Hello fellow Oblivion addicts, So i was trying OneTweak (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40706/?) to get oblivion to run in Borderless windowed mode. Everything worked fine and all but than i realised that Vsync doesn't work in oblivions windowed mode. Even with ipresentinterval=1 in the oblivion ini, it won't work. I tried capping my fps to 60 using oblivion stutter remover but it doesn't seem to have that same effect as Vsync. So my question is: does anyone know a way to enable Vsync while using windowed mode or is that even possible? I really appreciate any help you can provide

So when I install OBSE, Oblivion stops entering appropriate fullscreen. I have a 720p tv running 1440p superscaling. When I run in 720, "fullscreen" is a window that covers 2/3 of my desktop. When I run in 1440p, The window is so large I can barely read the title text at the menu, let alone do anything. If this is some joke "fix" for lock-ups while alt-tabbing, I hope the dev chokes as this should be left to us. Please help, this is BS and I want to play my classic fave stutter-free and pretty. Any help would rock.

So I have this perfect setup for split screen Skyrim. Basically I run two instances of Skyrim on the same computer with Tamriel Online and the ENBlocal settings for borderless window. Then I use Scott's Window Resizing Utility to make sure each instance of Skyrim takes up exactly half of the screen. Now I have one last problem. Whenever one instance of Skyrim is selected, the video for the other instance freezes. How do I make the video refresh even when the window isn't selected? This way player 1 could play with keyboard and mouse and have his window selected while player 2 plays with a controller without a selected window.

Hey guys, So I installed ENBoost (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/332/?) and everything worked fine, got a nice solid frame rate most of the time, but there are still problems that ENBoost didn't fix and I can't figure out hw to fix it myself; I just recently managed to make my color adjustment from the NVIDIA control panel persistent, even with fullscreen gaming (before it would always turn off when starting a fullscreen appllication). How I did it: So I changed Fallout 4 from borderless to fullscreen, disabled all vsync ingame/in enblocal and forced VSync via NVIDIA control panel (tripple buffer=off, prerendered frames=1). This made my game much smoother so dips down to 50 fps wouldn't cause stutter like they did in borderless (even after I installed ENBoost). But then again this left me with the known bug that in fullscreen mode you get terrible microstutters (not hardware related->persistent at 60fps) when strafing/circling. The two fixes for this, that I found were turning to borderless (want to avoid that) which gives me an overall more 'stuttery' experience or to add the line 'iFPSClamp=60' under [General] in the fallout4.ini but a lot of people report fps bugs with that (being stuck at terminal, slowdown etc.). So atm I'm not able to find a proper workaround using; -RivaTuner -> capping the frames at 60 for windowed borderless -> not so smooth feeling, -ENBoost using fpscap and or forcevsync in enblocal.ini -> same results as with RivaTuner/ingame VSync (slightly better fps than with ingame VSync), -NVIDIA VSync (tripple buffer off, prerendered frames=1), -ingame VSync (ipresentInterval), borderless windowed/fullscreeen mode All got major advantages and disadvantages. So, is somebody here able to run this game full screen without micro stutters?

So here's what's been happening: I tried to load Skyrim in windowed mode a single time, found it really irritating, and switched my setting back to full screen. However, when I try to play Skyrim now, what happens is a sort of fullscreen-windowed-mode hybrid. Essentially, Skyrim launches in fullscreen, except with a large black bar at the top and bottom of the screen. This bar accounts for about 30% of the entire screen, and produces a bit of a visual squashed effect on the game. This is an intolerable way to play Skyrim, and as I have no idea how to fix it. I'm pretty much totally unable to play the game for the moment, without being entirely unhappy, anyway. A swift reply with a solution to this issue would be very much appreciated.

So i just installed Skyrim on my new laptop, and considering it's an weak machine, i turn all the settings to the lowest options possible. When i start up the game, it's very choppy with a framerate of about, i'd say, 10 fps. I decide to download an mod called Ultra Low Graphics which sets the graphics even lower. I install the mod, and when i enter the game, sure, the graphics are different but the framerate is the same. Even the lowest settings possible which look like crap have the same framerate. I then try windowed mode, and the game runs stable even without the mod, at about 30 fps. Ram 4 gb GPU : GeForce GT230M and GeForce 9100M G (laptop supports Hybrid SLI which doesn't work anymore sadly, even when i download the older drivers that supports it) CPU : Pentium® Dual-Core CPU T4400 @ 2.20 GHz Thanks in advance, some info on the Hybrid SLI technology would be nice.

Hi guys, I'm experiencing a very weird issue. When I start Skyrim it is in windowed mode, and from what I can tell it's about 360px wide, tiny. Normally I use the SKSE launcher, but I launched TESV.exe so as to change the resolution back to normal. However, it's not even loading the splash screen anymore, TESV goes strait to game. So currently there's no way for me to change the resolution back. I haven't installed any new mods lately. I'd really like to avoid re-installing and applying all my mods again. Anyone heard of this situation before? Thanks for your help!

Hello, so: I havne't played Skyrim in a few months. I've always used Mod Organizer to launch the game with SKSE, and a few days ago, windowed mode stopped working. When I use MO to launch SKSE, this is how it appears: http://i.imgur.com/zVPt3nh.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/p8Ctc1p.jpg this happens regardless of whether or not I launch SKSE through MO, or manually through the Data folder. however, when I launch Skyrim in any other way, it works: be it through MO or through Steam directly, windowed mode works as normal: http://i.imgur.com/GgvVXHM.jpg I have uninstalled and reinstalled Skyrim, MO, and SKSE: nothing works. Does anybody have any idea how to fix this? I need SKSE for my mods, but I don't really like playing full screened either.
