 I was out sick the last two days. Something has been going around the office. This winter has already been bad, and under RFK Jr., it'll only get worse. Living in a rural town in the Central Midwest, the odds are not in our favor. We eagerly get our children and ourselves vaccinated every year, but if no one else does...it's a crap shoot.  We made it to the end of the week. I'm not sure why, but this was the longest week. Being back at work, being back in the grind, the commute, for some reason, this year, this week, was a slog. I'm exhausted. It doesn't help that we started this year with war, murder, and corruption. It's week one. A friend had a conversation the other day in which she had to remind someone that we have 3 years left of Trump. The person seemed shocked. I know I'm terminally online, but it's a marathon.  ICE must be dismantled. I'm not a fan of "Abolish ICE" as a slogan, but use it all you want. Something has to work and stick with the American public. We can't let ICE operate. The administration will lie to our faces repeatedly, but if you saw yesterday's video, you see cold-blooded murder. Renee Nicole Good should be alive today . ICE is a domestic terrorist organization.  The early fawning over war has begun. The media loves a good war with a clear bad guy. Maduro is a vessel for their bloodlust. We've seen this all before. The Trump administration has no plan, really. There are folks in his administration who have ideas or motivations, but historically, this is all going to fail. And the people of Venezuela will be left picking up the pieces.  Five years ago. It should've ended five years ago . Trump attempted an insurrection; it failed, and he should be in jail...yet here we are. We all remember that day. It was on our TVs. An angry mob of right-wing vengeance. White rage. Yet here we are. I think the Biden administration's biggest mistake was not prosecuting Trump immediately. We were a democracy after all.
