  1. Hello, are belarussian users now restricted from paying for a Premium membership on the site? When clicking the "Go premium again" button on the site, I'm met with an infinitely loading billing page... I also tried using a VPN - it helped me get to load the billing options section, but there's no Belarus option in the Country dropdown, and selecting a different country then using PayPal leads to an error as well. Using PayPal usually works on other sites for me.
  2. I have a honest confession: I have crippling fear of arthropods (Insects, arachnids, crustaceans, ect.) . This makes games like Fallout very hard to approach. Currently, I'm skating around the problem by using the Zombie Walkers mod by joefor. While it does the job well, It does suck a lot of life out of the game when it's narrowed down to four enemy variants (Ferals, Humans, Super Mutants, and Robots). While I currently (and probably never will) do not have the time to create a solution myself, I decided it couldn't hurt to ask if someone could create a replacement mod for me to spice up the variety in the game. Note: My primary concern are the model replacement and stats. If you should have trouble getting the replaced creature to have proper loot or what have you, then skip over it. Additional notes that regard re-skins are completely optional and not required. The same goes for a 'fail-safe' version of a creature should something break. Thank you for your time. I mapped out the replacements in a rather lengthy list below: Radroaches (Replaced by Rad-Rats) Radroach: Replaced by Standard Rad-Rat Name: Rad-Rat Stats: Same as vanilla Radroach Loot: Same as vanilla Radroach Glowing Radroach: Replaced by Infected Rad-Rat Name: Infected Rad-Rat Stats: Same as vanilla Glowing Radroach Loot: Same as vanilla Glowing Radroach (Note: If you want to make these guys glow green so they fit the name better it is up to you.) Legendary Radroach: Replaced by Plagued Rad-Rat Name: Plauged Rad-Rat Stats: Same as vanilla Legendary Radroach Loot: Same as vanilla Legendary Radroach =================================================================== Bloatflies (Replaced by Feral Ghouls) Bloatfly: Replaced by Rotting Feral Ghoul Name: Bloated Feral Ghoul Stats: Same as vanilla Bloatfly Loot: Same as vanilla Bloatfly Black Bloatfly: Replaced by Charred Feral Ghoul Name: Bloated Ashen Feral Ghoul Stats: Same as vanilla Black Bloatfly Loot: Same as vanilla Black Bloatfly Festering Bloatfly: Replaced by Gangrenous Feral Ghoul Name: Bloated Festering Ghoul Stats: Same as vanilla Festering Bloatfly Loot: Same as vanilla Festering Bloatfly Glowing Bloatfly: Replaced by Bloated Glowing One Name: Bloated Glowing One Stats: Same as vanilla Glowing Bloatfly Loot: Same as vanilla Glowing Bloatfly =================================================================== Bloodbugs (Replaced by Feral Ghouls) (Note: Giving all of these Ghouls glowing red eyes would be a nice touch. Optional.) Bloodbug Hatchling: Replaced by Pink Feral Ghoul Name: Blood-Starved Young Feral Ghoul Stats: Same as vanilla Bloodbug Hatchling Loot: Same as vanilla Bloodbug Hatchling Bloodbug: Replaced by Withered Feral Ghoul Name: Blood-Starved Feral Ghoul Stats: Same as vanilla Bloodbug Loot: Same as vanilla Bloodbug Red Widow Bloodbug: Replaced by Withered Feral Ghoul Name: Bloodletting Feral Ghoul Stats: Same as vanilla Red Widow Bloodbug Loot: Same as vanilla Red Widow Bloodbug (Note: It would be cool to give this variant a slightly more reddish skin. Optional.) Infected Bloodbug: Replaced by Gangrenous Feral Ghoul Name: Blood-Tainted Feral Ghoul Stats: Same as vanilla Infected Bloodbug Loot: Same as vanilla Infected Bloodbug (Note: Like above, expect making this one a more greenish shade. Optional.) Glowing Bloodbug: Replaced by Putrid Glowing One Name: Glowing Blood-Starved Feral Ghoul Stats: Same as vanilla Glowing Bloodbug Loot: Same as vanilla Glowing Bloodbug Vampiric Bloodbug: Replaced by Withered Feral Ghoul Name: Blood-Crazed Feral Ghoul Stats: Same as vanilla Vampiric Bloodbug Loot: Same as vanilla Vampiric Bloodbug =================================================================== Radscorpions (Replaced by Mole Rats) (Note: Mole Rats are the only other enemy that I know of that share the burrow mechanic of the Radscorpion, so it seemed a fitting replacement) Radscorpion: Replaced by standard Mole Rat Name: Invading Mole Rat Stats: Same as vanilla Radscorpion Loot: Same as vanilla Radscorpion Radscorpion Hunter: Replaced by standard Mole Rat Name: Invading Mole Rat Hunter Stats: Same as vanilla Radscorpion Hunter Loot: Same as vanilla Radscorpion Hunter Glowing Radscorpion: Replaced by Glowing Mole Rat Name: Invading Glowing Mole Rat Stats: Same as vanilla Glowing Radscorpion Loot: Same as vanilla Glowing Radscorpion Albino Radscorpion: Replaced by Standard Mole Rat Name: Invading Albino Mole Rat Stats: Same as vanilla Albino Radscorpion Loot: Same as vanilla Albino Radscorpion (Note: Give these guys white skin and red eyes to fit the name. Optional.) Stingwing: Replaced by Feral Wolf Name: Plagued Feral Wolf Stats: Same as vanilla Stingwing Loot: Same as vanilla Stingwing Stingwing Darter: Replaced by Rabid Wolf Name: Plagued Rabid Wolf Stats: Same as vanilla Stingwing Darter Loot: Same as vanilla Stingwing Darter Stingwing Skimmer: Replaced by Vicious Wolf Name: Plagued Vicious Wolf Stats: Same as vanilla Stingwing Skimmer Loot: Same as vanilla Stingwing Skimmer Glowing Stingwing: Replaced by Glowing Wolf Name: Plagued Glowing Wolf Stats: Same as vanilla Glowing Stingwing Loot: Same as vanilla Glowing Stingwing Stingwing Chaser: Replaced by Grey Wolf Name: Plagued Grey Wolf Stats: Same as vanilla Stingwing Chaser Loot: Same as vanilla Stingwing Chaser =================================================================== Mirelurks (Replaced by Gulpers and Anglers) (Note: I don't think it's even possible to replace the Mirelurk Hatchlings - It's fine to leave those guys alone. Do not replace Mirelurk Kings.) Softshell Mirelurk: Replaced by Young Gulper Name: Young Gulper Stats: Same as vanilla Softshell Mirelurk Loot: Same as vanilla Softshell Mirelurk Mirelurk: Replaced by standard Gulper Name: Gulper Stats: Same as vanilla Mirelurk Loot: Same as vanilla Mirelurk Mirelurk Razorclaw: Replaced by standard Gulper Name: Gulper Razorfang Stats: Same as vanilla Mirelurk Razorclaw Loot: Same as vanilla Mirelurk Razorclaw Glowing Mirelurk: Replaced by Glowing Gulper Name: Glowing Gulper Stats: Same as vanilla Glowing Mirelurk Loot: Same as vanilla Glowing Mirelurk Nukalurk: Replaced by Glowing Gulper Name: Nuka Gulper Stats: Same as vanilla Glowing Mirelurk Loot: Same as vanilla Glowing Mirelurk (Note making these ones glow blue instead of green would be great! Optional.) Bloodrage Mirelurk: Replaced by Gulper Devourer Name: Bloodrage Gulper Stats: Same as vanilla Bloodrage Mirelurk Loot: Same as vanilla Bloodrage Mirelurk Mirelurk Hunter: Replaced by standard Angler Name: Angler Stats: Same as vanilla Mirelurk Hunter Loot: Same as vanilla Mirelurk Hunter Glowing Mirelurk Hunter: Nukalurk Hunter: Replaced by Glowing Angler Name: Glowing Angler Stats: Same as vanilla Glowing Mirelurk Hunter Loot: Same as vanilla Glowing Mirelurk Hunter Albino Mirelurk Hunter: Replaced by Albino Angler Name: Albino Angler Stats: Same as vanilla Albino Mirelurk Hunter Loot: Same as vanilla Albino Mirelurk Hunter Nukalurk Hunter: Replaced by Glowing Angler Name: Nuka Angler Stats: Same as vanilla Glowing Mirelurk Hunter Loot: Same as vanilla Glowing Mirelurk Hunter (Again, blue glow - but only if you want to!) Mirelurk Queen: Replaced by Venomous Angler Name: Royal Angler Stats: Same as vanilla Mirelurk Queen Loot: Same as vanilla Mirelurk Queen (Note: The reason I chose these guys is because they too, have a animation of them hiding and popping out of the water that would work very well for a Mirelurk Queen replacement. No weird issue of them sticking out of the water while they are 'hidden'. Hopefully.) Nukalurk Queen: Replaced by Glowing Angler Name: Royal Nuka Angler Stats: Same as vanilla Mirelurk Queen Loot: Same as vanilla Mirelurk Queen (As always, the optional option of making this version glow blue is there.) =================================================================== Fog Cralwers (Replaced by Gatorclaws) (Note: This also should be applied to the unique named Fog Cralwer, Shipbreaker.) Fog Crawler: Replaced by Standard Gatorclaw Name: Gatorclaw Stats: Same as vanilla Fog Crawler Loot: Same as vanilla Fog Crawler Ghostly Fog Crawler: Replaced by Albino Gatorclaw Name: Ghastly Gatorclaw Stats: Same as vanilla Ghostly Fog Crawler Loot: Same as vanilla Ghostly Fog Crawler Glowing Fog Crawler: Replaced by Standard Gatorclaw Name: Glowing Gatorclaw Stats: Same as vanilla Glowing Fog Crawler Loot: Same as vanilla Glowing Fog Crawler (Make this one glow if you can - optional.) 3. I find it rather odd, and not quite fair for the mercs who you hire as companions, you pay them 500 measly gold and they follow you to hell and back. That's not really how mercenaries work, you pay them 500 gold, and after a day or two of adventuring they should ask for there payment for there services rendered. if you can't pay up (and i mean how could you not?) they will leave you. Mercs aren't your friends so if you find them again they will ask for another 500g to rehire them. i mean they have to pay the bills some how, and giving a previous boss a freebie because you traveled together for a few days isn't really or shouldn't be an option, you pay up, or kick dirt. thats kind of how i think mercenaries should be in this game.
  4. Post removed, please don't offer money for mods again. Jim_UK
  5. EDIT: OH GOD SERIOUSLY I WASN'T EVEN IN THIS SECTION WHEN I CLICKED TO MAKE A NEW POST WHY IS IT HERE?! Someone please move this to Mod Suggestions... It has been moved. CONCEPT: I'm honestly surprised nobody's done this yet... I'm looking for a mod to be made where after you tell a [Hold] Guard that you'll pay off your bounty, they take the money and any stolen items... And then leave. As in, you don't get sent 1/2 way across the hold in an instant to the prison despite not serving any prison time. That's it. Just, guard takes the money and items off you (putting them in their inventory optional) and then the guard goes back to their business and you go back to yours. REASON: An aggravating incident kicked this off for me. I was in Markarth on my way to Karthwesten to deliver a sword, which according to the Orismer who gave it to me, was basically a letter saying "I'm angry at you" to her daughter. So I was on my way, when I met a group of Thalmor. Now, I don't like Thalmor... Long story short they didn't survive, and the prisoner they had was set free... I may have also eaten them a little afterward - only the blood, I'm a Vampire not a Cannibal! Well, I arrived at Karthwesten, and just as I'm about to go into the miner's barracks to hand over the bloody huge, heavy sword, "STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMI-ohwaitwronggame... You've committed crimes against yadda yadda you know the deal." So apparently... I did... Something. The bounty wasn't high enough to have been for killing the Thalmor, no witnesses anyway, and nobody saw me... eh, drinking... 40 whole gold... Impressive, eh? So I said I'd pay off my bounty... And... Suddenly, I'm transported back to Markarth, which, if the game was to scale, would probably be a day or more away, except that it happened instantly. Oh joy, now I get to spend another 10 minutes running back to Karthwesten because I don't use fast travel... I just noclippied there because screw that this makes no sense anyway.
  6. Hello guys, I've recently made a comeback to Skyrim & Modding and therefor I updated most of my mods and got rid of outdated/bad ones. But right now I can play like 2-4 hours (sometimes more and sometimes less I guess, It's hard to keep track) and then I will get a random CTD if I load a save(although I can load it quite a few times before it crashes and as I said, VERY random). So my question to you guys is if there's anything fishy about my INI/memory patch/load-order that could be the cause of these random CTD's or just anything else in there that you think is unstable. Please point out as detailed as possible and tell me specifically what to do. Best regards, a grateful Murkrow! PS, if you doubt my word about paying for your work/help then please go to http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/user/8933077-ball11/ and ask him if I'm legit, paid him for helping me several times without problems. And we're talking a 15-25€ game here, so not just some crappy 1€ bin game. 7. Hello, I'm not a modder and I'll never be, my field is social sciences and I play video games. Right now I'm studying about modern work and labor markets and I got interested in the "Creation Club" of Bethesda and their proposal to pay modders for content. I'm pretty sure most of you know what's this about, you all know more about than me, probably. I wondering if any of you have applied to become a "Creator" because while there is plenty information about how "this is totally not paid mods guys, srly", I haven't found too much information about how the payment will be delivered to mod developers or what kind of contract they'll have to agree on. Is there going to be a contract to deliver a certain amount of content? Will the payments be "on demand" depending on content bought? What percentage will keep the dev? I would like to apply myself but as I'm not a modder, I have no content to fill the full form and so far they have not replied my inquiries about it. I'll glad if you can share your experiences with me in this thread. Thanks in advance. If this is not the board to make this questions, I apologize.
  8. !!! Attention terrible english incoming !!! Hello i dont know if this is the right Forum to post this in but I didnt find anything that would fit! I asked this in a support E-Mail a couple times but didnt get a response so maybe here it gains some traction. I've been using Nexus for several years now and i love it. I would love to get Premium and Donate to at least my top favourite Mod Authors but i do not have any of the 2 Payment options available to me. I understand that it is a subscription based plan but i would love to see an option to maybe pay amount X on my account with which i can pay for the subscribtion for a year or 2 in advance and donations. As for the the Methods im thinking of something like : GiroPay, Sofort, Klarna or just the good old debit charge (?, dont know what it is called in english, the normal bank transfer) Hope to hear back and have a good one. *Edit* Forgot to ask this as well: Im still using the normal NMM or nowadays called community edition, would the premium work on there too or is it just for Vortex?
  9. Hello! I don't know if this will apply to anyone outside of Europe, but a few days ago I got back into skyrim again and of course wanted to get mods to make the game better. When I tried 2 days ago (6 times just to be sure) it kept saying payment failed, so I decided to wait a day and check again - it failed still. I thought there was something wrong with my card, but I got in touch with my bank and they said the card was fine, I could go buy things in other places stlll, it was actually because of something called PSD2 Customer Authentication (no clue what is was - still kinda no clue now), and it was up to Nexus Mods to agree to it or something. Again, sorry I don't really know what the whole thing is about and I'm not bothered to check, but my feedback anyway is that it would be worthwhile for Nexus to do this. I'm most likely missing out a load of information about it, and there's probably a good reason for why Nexus isn't agreeing to it (if anyone knows let me know if you want), but yeah, I'd like to buy a premium membership and I can't so I thought I'd find somewhere to say something, thanks!
  10. I purchased premium membership on 20/7 via Paypal and it has been sitting at Payment Under Review ever since (6 days now). Paypal shows the transaction as having completed. Pls help ð
  11. Hello, I am trying to renew my year premium membership via debit card, as it expires today. However, it constantly tells me there is an error, but does not specify what it is. I am in the US, and renewal cost about 24.49 euros, which should be around $30 USD if I am not mistaken, and I'm certain there is no shortage of funds on my part. Could a moderator perhaps help me resolve this issue? Thank you in advance. If it helps, I am trying to pay using me phone, as I cannot get a hold of my PC for some time.
  12. I decided to reinstall Fallout 4 and load it up with a new batch of mods so with that in mind I decided to reactivate my lapsed premium account for the quicker download speeds since things like texture packs can be brutal without it. That was over four hours ago. The invoice page has been sitting on "Payment Under Review" this whole time and I still don't have Premium access. I paid via the same Paypal account I have used every single time I've purchased a Premium membership. I already have confirmation/receipt from Paypal that the money has been paid. Exactly what is there to verify at this point? At this rate I will have all the mods I want downloaded by the time the Premium access actually activates and I won't even need it anymore. What is the deal here? I'm giving the benefit of the doubt since I've never had issues in the past but if this isn't resolved by the morning then I'll be requesting a refund and filing a Paypal dispute.
  13. Hello, I have checked the payment options and was unable to find the IDeal payment option. Braintree does have IDeal as a option why cant i use it then?
  14. This idea was inspired by a recent update to Firefox, so a few other people here might also have seen this. In the last few updates, Firefox removed Tab Groups as a default feature, but it's now a kind of semi-official addon (I don't really know the details, but I don't think they matter here). As a part of this, when you have Tab Groups installed you can go to a specific page detailing the addon (about:tabgroups), and if you go to the About page, you will see this. In particular, I'm interested in that Development Status. Basically, the addon developer is valuing his time in development of the addon at $5 per hour he works on it. When this page was first deployed, he was at about -50 hours (hours loaned, as he put it), he is now at nearly 300 hours "banked" (so over $1500 for the addon development at this point). So to reach my point: I'm wondering if something like this might be useful a way to help incentivize mod donations (and thus help keep mod development flourishing) on the Nexus. Basic idea is roughly the same--mod authors would select a value that they feel is reasonable for their time to develop and then keep a record of the time they spend working on their mods. This development loaned vs banked (doesn't have to be the same terms of course) would be viewable on the mod page(s) (and maybe another that totals time spent across mods for an author). Hopefully people would then have a sense of what the author's time is worth, but without having to do anything like purchase the mod upfront. Any obvious concerns or problems I've overlooked? Does it seem like it would help mod authors in an appreciable way? Would it hurt in any way? Are there any major difficulties in implementation? I'm not really sure how the economics would work out over time. ETA: Maybe incentivize is the wrong word. Promote maybe? Encourage?

Problem reported: The semi-new "interrupter" we get, between asking to download a file and actually being able to do so, is rather clumsily coded in 1990s "every change must be a total page reload" style, and it has a really severe impact on ability to get anything done around here. Steps to reproduce: Just go try to download anything from any mod page, as a generic/average user not a high-tier customer. The entire Files page will reload, and you get the nag screen, then you pick "Slow download", and the download starts. Then to get back to the rest of the files (for most mods of any consequence you need several files), the page completely reloads again. Aside from making the process take much, much longer than necessary, it's a gross waste of bandwidth. Expected result: I get why this "pay us!" nag was put there, but it should be working via Ajax or whatever and simply pop something up without reloading the entire page, then go away after the download has started (without reloading the page again). The old system already used to do this (and parts of the current pages still do – there are all sorts of pop-up elements on this site that don't force a page reload). So it's really weird to me that you broke it just in the course of changing the wording on it and making it bigger to fill most of the viewport. Actual result: Covered above. This has a really bad impact when you're dealing with a mod that requires a dozen or more parts (patches, etc.). Like half an hour of screwing around when it should take about 1-2 minutes. I guess it depends on your connection speed to an extent, but mine's fairly fast, so server speed on your end is also a major factor. And this has to be causing a lot of resource drain on the servers (which means more cost, which means more nagging us to pay – it's a vicious cycle waiting to happen or already happening). Notes: While I get the rationale for doing something somewhat like this, it's not just the efficiency problem that's an issue. The fact that it's using a bogus "Slow download" versus "Fast download" choice is extra-tacky. We all know that "Fast download" doesn't make the download go faster, it goes to a payment form that has to do with user–Nexus relationship, not that file in particular. Higher-paying donors would never see this "interrupt" screen at all, so the presentation of download speech choices is a ridiculous sham. This thing is modelled directly – right down to precise wording and button design – on shady download sites that cater to pr0n and pirated software, which is especially hypocritical given Nexus's anti-piracy position and limits on adult content beyond about an "R"-rated level. It would be way more honest to have a choice between "Free download with [x] speed limit" and "Click here to subscribe for faster service" or something. All that said, I actually did pay, just at a lower tier (enough to get rid of Nexus-unrelated advertising, despite the fact that I could have used any number of adblockers to resolve that for free). It's rather off-putting to be treated like a total leech, especially when I also contribute mods and other content. Try acknowledging that there are different support levels: "We know you're a [whatever kind of member] and have contributed [y] number of mods yourself, but to help defray server costs, only [some less impoverished kind of member] users can get full download speed. Click here to upgrade your membership". Something like that. We're not mindless cattle or robots. I was going to upgrade to a better subscription level a while back already (I'm preparing to do a totally new build-out of Skyrim I expect to use all year, so I need to be on Nexus regularly). But this inefficient and intelligence-insulting nagware screen is so irritating I can't in good conscience reward you for doing this to us. So I've been sitting on my money for a few months and will keep doing so until this thing behaves more sensibly.
  16. I paid through PayPal with my credit card, and I got a confirmation both from PayPal and My Credit card that the payment was successful. Few minutes later I got an email from Nexus saying that the payment was unsuccessful and that I should buy it again. How can I recover my money? What should I do?
  17. Hello, This is a question to see if it is possible to get something implemented. I'm really amazed by the work of some people here and I would like to donate, at least a couple of bucks, to some of them. Sadly, for my country in general and my personal finances in specific, I can't open or use a PayPal account. For example, my currency needs to be converted and that implies an additional charge (and sometimes in more expensive terms) besides the usual charges, so I could end up paying sometimes more to my bank or PayPal than the money that I would want to donate. So, I wonder if there could be an option to donate with other methods? I buy games from Steam with PaySafe Card that's a pre-paid card that I can buy in my country's currency, is there a cheap and easy way to make something similar with another kind of pre-paid cards (amazon gift cards, or something) to make donations? I think that would be great for the devs who make top-notch material here, probably not enough to pay their College, but something to show appreciation besides the comment section. I'll await for any answer, thanks in advance.
