  1. After years and years, we got the 1st volume Master Collection for the Metal Gear Solid series. And after all those years, we still cannot pause the cutscenes in MGS2 nor MGS3. I have scoured the interwebs for fixes. I have tried the Pauser by Jase and Nyrna etc. All of them cause severe audio desync and if you know Kojima, these scenes are long so the audio running ahead of the on screen action is immersion breaking to say the least. Seriously, this was the biggest fumble by Konami to leave out this feature. MGS1 is running through an emulator, so you can just bring up the emulation menu to suspend the game during a cutscene. MGS2/MGS3 have no such means of pausing the game during cutscenes, only the ability to skip is left intact. These games have been around a long time so maybe I am not aware of how difficult it is to make this happen but I just thought, since Delta is soon, those of us replaying the series who now have kids and houses and life, can pause the scenes and not miss out. Feel free to tell me it's not doable or explain why it isn't, I just thought I'd ask. Thank you so much for reading.
  2. I'm hoping someone can help me, for some reason my game crashes, and my computer goes back to the home screen whenever i press the Pause/Journal Menu button, does anyone have any idea what this might be?
  3. I would like to be able to pause time in crafting menus - but still scroll lists, filter, and craft. Just like in the merchant menu, basically. As far as I know this doesn't exist. If you want we could collaborate, but I have no experience with modding. Cheers
  4. Hello there, I'm having an issue that causes Fallout 4 to lag/pause/freeze/hiccup for about half a second every minute or so. It just started today on a character I've been using for over three real days (72 hours) of gameplay. I've already tried restarting the game and my PC, with no success. I'll share my load order, let me know if anything else is needed.
  5. There is the best important thing that must be made. There are a lot of people whose english is not good, like me. So When I play this game, I have to stop game and try to translate some word or sentences that I dont know or understand. But When I press ESC during dialogue, dialogue goes.So I cant translate it and I dont understand most of the goal and story in this game. İs there any mod that can do it? Or is there anyone who can make this mod? Thank you :)
  6. Witcher 3 is a great game but never a easy game for none-native English speakers. I've found a pause game mod called Friendly UI mod on Nexusforum. The mod can pause the game during cutscenes but it won't show the subtitles of characters' dialogues when the game is paused. I'm not good enough at English to play the game smooth. I have to look up dictionaries to figure out words I don't understand during cutscenes. I wish to find a fix.
  7. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but I always encounter this is in my game and I am getting fed up of it and I really want a hand in fixing it. Whenever I pause my game or open the console and then go back in, any ambient noise (such as a river or the noise of a sewer) or generic dialogue between NPCs just suddenly stops. I was wondering if anyone could know what causes this and would potentially know a way to resolve it. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
  8. I don't know if it's even plausible, but I've heard that you can pause the game through an exploit on PS4. Was wondering if someone could try and make a mod which lets you pause the game when you're alone on quests and expeditions?

Hi there, I would love to have a pause button during Cutscenes of KCD, cause when IRL comes to you (like i got 4 kids and a wife at home :-D ) and you're in a middle of a cutscene, you miss part of the story.   10. I was wondering if there's any way to remove the animation showing the character smithing/alchemising/enchanting, or outright pause the game during this animation for the same effect. I'm using a custom race, of my own design, for a custom worldspace I'm also working on, but due to it's proportions, smithing looks terrible. I've always disliked the real-time crafting, but it's especially annoying when playing a character that can't actually reach all parts of the table/forge, and clips through parts of it. Does something like this exist? Every google attempt just leads to people complaining about the exploitable potions in morrowind, or about making crafting take hours.
  11. Of all the realism or difficulty increasing mods you might think this one would have been made. I like messing around with mods to be powerful and fight hoards of enemies, and move much faster than normal and thought that the jumps between super fast and pausing time were too jerky. And its another type of rush I can get while playing, if I have to use the items in real time for healing repairing etc. It'd require a quick organized mind. But for the immersion aspect its just plain obvious. Why can we repair our gun five times with time paused and change all our gear and heal, while a handful of enemies are around the corner or on top of us? It just doesn't make sense. I think this mod would be swell. Not sure what sorta modders would want to give this a try skill wise, but I am sure it'd be harder to implement your pipboy hand flinching from impacts while using items. It'd actually make gunfights exciting and cautious instead of casual, but I'm totally biased. I think a simpler version would suffice but I welcome more complex mod versions of this idea as well. If it ever gets made Imma have a hell of a time trying to read the pipboy with the drug mods active while tripping on acid in-game with a dozen enemies shooting me lol.
  12. Because I want the game to be more challenging than just having to deal with bullet sponges, I've developed some personal rules, one being a severe limitation on the quantity of each chem I can carry (either 2 or 4 of each, depending on what they are, and any excess is left behind as though I never saw them - no stockpiling to sell), and for some of the more potent/useful ones (including stimpaks and grape mentats) I only let myself use found ones - no crafting them. Anyway, it pains me to feel like I have to mash buttons to get into the trade window to not run out my drug duration timer on some longwinded NPC merchant's repeated spiel (Percy is one of the worst offenders that comes to mind). Maybe the Survival overhaul will remedy this particular complaint of mine, but I kind of doubt it. And if it were possible to drop the rate of stimpaks in loot to like 5 or 10 percent, I would be incredibly happy. I have to imagine the drop rate can be altered fairly easily, but I'm no modder, unfortunately.

I don't know anything about modding myself, so I'm just going to ask: Would it be possible to make a mod that would pause everything else in the world during dialogues, like it used to be in Fallout New Vegas for example? The fact that everything keeps running in the back while talking glitched stuff out countless times... I've had to repeat conversations so many times because somebody pushed my conversational partner away or whoever I'm trying to talk to just won't stop walking themselves, constantly cancelling dialogue if they get too far away.. I honestly don't have a clue what Bethesda were thinking when they implemented that feature, it is completely broken. It annoys the crap out of me. If anyone could actually bring the game-pausing dialogue back that person would be my hero!

Whenever I search anything there is a 1 to 3 second delay before the menu opens and when i press ESC to pause it can sometimes take up to 7 SECONDS! for the pause menu to open, its really annyoing not entirely game breaking but really fustrating.   15. So, I'm a huge fan of some roleplaying aspects. As such, every time I need to put on armor, I wait some seconds idle, and after that I proceed to equip wwhat I imagined myself equiping seconds ago. Same story for potions. And pretty much everything else. So I thought I might aswell go ahead and make a suggestion for a mod that will make the unable to pause unless by "esc" (the menu). That would make it more hardcore just like in Dark Souls. So, tell me what you think of my idea, and if it has been asked before please. I hope it's possible, although I, not knowing much about the CK, think it must be hard t1o achieve, if not impossible.
  16. I know.. I know.. unimmersive, but if someone takes this on i will donate the hell out of them. Just to clearify im saying that when youre looting a body or chest, anything that opens up a "container". It would be awesome if it paused or froze everything outside of that menu. I did a lot of research : 1) Most of it pointed me towards checking my save file size, which to my dismay turned out to be just a bit under 12 MB. Still i went ahead and ran the save file cleaner tool "ReSaver" and cleared all the "unattached instances". And deleted unused saves from my previous playthroughs. -- Did not fix the issue. 2) Waited 31 ingame days in an interior cell(Breezehome) to reset extrerior cells. -- Did not fix the issue 3) Installed BethINI tweaker and applied all the Recommended Tweaks. -- Did not fix the issue 3) Ran the Script Latency Checker Tool. -- Averaged latency around 90, but noticed that during the freeze the latency could shoot upto 150, but shoorting upto 150 wasn't limited to the freezing, it would also happen as i enter a new area or if due to the graphical mods my FPS would take a hit a few times at certain places. So in short it was inconcclusive. 4) Added SKSE INI with "ClearInvalidRegistrations" -- Now this was odd, i could not get it to work, i installed it using MO2, but when i try to run the same command in game it still gives me the error saying command not found, so many i am not installing it right, your help would be needed. Additional points i wanted to make : I am running the game in Borderless mode The freeze happens every 1 minute The freeze can happen indoors as well as outdoors, it can even happen in menu Similar freeze is also observed when i quicksave the game My PC Specs : ============ Core I7 6700K Nvidia RTX 2080 GSkill 16GB Ram Samsung 970 EVO 1TB NVME SSD MS WIN 10 OS
  18. Hi, is there any mod for pause the game with subtitles? I'm not a native speaker. Some subtitle are too fast for me. Unfortunately I can not pause the game because subtitles disappear. :sad:

I don't know about anybody else but usually when I'm Manual saving in Bethesda games I'm done playing which makes it really annoying that when I do that in New Vegas I kicked me out of the pause menu, which isn't hard just annoying and since I'm modding the heck out of the game already it would be cool if I could find something to fix this.
  20. Hi, First post here!!! \o/ Apparently, cutscenes cannot be paused. I don't think I'm crazy (and couldn't find the button for it), since there are many Steam forums threads about it as well. Suggestion: [Gamepad Back] or [Keyboard Enter]: Pause/Resume Cutscene (what the Mod would allow)[Gamepad Start] or [Keyboard Escape]: Skip Cutscene (keep this existing functionality) What do you think? Is it feasible for a DMC5 Mod to do this?
  21. I'm currently experiencing a bug where archive invalidation causes my game to CTD whenever I pause it. Here's the story: I start playing the game again for the first time in a year, realize my game is crashing when I hit escape. First thing I did was test if it was the escape key or the pause menu by reassigning the pause menu key. Turns out it was the pause menu causing CTD. Then I thought it was something in my load order, so I deactivated every one of my mods with the intention to reactivate them one at a time to figure out which one is the culprit. Turns out it crashes when I pause the game even with no mods activated. Then through playing around I eventually turned off archive invalidation and pause no longer crashed my game. So I arrived at the conclusion that it it was archive invalidation that was causing the CTD. I'm currently using the archive invalidation method: sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\, VIDEO\ instead of the newer method: bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= since the second one crashes my game before it even fully starts up. Please help what do I do?

  23. Hi modders, just wanna see if anyone can make a mod for a Pause hotkey for the main purpose of getting screen shots in precise moments. Currently, how i grab my screenshot is through the start menu and manually pressing "Pause Game" as quickly as i can, and then using ReFramework's free cam to line up my shots. Pressing "pause game" is not really fast enough to get the moments i want and pressing start causes some charge attacks to release and ruining some shots. Hoping theres a single button key Pause mod that can be made to make the game jump straight into a paused state rather than going through the menus. Thanks!
