slow download speeds, even with a Premium account. At home, I have DSL, so there I understand. However, I pay for Premium during the school year so that I can utilize my school's Verizon FIOs (I just downloaded Skyrim Special Edition in 12mins) but I rarely get a DL speed above 500KB when downloading any mods from Nexus. *Back in Aug. I am sure most here have noticed the recent Vortex service outages on the end of Nexus itself in which users were not able to login or appeared logout of Vortex or the site. I am wondering as a someone that dabbles daily in enterprise datacentre hosting myself would it not be beneficial to make a limited status page aka heartbeat monitor for services? The Cloudflare CDN message that a service can't be reached is most times misleading and it does not work all the time from own corporate experience. Furthermore Vortex does not really throw up any meaningful error message itself which means you can only guess what is going on. While there are public non affiliated services like downdetector, is it down or is it just me they do not handle communication between applications either. I am not suggesting a full blown NOC heartbeat monitoring service just something simple as Site unreachable, Connection to user database interrupted please try again later. Or even more simple a we are experiencing technical difficulty pop-up or banner. I have no idea if this suggestion has been made before or rejected as the forum search function ironically is throwing up a generic error 500 message :smile:
