Well it has been a hectic five weeks.
I suppose the big news is that I got another job and quit my old job. My current boss, sadly, wasn't devastated by my leaving. At least from what I saw...
This new job looks interesting, plus the working conditions seem a lot nicer. Plus there is the possibility of overseas travel somewhere down the line so that is promising.
Aside from that I went along to a "Drinking Night" with my fellow employees a few weeks ago and got absolutely blind. I wouldn't shut up and I developed a terrible stoner laugh as the night progressed. I don't think I've been that drunk since schoolies, a good time was had by all though, and I managed to pull up alright the next morning.
It was a really fun night and I'm glad I went, it has been ages since I've been out with anyone and going out with a couple of workmates was good because it sort of "broke the mold" of what a typical night out for me would be.
Plus it is a night that keeps on giving, as the weeks progress we are remembering more and more of the events that transpired. Interesting stuff.
Anyways I'm going to be having a large amount of time off of work so I've been thinking of going on a trip away. I'm not sure where to though. I might go down to Brisbane to see Andy Warhol's art though.

Yesterday, for the very first time in my life, I had my hair cut by someone who was younger then me.
My LCD Monitor just died... and I wasn't even around to see it happen. I simply went to hang some washing on the line, and when I was back... Nothing
I'm typing this on a 17 inch CRT. *tear*
My eyes! The goggles do nothing!
On a good day I'm full of life, I have plenty of energy and I can see my future ahead of me.
On a bad day my grip on reality is tenuous at best.
I just wish I had more good days.

My understanding is that there is now overwhelming evidence that money does, in fact, buy happiness.
So I was just thinking about a random rant I wrote on Slashdot a few months ago trying to convince the world of my long held position that Western Australia does not, in fact, exist.
Much to my surprise when I googled for "Western Australia doesn't exist" sure enough my post came up. However it had actually been quoted (and formatted) on someone else's blog. People are starting to take notice! Soon this myth will be, as Jamie and Adam would say, busted.
