I am unable to download NMC successfully either through NMM or manually. It fails to install and usually only gets to about three percent unpacked before throwing an error. I have tried downloading all versions, reinstalling my game, etc. I even went premium to see if that would help. Any tips or help would be appreciated.

Hello all, I recently downloaded Ojo Bueno texture pack and It layered over NMC's pack nicely(in my opinion). The problem started when I tried playing the game on my laptop on battery pack. While figuring out that all I needed was to plug the thing in, I got a prompt to update my video card. After that update Fallout NV won't render LOD correctly. The terrain textures only show up about 5 feet from my character. What I have tried. - Reinstall of Wasteland Flora Overhaul - Reinstall of NMC's texture pack - Reinstall of Ojo Bueno - Checking video card settings didn't help either - Loading an old save but the problem existed there as well so I doubt it's save related. - Archive invalidation is already enabled in NMM What I haven't tried yet. - I have not tried messing with the ini files yet. - Reinstall of the game. Here's my load order of just under 100 mods. I use LOOT to sort it but I'm open to any load order suggestions especially regarding this bug. When i try to install NMC's small texture pack via nexus mod manager it says that a problem occurred during install, if i click on the error icon i get a pop up window that says: Failed A problem occurred during install: Access to path c:\Games\Nexus Mod Manager\FalloutNV\Mods\cache\NMCs Textures NV SMALL Pack SINGLE FILE FOR NMM-43135-1-0\NMCsTexPack_SMALL\fomod\info .xml denied. This mod was not installed. Has anyone encountered a problem like this? I have successfully installed other mods before. for example CONELRAD radio mod, populated casinos.

I'm new to the PC & modding community, Fallout New Vegas is the first game I've attempted to mod, and I've run into some trouble with NCM's Texture Pack. There's been a few missing/broken textures within indoor areas in my game, as well as the title screen breaking, and I've tried everything I can find to fix it. I'm using NMM, followed all the steps, and retried everything a dozen times, tried disabling other mods, and reordering things, as well as following NCMs troubleshooting instructions, but I'm at a loss for what to do now. Any help would be very much appreciated!

I recently installed the mod "NMC Textures" for Fallout 3, when I install it and open up the game it looks exactly the same as the vanilla one, as if the NMC Textures mod isn't installed. I even checked the textures folder in the Fallout Data Directory and all the files for NMC are there. Why aren't these textures working? What have I done wrong? Please help me as soon as possible

Hey everyone  As the title suggests, my download speeds are terrible while trying to download any Fallout 3 mod. The max I can get is around 40 KB/s while using NMM. I tried downloading manually through my browser too but I'd imagine that was actually worse. My internet is perfectly fine while downloading things from other websites and apps. I can download any Steam game fine with quite good speeds. This just makes downloading fairly large mods frustratingly impossible. Would have loved to be able to make my game look better with NMC's Texture Pack. Any help from anyone would be much appreciated!

So i installed the NMCs Texture Pack For New Vegas with Nexus Mod Manager. It lagged so much i couldn't play. So i uninstalled it and it's still activated?! I've had enough trouble with mods already and i would really love to play the game sometimes cause all my time goes to the mods and trying to get them work somehow. Any help is appreciated. :)

I've seen people run the game perfectly using the highest NMC texture pack with specs that are worse than mine, and on my original computer that had far worse specs it ran pretty well too. Yet my game keeps crashing after I install the game. I made a new save, went out of Doc's house and after I went inside the bar, the textures in there went completely black and the game crashed. Now when I load a save it takes about ~2 minutes for the game to crash. If I enter a house = crash. If I walk around, the game crashes. I even switched my NMC texture pack to Poco Bueno, yet the crashes didn't lessen much. I use the NVSE 4gb enabler as well. My specs: i5 3570k, not overclocked (perhaps I should) Zotac GTX 680 2gb (factory overclocked) 8GB RAM Here's my list of mods, I also use an ENB (Originally used Rudy ENB, switched it to Realism ENB) Screenshots of my mods: http://imgur.com/J0Ax41d,JtjVr8B My .ini's: I'd also like to add that I use the ENB transparency fix made by Omegared99, so it might also be about the switched shaderpackages. I hope this was informative enough for you guys to help me.

I recently installed the large version of NMC's texture pack. I followed all of the instructions correctly, including the archive validation part, but my textures are still default rather than the texture pack. I have uninstalled the mods then reinstalled through Nexus Mod Manager, and that hasnt helped I am using Nexus Mod Manager and have installed all 3 parts, clicking no on the update part as stated in the installation instructions. All of my drivers are updated, though I doubt that would cause issues Specs: Windows 8 x64 CPU: AMD FX8150 8 core OC to 4.2 GhZ 16 GB 1600 RAM AMD Radeon HD 7970 3GB 1 TB 7200 HDD

I'm using FOMM, have watched Gopher's tutorial but he uses NMM. I've downloaded the two performance files, removed the # and hyphen at the end to rename them, and then tried to extract only the first. From the instructions it said this will do both. It doesn't happen, I have to extract each individually. I've tried joining the files together and re-zipping them and then adding .rar using the package manager in FOMM as this is how I install my other mods, but I see no change. I don't want to drop both of these folders into my texture folder in data. How do I add these textures using FOMM?

Ok, I'm honestly losing my mind over here. I've been trying to install the NMC Texture pack since yesterday, and no matter what I do AT MOST I only get it to PARTLY work, meaning that the roads, the rocks, the houses etc. are STILL with default graphics. I'm using the ModManager 2, and I was trying to follow DarkPopulous's modding guide on YouTube, I did exactly the same thing (except instead of picking MEDIUM pack, I picked the LARGE pack), and it still doesn't work. I heard that I'm supposed to turn the Archive Invalidation On and then Off again, but I can't even do that, because the F.O.M.M. doesn't show me all of my mods, it only shows the DLCs from the game. I tried TWICE now to completely start from scratch, deleted all of my mods, and the game, reinstalled New Vegas, and ONLY installed the NMC LARGE pack, and I STILL can't get it to work. I know that I'm probably doing something wrong, but I'm doing the EXACT same thing that modding guides on Youtube say I'm supposed to do. If someone can help me out with this I'd really appreciate it, thanks. DarkPopulous

When I tried to install the NMC Texture Pack for Fallout 3 it installed it with "no errors" (marks it as succesfully installed in the NMM mod list), but it never asked me to overwrite any files. When I load my game no textures are actually replaced. I'm pretty sure that it should be overwriting some files in this case. It creates the new folders in the Fallout 3/Data/textures folder but it doesn't replace any of the vanilla textures. Also when I'm installing other mods like EVE it doesn't overwrite anything when it obviously should. Did anyone ever have the same problem or does anyone know how to solve this problem?

My Problem with Blurry Stop Signs
gdtharpe posted a topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
So, I have NMC and Ojo Bueno textures installed for New Vegas. I have them set in my load order so that Ojo loads after NMC, which should all be fine, the stop sign texture isn't even in conflict in the first place, only NMC has a replacement texture for it. I've checked around in game and both packs are working, I've got the Ojo Bueno pool table and the NMC saloon sign, EXCEPT for the damn stop sign, which is stubbornly sporting that ugly original game texture... I sifted through loads of texture files and finally found the stop sign texture in my folders, so I can't figure out why it isn't being replaced, but it is frustrating me. I've obviously searched for similar issues, but all I could find were people unable to replace any textures at all. Anyone have any idea why I can see all other textures except this one?
