For the first time I created a second profile in Vortex for the same game and I noticed that the mods from my original profile followed into the new profile. They are disabled, but it leaves me wondering if they'll be an issue when I download a collection into the new profile. My suggestion, if it isn't already possible, is to give the option to keep all previously downloaded mods in one profile(not automatically transferring them to a new profile) so the new profile won't create any confusion if new mods need to be disabled or deleted. It would be much cleaner and easier to handle from a user perspective. I understand that once mods are downloaded, they stay in Vortex until properly deleted, but I'm sure there could be a way to partition each profile so they don't interfere with other profiles. Thank you for your time.

I'm trying to use this: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/28902/? with Pinnacle, and everything works fine except the right trigger (attack). Does anybody know of a fix or a different mod for this? I used to play with another Pinnacle profile, but that was for the 360 controller and I don't have it anymore.

Recently I tried to make a profile of my Fallout 4 NMM that had only a few mods, the issue is when I attempted to change back to the profile with my regular mods it gets to the installing part for example "Installing selected mods: Survival Options" and proceeds to freeze and not install or even progress. I tried installing a few mods to see if it helped but did not.

I had over 100 mods installed on my main character, which I haven’t been playing in months. I decided to come back to FO 4 but give a Survival a go with a new character. So I created it and started installing mods (about week ago) and after installing about 50 mods and (testing do I like those, keep those etc.) I decided to change back to my original char (which I had from game launch), and to my horror I noticed that all the mods installed on that char were gone! And what was left was those same mods (about 50) that I installed for my new character. I tried to correct the issue by starting to install those mods which I used on my first char back only to notice that NMM installed those same to my second character too! So every time I make changes to either one of my profiles – are those changes applied to other one too! They are treated as one and the same! Which has totally ruined my saves and keeps on doing that. Top of that I’ve now encountered the mystical FO4 keeps crashing on start-up even without any mods. After doing some research that issue is because there are some leftover mods still installed. No wonder, because NMM shows that some mods are activated (example many of the over 100 mods I had on my main save without showing on that or any other profile) but still aren’t. How did this happen, and the more important question, how do I fix this??? It is seriously 100% game breaking.

I cant download nmm or any mod that have the donate option above the download button I can't login to the forums or change my profile settings. pc info Win 10 Intel dual quad core 3.4ghz 64 bit 8gb ram secured wireless Internet connection I know installing Skyrim SE (steam) has nothing to do with it that is just when the problems started. I am typing this on my old laptop that i installed Linux on. The old ver of nmm kept locking up after finding Skyrim SE I could not down load the new ver I get the start of the circle timer then nothing else happens I uninstalled the old ver of nmm same I can down load mods manually that do not ask for a donation like total character makeover but mods like impressive armors that have the donate option do the same as nmm. I can not change my profile setting, if I add a game to my favorites and hit select the page just refreshes to the way it was before I changed anything. Lastly I can not sign into the forums I get a database error. I usually use Chrome but have tried Firefox and Edge same I have installed tried turning off pop-up blocker, the fire wall changed av then turned it off also all 3 off and still the same. www.nexusmods.com is the only site I have had problems with that I have noticed and I have had this problem sense Skyrim SE was released on Steam I tried on my wifes old laptop that I installed Linux on and every thing works fine other than down loads being really slow. I just cant think of any thing all 3 browsers share that would be specific to this site Any help with this headache would be really appreciated as this issues also affects Witcher 3

steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data has mods in it. Skyrim data files isn't updating to the mods in Skyrim\Data. It is no long using the new mods I put in it. More info: I setup mods, and played with those mods, but kept downloading new mods into a different profile keeping the first the same. In steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data the mods in the chosen profile show up, like they should. When I click to start Skyrim (without SKSE) it opens a menu which says: ->PLAY ->OPTIONS -> DATA FILES etc I click Data Files. Only the mods in my old setup load, changing either profile does nothing. What I meant by data files not updating to the mods" is that it updating the mods it runs to the mods in steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data. Help.

Hello, I have a mod request, So I am aware that there is a Save profile Mod, And i really like this mod, My question is if there was a way To have different Mods load On different Profiles. Say I wanted to play one character in BRAZIL, But i want to play Another on DUST, and so on. Is there a preexisting mod that accomplishes this? If so a Link would be very appreciated, And I thank You for your time. :)

I was doing the "Pieces of The Past" quest, and had just completed it, and it auto saved, then a couple of minutes later I went back to my house where this bug happened, http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3631765-wall-doors-in-lakeview-manor/ , Then I made a new Character. Skyrim crashed as it does when my laptop heats up. I let my laptop cool down, then started Skyrim up, and when I went to find my save, it had deleted? my saves, so I was back at the beginning of the previously mentioned quest and the character I had made all the saves there had been deleted, I f there is no fix and I can't get these saves back, does anyone know why?

Hello Folks. Recently I did a fresh reinstall of Skyrim with Mod Organizer following the STEP guide, but leaving out mods my system can't handle (mostly graphical mods). It worked out well, LOOT found no dirty plugins or missing files, and the game seems to remain stable after more than 50 mods. After I was happy with my base set of mods, I decided to make another profile in Mod Organizer. I copied my base profile and named the new one combat, where I would install combat mods I wanted to try. I installed Dual Wield Parrying 3.1 Beta and TK Dodge 2.0 then tried them out in-game. My Issue: Mod Organizer generated a new mesh folder with a txt file called ~AnimationDataSingleFile.txt in it in Overwrite. I checked the last modified date on this new file and it was 20 minutes after I installed TK dodge, right when I started testing the 2 new mods. I found nothing in google about this file and I'm not sure IF I should merge this with one of my new mods, just leave it there or delete it entirely. http://www.modwat.ch/u/Daetnas I included my LOOT log, but unfortunately I couldn't upload the full ~AnimationDataSingleFile.txt because it exceeds the file size limit, so I included a cut version of it. Thanks for reading this and for the help in advance!

My game crashes on startup when i change to a profile with some uninstalled mods, but when i switch back the game starts up just fine. Thanks for any help!

Okay, nexus had a hiccup and deleted my huge post and I'm too tired to retype the whole thing. I used to use NMM, It couldn't handle some of the esps required for playable SM. So I switched to MO 2.0 from Github, and made a separate profile for the SM character, which worked. I later switched back to my normal profile and it crashed whenever I tried to load my character, usually soon after the object appeared in the loading screen. I tried launching from my desktop launcher which worked. I tried launching again from MO, and tried both the direct launch and the launcher, and one of them made all of my esps disable, this continued to happen whenever I tried to load or launch that profile. I could switch back to the SM profile and it seemed to work correctly. Now I am really paranoid about launching the game, what is happening? how do I fix it? In short, got MO 2.0 one profile works, the other crashes and disables mods. Please let me know if I need to clarify anything of if there are any questions.

Ok, so I've been having some issues with the NMM profile swapping, everytime I swap from my test profile, and back to my normal profile, nmm crashes. Here is the log: Any help would be appreciated

Hi all, I have a maybe weird question.I am using MO and I really love it for its options like have separate profiles. However these profiles working from a common mod pool, and now I have 4 different profiles with 830 mods in total. The problem is: If I have a difficulties with one of my profiles, I have to untick some of the mods, they will go back to the common folder and I will never know again what was the original setup before. This is one part of the problem, the other part is the bashed patch and the reproccers. If I set up one profile with bashed patch and the reproccers (skyre, sum) and switch to the other profile with different mods, different patchers Asis, sum, dual sheath redux, everything will be messed up and I have to do a new bashed patch rerun the patchers and it is just a matter of time for something to go wrong and the whole stuff will turn upside down and explode. Also the overwrite folder is affecting my other profiles as well. So my question is: There is any solution or way to keep my profiles COMPLETELY separate? A second MO or a different hard drive?

Seems her account and all mods are gone. It's like it never existed. Usually modders just hide their mods page when they are unhappy with something. Or you can see mod being tagged by moderator as "under review", if there are certain circumstances. Does anyone know what actually happened? Did she had any private site with compilation of her work or did she decided to disapear from modding comunity?

This is my second third attempt to post this bug report, as it refused to upload for no reason the first time. I am very frustrated that I have to retype everything, so please be patient if I sound upset. I've refreshed the main mods site several times, but it still does not reflect the change in my profile picture, even though the forums site does. The correct one looks like this: But my profile on the main mods site still looks like this: The steps I took to replace my profile picture are: Start from the home page. Click my profile icon in the top-right corner Click "Site Preferences" Click "Change Your Avatar" And I am taken to the forums page, which gives me the option to change my avatar. However, it already reflects the correct image in the forums page. (Crossing my fingers that the report actually posts this time. I've copied it just in case...)

i haven't found any help on the wiki, so i`m asking here how do the profiles on NMM work? for better understanding, i`ll give an example. Let's say i have profile XYZ with mods 123456 i click "new profile", name it ABC (just an example), then all the mods remain the same. Let's say i remove some of the mods, and i remain with mods 123. if i come back to the profile XYZ i will already have listed and active and unchanged the mods 123456? and if i switch back again to profile ABC i will already have selected and installed mods 123 only? i didn't test myself because i didn't want to risk breaking anything through the mods, am i talking correctly what i`m saying here?

Just curious: I changed my profile icon here (the Nexus forums) while trying to change my profile icon for the Nexus mods site. It hasn't reflected the change in the mod site, but it has here, even though clicking 'change picture' redirected to the Nexus Forums... is this just a delayed account change going from the forums to the mod site, or did I overlook something? Any help is grateful, Thanks! **UPDATE** I guess it should automatically update. No further assistance needed. Please close thread.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get a profile.sav with ALL vehicle parts unlocked? The profile editors I've found allow for all room and character cosmetic items to be unlocked but not vehicle parts. Is it possible? What's it linked to?

Hello all, I'm not new to NexusMods or modding, but I've haven't been super active one the forums, only posted a couple of times. So, I'm Kitana, nice to meet you all and I have a crazy question...Wasn't sure where to post it and I feel like a rube for not being able to figure it out myself 'cause it's seems like a serious newbie question... I've wracked my brain trying to figure it out and I've hit a brick wall... I got a wild hair to fill out my forum profile completely and finished that, then thought to myself, hey Kitana, you should go fill out that about section on your Nexus Mods main profile as well... Uh huh... If only it were that easy. Am I completely blind guys and there's some way to edit the about section on the Nexus profile that I'm just not seeing. Granted it's 3am here and I should be sleeping...so maybe that's it, but if one of you awesome and knowledgeable people could throw a girl a bone here I'd be incredibly appreciative. Maybe break it down into baby steps for me, cause I checked under settings, ticked all the down flags in all the sections, kept my mouse as far as possible from that horrifying delete account button, checked all over the profile page itself... At this point I'm just at a loss. Thanks in advance...and please...don't laugh too hard if it's a super obvious fix and I'm just being a bone-head.

I've been uninstalling and settings-messing and digging through bug logs from the past, trying my best to figure out what's wrong. Then, I say, screw it. I un-manage rdr2. BOOM. PROBLEMS SOLVED. WHAT THE FU- Seriously though, you guys need to out a warning or something on, so at least bring it to others attentions.

Changes made to user profiles via the forum do not seem to be communicated to the mod-side of the site. I noticed this yesterday when I changed my settings for Country. Since the effects of the major migration are still being felt, I thought it just might need some additional time to update, but my profile on Nexus Mods still says United Kingdom, whereas the forum profile says United States. I ran another test (you can see it on my forum profile: Testing. 1. 2. 3.) about ten minutes or so ago, and the mod-side of the site still does not feature any of the updated information. There might be more things it's not sending over, but those are the two areas I checked.

Okay, so I have a friend on Steam. When I searched for his profile on Nexus, he's there. The words "banned" appeared under his name. Does this just mean he is banned from talking? Is it supposed to be a vague tag? His most recent activity is from January, but he still plays Skyrim frequently.

When I view my private messages, the mini-profile window says I'm male, but my actual Nexus profile says I'm female. This only happened when I updated my profile, except I'm not a male and I don't want it to show up as that.
