Hey guys, i have a question. How difficult is to create a new armor mod to Valheim? I creating a wolrd based on Dark Souls 1 and want to go even deeper. I think the best way to it is to adding some Dark Souls armors, it could be just changing textetures from the existing one don't matter. Can someone help me?

There was once a mod called MagicOverhaul that added classes to the game. Such classes included wizard, rogue, berzerker, druid, and many more. Each class had four actives and a passive ability. They had their own gear, weapons/armor. I tried to download this mod just yesterday but to my surprise, the original, english upload had been deleted. The translated versions are still available, but the original has bit the dust. I'm hoping someone can reupload it with the permission of the original creator, or create an entirely new mod that adds similar content to the game. In my humble opinion, adding classes to the game in such a manner gave the game an mmorpg feel, which i rather enjoyed. I also enjoyed having access to abilities that didn't require resources to use after obtaining the class. My personal favourite was the druid, for one active ability in particular. The ability to turn into a bird and fly around for a limited amount of time. Free flight without the use of the console cannot be underestimated and it just made my game all the more fun. Alas, this mod does not exist anymore in it's original language so i'm sad that this unique content has vanished. If another mod of this sort exists and i didn't know of it beforehand, please let me know about it, i want to soar in the skies again, feeling the wind rustle through my feathers, feeling that unique sense of absolute freedom that no landbound creature can enjoy...

Since InvisHelm got broken by the latest patch, I was wondering if someone knew if it would be possible to make a mod that allows hiding the helmet and the cape independently from one another. Or at least the helmet again. Cheers, friends.

After the update for Mistlands I started receiving an error code about Stamina Bar no Stamina Flash. I am not able to build and the error script runs continuously until I log out or quit. Can anyone advise on how to solve this issue. I understand it may be a UI issue but I have tried multiple times to single out mods and still have the issue. Thank you for any and all advice on this matter.

I played last night and it was fine, i have 27 mods installed. Today i went to play but got this error. I dont know which mod is doing it. I tried runing them one by one and they rune fine by themselves but the moment i activate more than 1 mod it gives me this. Also the menu and every word has a dollar sign before them. HALP!

I just saw today that all the Balrond mods were deleted. What happen? Did they move to Thunderstore or did he get banned?

Since I updated Valheim via Steam, I cannot load the game anymore. It always loads up to the same point an crashes without warning or pop-up-message. -see attached screenshot. I have sevaral mods installed, like Valheim plus, and some others. But since I am a total noob, I was not able to figureout a ways to play again. What do you guys need to be able to help me start the game again? Cheers, DeSaesch

Hello, I model in Blender and I would like to try to make some objects for Valheim. Could you indicate me a procedure ? A tutorial on how to import/test my models? I'm a beginner in modding and I don't know at all the tools to import objects or put them in the game. Sincerely.

I ended up installing the Mount Up mod where you can mount a Lox or any tamable animal and I had the idea to pair this with the Beasts of Burden mod where you can attach a cart to them, so I decided to attach it to the Lox but sprinting with the Lox through the wilds with the cart is incredibly difficult lol, I know I could build a path but it would be awesome if someone could make a mod to turn off collision for carts so I can hop on the Lox and sprint with the carts to each Node with ease, just an idea.

I'm not really sure how to search for this, but is anyone aware of a mod that would extend the catch-up mechanic (used in crop growth and smelting to simulate progress based on the passage of time) to animal breeding? If not, does anyone know how achievable this might be?

I don't know how to mod, but I think if someone was able to make a mod that illuminates signs so they can be easily read in the dark, it would be a big hit in the community. Maybe crafted using surtling cores or maybe the crystals that golems drop since they're not yet used for anything, plus the usualy sign materials.

A ward mod that prevents unpermitted players from breaking any structures within the wards radius, excluding doors/gates/chests. I run a 50 player dedicated pvp server and would like to protect builds without stopping the ability to raid someones base. This mod would only affect players, mobs could stick attack a base as per usual. Looking forward to finding a dev!

Edit: Im just going to cut losses and uninstall everything. again. I realize this forums is not that active, so I doubt ill get a timely response. Last night I downloaded a few mods, mostly just a texture pack, and BuildShare (and like 4 builds that i wanted to try to use) and a berry planting mod. The game worked perfectly fine before I turned off my computer, and now the game doesn't even boot up, all i get is a little window with the valheim logo with a red exclamation mark on it? I have no idea what this means. Game doesn't start when I boot it up from Steam or from Vortex. I really hope someone out there has had this issue and can maybe help me because my only other option is to just uninstall valheim (which I did just yesterday just to be "clean")

I think wolves are cool pets (they are my favourite animal, actually), but I think they need a little rework or, at least, a "buff". These are the ideas I've taken from my own and some other requests: - Make the option to mute the sound of tamed wolves. - Make te option to prevent wolves to breed. - More "tanky" wolves, so they receive less damage from other enemies and players. - Tamed wolves that are following you are inmune to your damage, so you can avoid killing them accidentally. - Tamed wolves that are NOT following you could actually die from your hits (so you can get their loot if wanted). - Wolves that are following you can teleport with you through portals. - Wolves that are following you can teleport aside you when you go too far away from them (so they stay with you almost always, like in Minecraft). - Wolves, once tamed, don't need to eat to survive, only to recover health. - Wolves can attack other players if they damage nearby structures (when PVP is enabled, at least). These could be toggleable, so you can configure this mod as you like (for example, if you want them to stay always with you and resist Fuling's damage, but dont want them to keep mating constantly). I hope someone can work on these and make our man's best friend a little stronger and loyable. Thanks for reading!

I guess if it would possible to spawn villages just like the game spawn abandoned houses. The idea is to spawn small villages, (3 or 4 houses) with NPCs that could be friendly or hostile and them could ask to the player to clean dungeons or sell goods. I can help with Unity, I'm pretty experienced in game design and... stuff, but I'm not able to create a mod like this by my own, so I'm looking for buddies that can help with the harderst part. :happy:

Huge ask, figured I'd throw the idea out there, maybe someone in the future would see this request as something they'd like to make. Dual Wielding swords in another idea. I have no idea how to code/mod otherwise I'd try.

I was wondering if a skilled modder could make it so that the game allows you to build inside a Troll Cave? They are so spacious, and so cool! Outside of building a fire inside, you aren't able to build anything else. As of right now, building a crafting bench and other buildables is disabled.

Making behavior of picking items and adding them to inventory more fluid. things like plants, stones, items on racks...etc. are added to inventory on pick instead of pick, pick up item off ground. The pick up range is buggy and annoying. Would like honey, (for example) to go to my inventory upon interaction with beehive. Not after it falls off a cliff and I have to chase it down. (Please inform me if this exists already) <3 you modders for keeping the game interesting

Good day! Would really like to see a functional railway and wagonet system, like Minecraft one. I saw some players building stations, railways, and I really think I need one too, but I want it to be functional. Maybe any projects already in process?
