  1. there is a desire to open the Skirym map independently, without hints from the Internet, traveling on the map sometimes the same places are visited several times, some are remembered and I remember that I was here, and some pass by without attention, and here is the question, is there such a mod to track the character's path, for example, like in Legends of Zelda BotW
  2. Can someone do a mod to track quest directly from the map without having to go in the mission menu. Something like highlight the quest from the map and then clic to track it. Thanks
  3. Hello everyone. This an O.S.S. ! I'm not a huge fan of this system of tracking recipe, so I don't use it, but, I may have miss click somewhere, somehow, whatever and now I have four specifict item tracked without possibility to untrack because, I know what I am tracking !! So, if someone, know a mod, a console command or anything that can help me without losting my time by search, through all the modifications of all weapons, armors and jetpack and also, through alll building stuff from outpost, I'll be thankful ! I hope I am understandable in my way of writting. Goodbye. [edit] The four tracking items are : - Positron battery - Lubricant - Polymer - Titanium
  4. Hello all, I'm not sure if this is possible in-game but I've tried disabling all the trackings I found and yet when I start some main quests the markets in the map will automatically set the path to get to that destination. The mod would prevent this from happening automatically, instead of having to manually disable tracking in the quest log (in some cases it's not possible, depends on the quest, it says "abandon quest" instead of stop tracking) Thanks
  5. I would really love some help -- perhaps education -- on some scripting because I'm just running out of hair everywhere with this. I’m basically wanting to add a tracking/location marker — a quest pip — a custom NPC much like you see in the Inigo and Sofia follower mods. I used the Sofia follower mod as a reference. The mod doesn't come with the PSC source file so I used Champollion to decompile the relevant PEX file to get the script code. I've done some research everywhere and found some ideas, tried a couple of suggestions but have had no success -- the quest just doesn't fire up in my game. I want the script to work much like how the Sofia follower mod works. A Misc objective pops up on the screen as soon your game loads,A Misc objective that displays in the journal and can be turned on and off (of course) and basically shows a marker/pip over the follower when it is on, and not when it is off. Click here to see a shared document that might help anyone to help me with my issue. This script below will compile with no issues but the quest/message doesn’t seem to fire up when I startup my game. Scriptname QF_JWDKyrenthiaMarkerQST_05034CDF Extends Quest Hidden ReferenceAlias Property Alias_JWDKyrenthiaALIAS Auto Function Fragment_10() self.SetObjectiveDisplayed(1, false, true) EndFunction Function Fragment_8() self.SetObjectiveDisplayed(1, true, true) EndFunction I also tried creating a SEQ file in SSEdit -- it created but still no workie. Any kind help would be appreciated!
  6. Alright, so this idea is similar to "Where are they now" by Kentington, "where are my provisioners" by drdanzel, and mainly "Tracking marker" by GovnoWriter and expands on them. (NexusMods) Basically, you use a misc device (prop could be the Transponder or the Beacon from the Chinese Ghoul's Nukes), or even armor based device that must be equipped and drop it into an NPC's inventory. Each tracker could have its own number, similar to the Beacons from "Create Followers" by tofudwarf. You could even rename the item. Then, you can use a holotape to click witch trackers would become active as quest markers and witch are disabled, possibly showing the name for each beacon you set or just by number. Finally, you can click a beacon and teleport the NPC to you, and even make a group (maybe multiple groups) for teleporting multiple NPCs. "Where are they now" by Kentington, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7903 "Where are my provisioners" by drdanzel https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7835 "Tracking marker" by GovnoWriter https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22342 "Create Followers" by tofudwarf https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21866
  7. Is it possible to sort or group mods in tracking centre? They all mixed :S
  8. Hello, it's my first post on Nexus Forum. I have very disturbing issue with one of mods. I am quite sure that this is effect of mod called "Simple Archery", but i'm not sure. So when i am fighting, shot to somebody from bow, the cursor is autotracking my enemy and it doesn't matter that i am trying to turn right or left, or turn around and run away. It is not only the archery problem, but every type of fight. I noticed that pressing "z" turns off this autotracking issue, but it automaticly turn on, when i hit any enemy or npc again. It is stupid, annoying, and unimmersive, and i hate this thing. I tried uninstalling several new mods, also "simple archery", but it doesn't change anything. I think it depends on some small specific file, which was changes by installing mod, and uninstalling is useless right now. Anybody can help me? Did you have the same issue?
  9. It's a simple idea I believe. You have a blank book and every time you learn a new property of an alchemical ingredient, it gets recorded in the book for reference later when you are thinking on what ingredients you need to farm / go searching for etc.
  10. Howdy Nexus: I am a bit new to the whole idea of a forum, so let me first say: If I have posted this in the wrong place, please let me know. I ask because this is less a question about Skyrim Mods, and more about a possible addition to the Nexus website. Or if I have made any other blunders in my internet community noobishness, let me know. I am always willing to learn. With that out of the way... The point of this post: --- Comment Tracking Anchors --- Premise I have over the past few months been much more vocal here on the Nexus, mostly commenting on pictures, or mod pages with my thoughts. At first it was fairly easy to remember what I had posted where, and so I could easily go back and check to see if any replies had been made to it. Or, I made a comment that was rhetorical and so had no interest in going back to see if a reply had been made. Problem Now however, I might make 20+ comments in one day on a wide variety of pictures or mods. So my problem is that there seems to be no good way to keep up with those comments, except by remembering where they are. It is entirely possible that I am blind, and the Nexus already has a system in place for this, if so, let me know. So I end up spending quite a bit of time tracking those particular images down in order to find my comments to see if anyone replied. Or on a mod page, sometimes the forum is blowing up and my comment will simply get lost among them all, and it takes some time to find it again. Solution? I propose that a good way to resolve the issue of my forgetfulness (and hopefully enhance the Nexus as a whole) is to have a little anchor icon next to the Reply | Edit buttons called "Anchor" or "Follow" or something of the sort. The intent being there be an easy way to add a comment to a watch list that would give me update notifications similar to the Notifications and Messages that are already in place. As a side note, if this were implemented it would be good to also add the option to remove the anchor, so you don't get notifications about stuff that no longer interests you. Similarly perhaps there could be some settings on each users profile page for "Anchor Expiration Time" with a drop down box giving options like "Delete Anchors after X days/months." --- ----------------------------------------- --- This is me just throwing ideas into the internet, so take it for what you will and feel free to leave your thoughts or suggestions. Also, if you found this post easy to read/comprehend (read=visual, comprehend=understand) or not, let me know. I always appreciate a mod page that is well laid out, so I want to follow suit. Attachments: I whipped up two little examples of what I imagine this looking like.
  11. I have a very limited amount of knowledge about scripting but know the basics. I'm looking to make a script for a armor piece that: OnEquip would check the players standing with all the factions that track crime, and if they go above a certain level they are auto reset to 0 How would I go about doing that? a gamemode script that checks everyframe while wearing the armor? i'm not sure on the exact structure but i feel it is doable...
  12. When a user tracks a mod page, they should get updates for various changes to that page, including when a new file is shared. At present this is not working as intended. Users who are also currently tracking a mod are still getting notifications after untracking it. The following should be working: Adding a new file Adding a new article Adding a new comment (both from the uploader and someone else)
  13. So the tracking center is pretty pathetic - Why can I not sort via mod category? Why can I not filter mods by tag/category/author/name? Fix this and I will start buying premium.
  14. I was wondering whether there would be any consideration to making a category system for tracked mods on the nexus. That way you can separate all the mods that are being tracked by certain catagories.
  15. Hi, I've been experiencing issues where I noticed that I am not being alerted to some of the most recent updated files. Perhaps it has been going on for longer, but I've noticed it since the past two days. The first instance is where I was not notified about an added file to 4K Parallax Retextures. Another happened today when I was only notified that Seranaholic added/replaced two files when the author had in fact added/replaced four files. Thanks, - Zero
  16. Is there a way to stop tracking all mods at once or more than one at a time?
  17. Hello, I'm just wondering if there is a link on our own personal profile where we can view our previous comments made on a nexus mod page? It would be extremely useful, let's say, if you posted a question on a mod page so that you could go back and check if there was a response. Or even better would be nice if you could subscribe/unsubscribe from your personal thread (I don't want to be notified every time someone makes a comment on a mod page, just if someone replies to the thread I'm subscribed to).
  18. I've wandering around for 44 levels. After using the 'z' command, 'net of souls', I've found zero other souls. :p I need that spell changed. For the same length of time, it gives a compass tracking pointer to the nearest soul. You can keep recasting it, until you find one. Then, use this simple functionality to find them all, without all the souls being tracked with quest markers. This is simple and far less frustrating than the vanilla version. Thanks...
  19. Man it'd be great If we could sort our 'tracked files'. I use the tracking feature to not only keep up with mods I've already got, but also use it as a way to flag mods I plan on trying but haven't downloaded yet. I know a lot of folks probably use the tracking center in this way as well. There's nothing like browsing the Nexus on my laptop or phone while I'm at work, school, church, DMV, ect... and flagging files I'm going to download when I get home. As of now the default sorting is by "last upload" date (last update) all you'd really need to do is add a selection between that and "date tracked" or "added to tracking centre" (date). I think this would be a great feature and would only take a few lines of code. Alternatively, you guys could go a step further and just merge the "Tracking Centre" and "Download History" with the feature mentioned above, plus any others that come to mind and just rename it "Download Centre" where you could untrack, endorse, ect. Though that'd be a lot more involved and complex. Thanks!
  20. Hello, I just deleted all the old mods that I was tracking to clean up for the new STEP. However, when I add a mod that was previously being tracked, I get an error saying that the mod is already being tracked. My tracking center is empty. Is there a certain time limit for this to reset? I have cleared my browser cache and history. Please Help. It turns out just to be BOSS. I can track every other mod, just not BOSS. On a side note, it would be nice to have a "check all" feature in the tracking management page. Thanks, Jnipz
  21. Hi! So I went into my Skyrim nexus tracking centre today after many many weeks of just adding mods to Track. And I thought, "It would be fantastic if I could sort them in the order they were added to the tracking centre." And that is it really. Hopefully I'm not the only one that would find that useful. I feel like it would really help since I got 8 pages of tracked mods. And after a while it can be tricky to find that one you added 3 weeks ago when it sorts it after when they were last updated. Wim
  22. Can we get some basic options beyond Tracked/Not Tracked? I follow many great modders, but a handful tend to post excessive amounts of images. That's fine on its own, but I don't need the notification spam. If I have a stack of say 30 notifications, 20 will be image dumps and 5 will be "X game was added to Nexus!". I don't mind the site's auto messages (I wish management would use it more actually), but the whole system is super clunky, so sorting through all the image posts takes forever. It honestly keeps me away for the site for much longer stretches, since I'd rather take 15 minutes to deal with the whole backlog than tediously pick them out a few at a time. An option to choose what we get notifications for per author would be great. Like Mods, Images, Forum Posts, Updates, Etc... /Only or /All
  23. Is it possible to add that? Maybe by downloads too.
  24. tldr Show amount of people tracking a mod like endorsements and downloads are. You often times see mod authors ask for endorsements as a means of motivation and really if you think about out of the three ways to tell if a mod has user interest only two are shown; downloads and endorsements. I think it would be neat if all three forms were shown to encourage mod authors and users.
  25. As the title says, tracked files that have been hidden can't be removed from my tracking list. Help?
