Located in Colombia’s Orinoco region, the project involves the planting of over 24 million mixed-species trees aimed at enhancing ecological restoration without any planned commercial harvest activities. To date, the project has planted trees across 10,000 hectares and supported local employment of over 700 direct and indirect jobs.
Our commitment aims to increase the project’s scale to over 20,000 hectares of planted area and advance efforts to restore land degraded by intensive agricultural activities.

The programme has since enrolled more than 10,000 farmers, covering more than 25,000 hectares of farmland. Annually, TGRA is estimated to reduce approximately 100,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e) of methane emissions from rice cultivation.
