Pretty exciting stuff! Sam lost his first tooth today. He was a brave boy while Daddy pulled it out.

Themes for 2013

In our family we decided to have themes for the year. Each week we will have a new theme. The first week was... yup, you guessed it... goals. We include a dinner discussion about the theme and then give the children a challenge. The theme for this, the 2nd week of the year is creativity. We watched the following 2 clips from www.TED.com These are fabulous, especially the first one.
Other ideas for themes for the week are: Commitment, Faith, Motivation, Love, Honesty, Integrity

Labor Day week

We went down to Southern Utah (hot) for Labor Day.  It was pleasant (hot) and the kids really enjoyed being with their cousins on both sides.  They went swimming a lot and some of us got to go through the Subway in Zion (or is it Zions ;)  )

Anyway, we had a wonderful time and look forward to more trips down there this coming winter.

ballooning May over Park City

I took Amber on a hot air balloon ride in May and finally uploaded it online... It was a blast.  At least when she wasn't scared, it was really fun.  I highly recommend it.
