No really - I have to bring back my blog - 2014

My girls are growing up too fast - and I have a terrrrrible memory.  Some say it is my age (thanks)  that makes me forgetful.  But i think it is a side effect from my surgery.  Either way- don't think its going to get any BETTER!  I really better get on it.  I am going to blink and my girls will be grown up and gone and I will miss these little things - the daily things that go on around here.

I think I will have to go back and update some important things I have missed over the years - some things I do remember - and share some photos that I have from the years I have missed here.

(for the record - I did try this months ago but google has consumed too much - youtube & blogger - and I had a huge ordeal trying to get my passwords reset - it was so so annoying)

But - here we go.  I am doing this again.  I am a blogger. Yea.

2013..... bringing my blog back!

I have too much invested - years of documenting whats happening around here to stop forever!   Of ALL things to kill the momentum of my blog!   - LICE!   When my house had lice i had NO time for anything... for almost a solid MONTH!  I was sleep deprived and a bit insane!    I have a lot of catch up to do and plan to get to it very soon!

that is one sad dog

We are all sad actually.  Olive just can't hide it.  The dogs got kicked out of the studio.  An evil witch disguised a narrotic interior designer moved in to the front studio space.  When she moved in, she played it cool that she loved the space - as is.  BUT, it didn't take long before she showed her true colors.   She has not even moved her furniture in before John got an email from Gary (his landlord) saying that the dogs were no longer welcome.  Stating that because it was a place of business, John should just consider himself lucky to have been able to bring them for the last 9+ years.  Gary has to make the new tentant happy, she is paying a ton of rent. BUT, i wish he would have gone to bat for John and Kellie (both long time renters with great history there - and history with dogs)  So, Olive has been pouting and sleeping all day. Now it is getting colder out and they are even less likely to get a walk from me. This whole mess at the studio has made John start looking for new spaces.  I think he has found one, so we will see how quickly he can move.

jackolantern smile

Ryan lost both of her front teeth this summer.  Probably earlier then she would have lost them because Tootie helped knock them loose a couple years ago.  She not has one tooth almost in, but the other isn't budging.  It is making for a great jack-o-lantern smile.

drums

Image

Ryan has been playing drums now since late July.  John met Ellis this summer.  They play in a band together (The Southside Swingers)  and Ellis offered lessons to Ryan.  of course, they are pricey - SUPER pricey - but it is awesome to watch.  After about 6 wks of lessons she passed up John on the drums.  It takes SO MUCH coordination.  I will post a video some time.

the image of LICE

this is a funny picture.. NOW.  It wasn't funny at the time.  Every girl pictured got lice.  They either had it on this day, or they went home from this camping trip with lice.  The start of it was when Adele had her belated 9th birthday sleepover.   The girls slept in a tent in the backyard.  The next monday we found out that Francesca had lice.  We checked everyone that was at the party and no one else had it. (except for Gigi - francescas sister)  We thought maybe we escaped lucky. BUT, from school to the soccer field (sharing the yellow jerseys for schrimages each practice)  9 of the 15 girls got lice.  All the girls in this photo shared bike helmets to ride around the park and then crawled in the RV and watched a movie before all going to bed - or going home.  OOOH, the textbook way to spread lice.  we broke every rule except for sharing hairbrushes.  We fought lice twice this fall,  I hope that was the last bout of lice we see.  It was miserable!

individual

Here are my ladies off to school.
Ryan picks out things that I would never think of to put together and wear, and Mia asks me to pick out things for her.  Maybe Mia should consult Ryan some day.  I think they are both pretty adorable!
