While wandering Diamond City during the in-game date of October 31st, I started hearing various NPCs crying out in pain. Curiously, I started following two men walking side by side when they both cried out in pain. Then suddenly, I took a tiny amount of damage from something invisible to me. I immediately enabled VATS and started searching for a target, but locked on to nothing. Did I just find a ghostly Easter Egg? :ermm:

So yeah! Ghosts in Skyrim are crap-level disappointments and while I've seen people tweaking with stats and skins on them... THEY NEED TO BE SCRAPPED AND REPLACED! Seriously... how is this for a mod suggestion! Totally create a new floating-style ghost creature that only barely resembles a human in form (more like a ghastly twisting mass of ectoplasm like what we had in Oblivion). They would also be surrounded by a thick fog that obscures the monster's form even more and casts and eerie glow on the surroundings... disappearing and going dark from time to time (with only a faint image of glowing eyes visible). They would also make the spoooookiest sounds imaginable of moaning and wailing and groaning and the like! While I do think it would be nice to go back to the scheme of Oblivion where they could only be destroyed by silver or enchanted weapons... I think it would ALSO be a great idea to have another class of these creatures that exist only as phantom images to confuse and bewilder the player. These ones would only be subtly different from the hostile ghosts and would not attack the player nor can they be attacked or killed with any weapon... rather they can only be de-materialized via a Magelight or Turn Undead spell. This would cause a player to be on edge... not knowing what ghosts are just tormenting illusions and which ones are hostile spirits. To be honest I'd almost be fine with just having the non-hostile ghosts to add ambiance and spooky atmosphere to areas too! I think there are all manner of places in the game that would do well with having a population of these things. ESPECIALLY the swamps in Morthal and various ruined structures in the game! Replacing the big disappointing ghosts in this game with something floaty... and spooky... and totally NOT just a re-skinned cop-out of the awful cop-out Skyrim ghosts! We neeeed this sooo muchhh!!!

Mass Effect 2 Mod request/idea Phantom armor
frykas posted a topic in Mass Effect's Original Trilogy
Hi y'all. I reacently stumbled upon an interesting thing during my god knows which playtrough. One of the coolest looking armors in ME1 was definately Nhilus's Phantom Armor. Which didn't make an appearance in ME2. Or so i thought. I stumbled upon a sick turian in Mordin's clinic that apparently wears this armor which shows that there are tex and meshes in ME2. Now I'm not adept enough in modding ME games but maybe someone with more skills would like to give it a go so we could see garrus rocking this thing. Screenshot for proof and reference.-

I find it depressing that co-op is limited to one area at a time, what I'm requesting is a mod that removes all fog gates and/or removes automatic disconnection. Example:I get summoned>We fight boss>Kill boss>Back to my world What I'm hoping for: I get summoned>We fight boss>Kill boss>Continue on

LE Simple mask mod request (Or commission if necessary)
nickd97 posted a topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Hello modelers and modders alike, I come to you today with a request (or commission) of a mod which will incorporate a mask in the style of the Phantom of the Opera into Skyrim for use by the humanoid male player races (Like Nord, Imperial, Breton, Redguard). Examples: http://i.imgur.com/BtsiDmU.jpg http://i.imgur.com/dYeqRVB.jpg http://i.imgur.com/vdhV6kA.jpg NOTE: The mask sits on the right side of the face. So what's the good news you ask? I already have a start on the model for you! (It comes in .obj format, just as a heads up.) Granted, it needs some MAJOR tweaking, for example The forehead is huge, it needs to be snipped down The "string" that would go around the head needs to...go away It may be too long, meaning it may cover the ear It needs to be formed to fit the default character head model It needs material mapping and a texture. The rest I will leave to your expertise. I have already tried these fixes myself but alas, I am no modeler. Note: PLEASE do not comment on this thread if all you have to say is; "Well why don't you do it yourself, its easy!" -My patience wears thin on most things, and this is no exception. after too many roadblocks I figured I'd leave it to the professionals. "Well duh all you have to do is this, this, and this!" -Again, I have NO CLUE how to do those things. I respect you, modders/modelers. I don't know how you turn out such amazing mods. Its magic. It has to be magic. And right now I could use some of that magic. I intend for this mod to go along with a facial scarring texture mod I'm working on. Thank you for reading! Ok, I am really confused as to why there is yet no mod that removes the ghastly glow of our phantom forms. These glow or aura effects act like mozaic censors blurring the awesome detail of our heros. Apparently someone was able to remove some other random aura and glow effects given by specific items here, and it seems all that was done was to replace the glow textures with blank ones. So perhaps all that is needed is to find the ones responsible for the white glow for summons, and black glow for invaders. I know I'm not the only one that's been waiting for this mod... Help us or so help us god!

Kai Leng is a quite lame boss. He has better skills in cutscenes than in actual combat. To make defeating him more satisfying his combat should be modified. He only rushes with sword and sends electrical waves. In letter from Hackett we have informations that he uses same implants like Phantoms, who are really challenging. I suggest to change his combat style to make him a phantom with additional powers electroslash and shield boost as he normally has. I don't have any programming skills, so I leave it to some skilled mod maker. What's your opinions?

They weren't terrible, nowhere near as bad as the bandwagon hopping people like to make it out to be. I prefer them over the original trilogy, that's for sure. It's been a few years since I watched them, but whenever I wanted to watch the movies I would have to watch them in chronological order, like with LOTR. The battles were great, the landscapes were gorgeous, they were all just great movies. The only interesting parts of the originals were R2 and C3PO. Everybody else was boring. If you want to talk about bad __quels to a great movie, look at the Matrix franchise.
