  1. For immersion I have disabled the compass in my "skyrimprefs.ini" but whenever I load into the game, I have to put "refreshini" into the console for the compass to disappear. Any suggestions? Thanks
  2. Dear Forum, i have a little problem that might be quite easy or as well impossible to fix... After reinstalling my windows 8.1 i restored my game saves and mod settings the most simple way i could imagine. I used complete backups of: - Steam Folder in Program Files - My Games and Nexus Folder in User/Documents - plugins txt and loadorder.txt from User/AppData/Local/Skyrim I might have missed the "installinfo.txt" though. The result is that Skyrim with all Mods runs finde, Loot works and has alle the informations it needs and even NMM works kinda fine as far as installing new Mods is concerned.The only thing missing is the NMM Mod-List - and with it the possibility to deinstall Mods. (The plugins-List is ok). So, has anyone an idea how to refresh that Mod-List? Wolud be great! Many Thanks in advance. Forsell
  3. So I have this perfect setup for split screen Skyrim. Basically I run two instances of Skyrim on the same computer with Tamriel Online and the ENBlocal settings for borderless window. Then I use Scott's Window Resizing Utility to make sure each instance of Skyrim takes up exactly half of the screen. Now I have one last problem. Whenever one instance of Skyrim is selected, the video for the other instance freezes. How do I make the video refresh even when the window isn't selected? This way player 1 could play with keyboard and mouse and have his window selected while player 2 plays with a controller without a selected window.
  4. I can't seem to catch a break. "Skyrim CTD on launch, don't feel like dealing with that. Oblivion is spazzing out with conflicts and shaders, putting that on hold. Well, at least Morrowind runs fine! And why wouldn't it? My system is great, and the only thing I added was MGE!" Think again. Booted Morrowind (which was running fine last week) and was slapped in the face with insane tearing. "UGH! Time to troubleshoot this..." [x] Update Nvidia Drivers [x] Force Vsync through Nvidia [x] Enable Triple Buffering [x] Set MGE Refresh Rate to 60 (default) [x] Set MGE Vwait to 1, 2, 3, 4, and Immediate [x] Limit FPS to 60 I'm out of options here. I've checked fifteen sites and all of them suggest the above. None of which worked. Anybody else have an idea? Or maybe I should just toss my PC out a window and go live in the woods. Really tired of this "Fix one issue, find two new ones" BS :mad:

So i modded my game recently and everything has been working great except with one issue where pretty much all merchants i visit that are in cells like Chet in the goodsprings store or Cliff in novac. They are constantly refreshing their stock as soon as i leave their cell and come back. For an example in chets store, i'll see a mod for a laser pistol in the store then i'll leave the cell, come right back in when i'm finished loading and then browse his inventory and all of his weapon mods will be refreshed with completely different mods and sometimes even weapons or misc items. (its usually just weapon mods for the most part). after i buy a said mod i'll come back in and usually he already has a new mod for sale or the same one i just bought for sale or even duplicates of some mod. Same happened with the GRA laser pistol i bought from chet and a bit after i bought one he had another whole GRA laser pistol ready for sale. Is this just a base game issue? I haven't played this game in a while but it just feels off how by leaving and entering a cell u can get different weapon mods EDIT: ok so it looks like after some tests (started a new game in complete vanilla and bought literally everything with console commands lol) that merchants automatically refresh stock on GRA weapons and GRA ammo and randomize GRA weapon mods everytime i go back in the cell. It does not happen to the GRA unique weapons so it has to be a base game thing. i guess i just never realized the game did that before huh
