So. Amanda aparrently has been working for the devil (well... we know that payday loan places are the devil already; but this just solidifies it).
They've made her work off the clock.
Made her skip her lunch breaks almost consistantly.
She's gotten in trouble because her manager decided to dissapear with some money and she came up short when counting the $
Her job has been threatened because she did not clock out at 6pm exactly... even though she was still working.
Needless to say it's been rough. She's out getting a new job now so hopefully things'll be better.
Work for me's been crazy too. Imagine 2 people answering calls while 4-10 other calls are waiting to be answered. Even Riisuke the Swift and Mighty (without listening to them) Closer of all Voicemails is behind --- there's something like 300 in the queue now. Total number is around 1500 because we're a week back on emails. I want to stab self ^-^
I want to just.... collect our paychecks, sell my car and any unnecessary belongings, take out some huge loans and dissapear. Drop off the face of the earth... wonder how long we could bum around the world just me her 'n the cat >.> |

First, I work on salary. Today's my day off. I normally work a 10 - 7pm shift.
What am I doing today at 7am? I'm at work. But I'm also getting paid overtime (time & 1/2) even though I'm on salary.
Fuck I'm tired.... Yahoo Launchcast radio is nice to keep the music changing but my "personal" station plays "Zombie" entirely too much... I love it. |

So... I woke up with a sledgehammer pounding my lower back with (inside joke) a blaze of lumberjack fury today. It started at 6:30am and hasn't gotten any better.
I was a part of the lamest motorcycle gang in the world in my dream last night. It consisted of myself, some of my old high school friends (nobody reading this) and (apparently) some teen-aged member of the British royal family. None of us actually knew how to ride, that's the funny part.
Back in reality, (or fantasy still) I wish my house had a laundry chute. Something I could dump all the dirty clothes in and then through magic (or paid help) they would return to the bedroom the next day washed, dried and folded. I also hate trying to keep the kitchen clean all the time... like we have this habit of letting the dishes build up until the sink resembles that primordial fungus shit that's all over the place in that terrible Mario Brothers movie.
Speaking of John Leguizamo... I want to see that Romeo and Juliet movie again sometime. |

No, I don't post much. Yes it's usually devoid of any real substance or just a meme. The truth is I really don't have a lot to say to the world as a whole. If I have something to say it's usually only relevent to the person I'm talking to. Thats what I have (COUNT THEM) 3 screen names listed on my userinfo. If I want to talk, I'll sign online.
That's not to say I don't dislike the whole idea of Livejournal -- I actually do enjoy reading (most) of my friends' entries and certainly don't want anyone to feel like I'm scorning you for posting too much (or to little).
Or maybe I'm a big baby.
On a "life" note -- we strung halloween lights up in our living room (yes it's september still) and it's neato. |
