Global DevSlam will host the FutureHack Hackathon, held by FutureLab in collaboration with Hackmasters, where the world's top 200 developers will compete.
FutureHack welcomes developers to participate individually or as a team, but only the best of the best will get the opportunity, limited to 200 bright minds.
FutureHack is sponsored by FutureLab, Emirates NBD Bank's strategic think tank and testing center dedicated to creating new solutions that can benefit their clients and respond to their always-evolving needs. The think tank focus on creating seamless smart payments, simplifying business administration around banking for SMEs, and enabling customers to monetize their data. Developers will try to tackle these challenges with their innovative ideas.

At GlobalDevSlam, in Dubai World Trade Centre, you'll present your ideas!
Requirements
What to Submit
Submissions to the hackathon must meet the following requirements:

Include a Project built optionally with the suggested developer tools and technologies, the FutureHack API sandbox.

Include a text description that should explain the features and functionality of your Project.
-
Include a 90 second presentation video of your Project.
Submission deadline is 5pm (Gulf Standard Time) 11th October. Minor edits can be made on HACKDAY.
Prizes
BEST IDEA & MVP
The winning team for the best business model and tech design gets $10,000 worth of prizes and goodies, along with an opportunity to finesse their solutions with Emirates NBD subject matter experts, as well as a fast track to DevSlam Talent – an opportunity to present to potential hiring & business managers and be considered for full-time positions.
MOST IMPACTFUL IDEA
An Oculus VR Set and goodies, plus $5000 worth of prizes and a fast track to DevSlam Talent, go to the team with the most impactful idea.
BEST TECH DESIGN
Winners of the best technical design will receive $3000 worth of prizes and an Oculus VR Set and goodies, plus a fast track to DevSlam Talent.
MOST CREATIVE CONCEPT
The HACKMASTERS prize - a trip to our London studio for the team with the most creative concept with all-expenses paid.
BEST USE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES

How much impact (quality and quantity) can this project have? Does it solve a big problem or a little problem? Will it inspire or help many, or a few? -
2. Creativity and Innovation
How creative/innovative is the approach? Is the project novel and something that hasn't been attempted before, or is it an incremental improvement on something that already exists? -
3. Relevance
Is this project responsive to the challenge for which it was submitted? Is it a complete solution or does it have a long way to go? Is it technically feasible? How usable or user friendly is the solution? -
4. Technical Feasibility and Implementation Quality
Is the solution technically feasible? Will it do what it sets out to do? Can it work in the real world? -
5. Presentation
How well did the team communicate their project? Were they effective in telling the story of the project: the challenge, the solution, and why is it important?
