Geom Hacks is a 48 virtual hackathon that is completely free to attend and will take place on June 13 - 14. Our hackathon will offer an opportunity for students to create something meaningful and also win awesome prizes for their hard work.

Eligibility

Students grade 6 to 12 can attend our hackathon.

There are no location requirements.

A GitHub link with the code for the project. 

Most likely a link to a video recorded by the participants explaining their project but more details will be determined later

Judging Criteria

  • How functional is the project /10
  • How original is the idea /10
  • How scalable and viable is the project (could this problem turn into a real solution) /10
  • Is the demo intuitive to use and user-friendly (if no demo, then just rate based on the video of the project) /10
  • Does the demo/video look pleasing and perssuasive /10
  • Is the video 3 - 5 minutes long - 1 for yes, 0 for no
