Who can join F4F’s programmes?

F4F’s programmes are open to young people, youth workers, educators, trainers, and organisations looking for opportunities to learn, grow, and collaborate. Most international youth exchanges are designed for those aged 18–30, though exceptions may be made for participants aged 13–17 if specified in the call. Trainings usually do not have an upper age limit. Priority is given to individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds and those facing limited opportunities. For international activities, a basic level of English is usually required. Some programmes may also request a specific professional background, depending on the topic.

How can I apply for an international exchange or training?

All new project calls are published on F4F’s social media channels – Instagram, Facebook, and Telegram. Each post includes a link to an application form with detailed information about the project, requirements, and deadlines.

Are F4F programmes free to join?

Many of F4F’s programmes are funded by EU initiatives, meaning participation is free or partially funded. Specific details are available in each programme’s description.

Can I join F4F as a volunteer?

Absolutely! If you are eager to gain experience while contributing to meaningful activities, F4F welcomes volunteers who are motivated and proactive. Whether you are interested in supporting the team as a photographer during events, greeting guests and participants at local activities, editing videos, running the YouTube channel, or offering a skill you believe could benefit the work — do not wait for an official call. Even if no specific volunteering opportunity is currently open, F4F is always happy to consider dedicated individuals who want to get involved.

Can F4F provide trainers or facilitators for our event?

Yes. As a member of the International Alliance for Cultural Relations, F4F is part of a broad network of over 20 organisations across Europe and beyond. This allows access to a diverse pool of experienced educators, facilitators, and trainers.

F4F is open to individual negotiations based on your needs — whether you are looking for a trainer to lead your event or to co-create educational content. You can also explore the existing content and sessions under the Courses tab.

Can I support a specific programme or target group through a donation?

Yes. While F4F receives national and international funding for many of its projects, some of its activities fall outside the scope of those grants. That is why the organisation also relies on the generosity of individuals, businesses, trusts, and foundations to sustain and expand its impact.

You can support the organisation in several ways:

– Making a direct donation to a programme or target group you care about;
– Organising a fundraising event in your community or organisation;
