So recently, my close friend faced an issue that I've been trying to solve for a week now. His save data seems to be partially corrupted, yet the files act weird depending on which PC do we try to load them (in his case, save data is corrupted - in my case, there's no save data according to the game). We've done what we could in order to bring back his ~1k hours of gameplay but to no avail. I followed all the steps mentioned here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2743342837 Yet nothing seems to be working (and also, my friend has never enabled system restore function, so no hope there either). Not to mention, his steam cloud data is exactly the same as the mentioned one. I don't really want to give up here. It seems that (at least outside of modding community) there's little to no actual research on this type of data. That's why I would like to know if there's a way to open these files (apart from hex editor and such) and, hopefully, edit them in order to (A) check which ones are corrupted and either remove/repair them, or (B) change values of a clean save data (data00?Slot.bin and SS?_data00?Slot.bin files) to match the lost progress not to be forced to redo everything again. Don't get me wrong. This game is amazing and both of us like playing it but my friend's progress went way too far to consider redoing it enjoyable to him. Thanks in advance

Hello, I'm new to modding, so apologies for my ignorance here. After my first round of modding Skyrim VR, I found a bunch of other mods to add, but after doing so, my game seemed to reset to lvl 1 and all my save data was MIA. Wondering if this is always the case. I would like to add the voice mod to my game (lvl 22) but obviously don't want to start the entire game over just to add that mod. Currently, I have about 40 mods added. Any info on how mods affect save data is much appreciated.

Hello, I was modding some weapon data through cheat engine such as dmg and adding extra slots to certain weapons, and got locked out of my save file, with the "detected an incorrect value in save data" error. I was wondering if there was any way to recover my save data, or if that save data is gone. I tried watching a movie from the gallery and restarting the game, but that did not work, although I read that it was a fix. Thank you

Hello, and well, i have a problem. first some npcs like Duraz and that hobo who thinks (maybe he is) is rich, dind´t have voices. So i follow the sugestion in the faq on the website of interesting npcs, and make a manual instalation (i did something with the Nexus a long time ago) before it was Interesting npcs in the Nexus. But then i tried to play it, and because i am dumb, i think i have two mod files, on the nexus and inside the Skyrim folder. And after i disabled the Nexus one, the voices come back, but the logs after completions of the two quests i did for some npcs (like the Anum – La one and the conspiracy of the 7000 steps are gone. Now they act like i only meet them now but not before.
