I don't have nor do I ever want an account for an exclusively single player game, but of course Bethesda in their infinite wisdom have decided that what their decade-old game really needed was an unskippable login attempt at every single game launch, even when not connected to the internet, wasting 30 seconds of my life and making me click through multiple menus for absolutely no reason at all EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I can't be the only one who hates this and just wants the game to start at the damn menu like I've had it do since damn-near day one, can I? Yet I could only find one convo on google even bringing it up, and no solution was given. Is there really no mod to skip this nonsense like we can skip the intro logos?

It may be petty, but I get so impatient watching the Merlin Trial animations over and over and over. If there was a "Hold X to skip" prompt, I'd love that.

This is kind of an insignificant request, but I'm not a huge fan of the way the main character stands up from a sitting position when you wait/skip time. I think it's really strange for a student to sit in the middle of the hallway. So, I think it would be better if the character stood there with his/her/they're arms crossed or something like that instead of just sitting there. Or perhaps PROC different animations. A list of possible animations could be: - Standing from a sit (default) - Uncrossing arms - Walking around/pacing - Practicing a spell (maybe briefly activating lumos or Wingardium Leviosa on a feather) - Petting a cat - Closing and putting away spell book after reading it

I recently started getting an unusual error on Stardew Valley where by when a cut scene or event, that has a question during the cut scene/event, happens, the remainder of it will be skipped when I select either of the answers. I have checked that my pointer isn't anywhere close to the skip button and have tried both with keyboard and controller in case of an input device issue. This seems to be happening on any scenes that have a choice within them. I am including a link to my smapi log to show my installed mods: https://smapi.io/log/a1519548cfbd4fec84c9ef7823523c40 Thank you for any help.

Hi, Not sure if theres even people modding Fo3 anymore but, worth a shot i guess. Could someone make a mod that allows you to skip the Vault 101 intro? like, you get born and a message box appears asking if you'd like to skip the whole growing up thing, you click yes and the screen goes black and the character creator appears, you make your dude/chick and then after that the SPECIAL screen appears and you set up your special, another message box appears with a few questions, skip right to the exit or continue? if you hit continue you'll get the questions did you appreciate your birthday?, did you eat your sweet roll?, give it to Butch, tell him no and punch him out?. did you defend or bully Amata? how did your Goat go? (set up your tag skills) did you take your things from your room? (this option you will get your hat/bat/BB gun/pellets Grognak the barbarian comic when you finally finish the questions) Did you Help Butch and his mother from the Roaches? ( if yes you will get his tunnel snakes jacket) did you kill officer Mack**?? or not? (the vault guard at your Birthday if so you will get his armor) did you kill all the hostile security? (you will get all their armor and weapons and bullets when you complete the questions) did you kill vault inhabitants? (Negative karma) did you let Amata kill the guard captain or not? did you kill the overseer or not, did you loot his room? (bunch of bullets and armor/water and a few misc crap) after answering these questions you will appear just outside the vault door. A mod like this would be a huge time saver! Please and thank you XD

Hello! I'm having a problem where any NPC I create and give dialogue to cannot be skipped over. I end up having to sit there for nearly fifteen seconds for every line of dialogue! I'm not sure what the problem is. I know I have the "Make dialogue skippable box" checked for all of them, but that does not seem to fix it. Any ideas? I appreciate the help! DrumMerica

Would be great to start the game, and come back after making a sandwich, to see the "Resume," "Load," "New Game," etc, with me logged in, instead of having to press space and wait for it to log me in, EVERY TIME.... And to skip most cutscenes. I can understand the take offs and landings, and traveling from one system to another, but the rest? The dialogue? Why isn't it all skippable? Especially on the third playthrough... Jesus. There's a ton of unskippable dialogue sequences, a great waste of time to sit through. I play on my phone. Haha. Seriously though. If this can be done, I'll love you forever.

Hey all! My name's Dylan and I recently made the mistake of deleting my character through the game client. I had made a new character so I could recustomize my main character but I used the default name in both cases so when I went to delete one, I deleted the other in my haste. I know this is a stupid thing to do and there isn't really a way to fix this. I tried recovering the files with a program andI did manage to get all of the files back, but some were only partially restored. I sorted through everything and reconstructed my character files and saves, but because of the partial recoveries the game couldn't load the save as it deemed the files corrupted: "Unable to open file. Your file may have been corrupted." on load attempt. This got me thinking... Is there a mod that allows you to manipulate the MyCharacter_story.xml file and others so that you could theoretically generate a playthrough or partial playthrough and load into that game? Please don't comment saying "that's cheating" or "why wouldn't you want to just play the game?" because the idea is for this to help people who have accidentally deleted their character or their files got corrupted. I'm imagining some gui with a list of quests, companions, approval ratings, armor?, etc that you can just check off and it would manipulate the flags in said files accordingly. I know very little of computer coding, so I don't know if this is possible or if it already exists? Thoughts? If it does exist, could you post a link redirecting anyone who stumbles upon this page? Thanks, Dylan

So I haven't played Skyrim in years I re-installed it and without playing first downloaded a bunch of mods, including the "Quick Start - Skip The Opening Sequence" mod. After creating my character and leaving the Caves under Helgen my game crashes immediately. Everything works fine until i try to exit through a door. I even tried uninstalling all my mods and playing the actually Opening sequence but as soon as I try to enter the Helgen Keep it still crashes. So basically whenever i try to enter a new area it crashes. I have no idea what is causing this problem and any help would be so appreciated! Thank you (I have Tropical Skyrim - If that means anything)

I often restart the game to play as another character or test some new mod. Id like to see a mod that after you choose what your character looks like skips to you at the elevator waiting to leave the vault 111. This way when you got on the elevator alternate start mods like "paths of life" would still work and you didn't have to play the whole vault scene over and over and over again. The Mod could come with a couple of options like have cryolator and even skip to outside the vault instead. Just Thinking Thanks Silhouett :nuke:

Hello, as a person who loves a challenge, I decided to begin my Journey in this game on expert survival with permadeath. As you might expect, I die a lot. A lot. A hell of a lot. Not a problem, except that when I start a new game, I have to listen to the unskippible exposition/prologue and play through an unnecessary tutorial. Anyone think they could make it to where new games start right at the Village cave? With the mission "Deep Wounds" starting? I love this game , but this opening sequence is torturous , even for a permadeath game. Thank you to anyone who look and/or replies.

Like the mod Skyrim Unbound, I wish for a mod that would just erase the main quest and every other thing that indicates you as a vault dweller or your son Shaun. Basically lets your roleplay as any character you want... also muting the player and zooming the dialogue camera into the face of the character you're talking with locking it that way ... plz

Sometimes I get bored with my character and want to start anew. Sometimes my game bogs up and I have to start from scratch anyway... And nothing irritates me more than having to do the Main Quest all over AGAIN. I know I could download a save file with the MQ completed; but most of the time that player levels in a way, or completes quests with gameplay decisions I don't agree with. Many saves I've tried have also conflicted with Perma. Several of the mods I play with also demand a NEW save game- Legacy of the Dragonborn in particular. I would LOVE a mod that made it possible to skip the MQ entirely (edit: after Alduin is defeated). Perhaps a script that went through all the quest stages and marked them as completed, and adding the necessary quest rewards (spells/weapons) to the pc's inventory? Maybe other questlines as well? Might be possible.

I know we are still waiting (patiently) for the creation kit to drop, so that we can get started on REAL modding for Fallout 4, but when it does drop, someone should really look into making a "mantling" mod. E.G....The NPC animations for climbing over railing and small walls. I find this would be a very nice Immersion mod to add. Thoughts?

I was wondering if someone can make a mod that skips the intro when you are playing the warrior male and fighting the chimera and go to character creation instead. I know it is pretty cool but redoing kind of gets old when you want to start a new game. If there already is one can you provide a link? Havent found anything like that yet.

I want to skip the opening sequence. I tried doing this on my own and made some mediocre progress, but it kept breaking the game. There are some files out there that are just savegames right before the character generation stage. The problem with this is if you have mods that require a completely fresh game without any saves. Basically, what I am trying to do is have the game start right before the race menu pops up. This would be after the caravan is already at Helgen, Ulfric and Ralof have been called up, and Lokir is dead. Or, Lokir could be left out entirely because he does nothing. What I had in mind was that the game opens and Hadvar says "Who are you?" and then you go from there. But, these are just suggested details - as long as the game starts right before the race menu, that is fine. I realize that this is difficult because the opening sequence is so heavily scripted. But, is this possible? Can anyone do it?

I would like someone, anyone to make something like http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42155/? for Lonesome Road. I hate LR with a passion but like the things it adds, so something like this would allow people like me to get the cool gear and ED-E upgrades (and pretty cool backstory for him, the only good writing in the DLC) without dealing with that horrible slapped together mess of a DLC. I request a skipper like this because I know that the effort to take all the good elements of LR and drop them into a new space with a good story would be too much work, though that would be me favorite option; a good story made to replace the garbage we got with LR but with the same world space.

I used to play Skyrim on my PS3 but now I'm playing on the PC with mods for the first time. Is there a way to avoid playing through all of the guild quest lines again without missing out on the items, benefits, and storyline/game changes? Perhaps a mod? Or would I have to do this through console commands? (which sounds tedious and possibly game breaking...) I'm interested in playing with mods that introduce a class system that rewards me for playing multiple characters. Replaying things I've already done over and over doesn't sound rewarding...

Everytime i look at the new Mods for Skyrim i think:"Should i reinstall it? Start to play it again?" but then i think about the Main Quest, fighting Alduin and how long it takes to just complete this Quest. If i dont finish the Quest i always have in mind, that somewhere in skyrim alduin is around and works on his plan to destroy the world. I could just ignore the quest but that wouldnt be the same, i dont want to play the game like this. So here's my Mod idea: A simple mod that skips the main quest The player starts a new game, creates his character and spwans somewhere in skyrim,he then proceed to explore the beauty of the nature and stumbles upon a lot of adventures. i hope i managed to describe my idea as simple as possible thanks in advance Dek0

Before I say anything, I tried the skyrim nexus for around 15 minutes trying to find this, cause basic logic told me this kind of thing had to exist. Basically, I want a mod that just starts you outside the end of the tutorial section, outside that cave after helgen. Then the game gives you two choices, stormcloak or imperial, basically they emulate you taking the path of one or the other, then you get the racemenu. When done, you do whatever you want, the game thinks you just completed helgen. The reason I want this above savegames, is because I want to actually make my character, and savegames are more annoying to manage, essentially.

I'm fairly new to using mods, and I recently realized that my updated version of fallout (Ultimate Edition- KaOs) entirely skips the launch menu and goes straight to the in-game menu, so I can't monitor/manage the downloaded content I've loaded up for it. The game plays just fine, no issues saving or anything. It really wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't trying to access the new files. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance guys. UPDATE: Wow. I hadn't been aware that the launcher was in the program file along with the startup. All cleared up.

I noticed on a number of major quests the player is unable to "tab out" of a conversation. I'm making a quest with several lines of dialogue and I was wondering if anybody knows how to prevent the player from exiting from the conversation abruptly. Basically I want the player to finish the dialogue before regaining control of their character. Many thanks in advance.

I'm not 100% sure if anyone has already asked for this, but I think a mod that would let you skip over radio songs on a station and force it to the next one would be great. We all love hearing Johnny Guitar 46,853 times in one game session. and in my case using TTW, I do appreciate the instrumentals, but once in a while it'd be nice to hear pieces with lyrics besides "Let's go Sunnin' " and "Crazy (he calls me)". Hopefully the latter with TTW supported won't be too hard, but I just change values in the GECK, so I wouldn't really know. If there is already a mod that does this then I'm sorry for making a redundant post, haven't been on forums lately.
