 Okay ... so, if you are like me - and trust me, I am so much this way - you spend your day working by your computer, and you have YouTube playing as background sound.

Talk about shooting yourself in the foot!  Let's hope Newsome never runs for PRESIDENT - I'd hate to think of this on a national level.

So I was listening to one such item when I was "shopping" on line - window shopping really, I hardly ever actually pay for anything these days - when it caught my attention ...

California - one of our largest econmic areas - is having a bit of an issue ....

Yes, you have read that correctly - the Preppers in California are going "SEE?" to the rest of the state right now - and every other Prepper is going "Damn!"

REPORTS OF 12,000 DEAD ... IN IRAN ... BY FORMER PRINCE OF IRAN ...

 Yeah, I thought I had better put in where this information came from ... because the "official" numbers - from Bret Braer on Fox News, it was 3,000 - 4,000+ .... can we just say between 3,000-4,000?

According to the former crown prince - I want to say he was the son of the Shah of Iran, but I'm not really sure at this point - they are killing people and then charging their families in order to get the bodies back (it's supposed to pay for the bullet that killed them)

WOW - they say this sort of thing about China ... but this is the first time I've heard about it about Iran.

Don't get me wrong - Iran is a horrible place.

I was in 11th grade when the hostages were taken .... 10th or 11th, but I can't remember if it was at the beginning or the end of the year - I remember we had two foreign exchange students - one from Spain and the other from somewhere in the middle east (Yani, I still remember his name) and shortlly after it happened he was ... gone.  I remember him being in class until break - then - POOF- he was simply gone.

I suspect he was sent back to whichever country he came from ... but I don't really know.

I remember the 1980 elections - I was in 12th grade and I remember the next day when I found out Reagan had won - I was so excited (Carter was a horrid President) and I remember asking one of my teachers if she had voted yesterday, and she said yes, and I said "Isn't it great?" and she said "Oh did you like Reagan?" .... I didn't know it at the time but I don't think she liked him very much.

Well, neither did the Iranians - the moment he took the oath, they let the plane carrying the hostages GO .... they weren't going to mess with him - no way, no how

The Iranians today are again, looking for Freedom - it's an vague concept that is recognized the world=round ... someplaces don't even have a name for it - but they will know it when they see it.

I doubt they will go back to a monarchy ... and somehow, I don't think the religious leaders won't want to give up their power either ... and there is a parliamentary government of sorts ... we will have to see what will happen.

PAY ATTENTION PEOPLE!!

 Okay - I know this is going to cause a lot of "discussions" out there ... if your family is like mine, likely very LOUD discussions will be taking place ....

And while there is on one main video out there - taken from a second or third floor window, and across the street ... you need to really look at that video to see much of anything - there's a TREE in the way, there are parked cars in the way, the camera moves away to follow a different car which was impeding the ICE agaents .... but THIS video shows a much better angle of what happened ...

It was took on the same level as the incident (I'm not judging), and it shows more of what actually happened - nothing really blocking anything, except the car as it pulls away.

My husband is convinced she did hit the cop - I'm not so sure ... I know he had a limp afterwards, I know he was seen at the hospital, and I know he is "spending time with his family" according to Noem.

This was shone on "Outnumbered" this afternoon (Jan. 7th)

 I agree with Joe Schucheray (I'm shure I spelled that wrong) ... we have to give this thing at least 48 hours ... I'm going to say likely more like 96 hours.

I also heard, that the officers did NOT have their BodyCameras ON for some reason ... it will be interesting to see how this plays out over the next week or so.

LET'S HOPE PEOPLE LEARN THIS TIME!!!!

 This is an election year - well, 2026 - and the Governor of MINNESOTA is up for election for a THIRD TERM .... there hasn't been a3 term governor in my iolifetime .... and I hope it DOESN'T HAPPEN THIS TIME EITHER

It is from a local station in the Twin Cities ... KARE-11 ... an NBC affiliate!  I am totally shocked!

All I can say is .... wow! just wow!

But according to Gov. Walz - he's just a "knuckle-head" but he's proud of the arrests he's made.

Sir - YOU haven't made ANY arrests ... the Police (who you are trying to get rid of, btw) made the arrests.

Nor did you do any CONVICTIONS ... you never even touched these cases ...

Accept to SIGN THE LAW which allowed this scam to happen in the first place ....

as well as so many other programs which have FLEECED the tax-payers of the State of Minnesota.

i WILL BE GONE FOR A BIT ....

 I hate my computer ... well, not really ... I have shorted out ANOTHER charger - hubby said it was the last one .... 

So this may be the last post for quite a while ....

I kind of miss the old days, when hubby would give me the newer stuff so I could "test drive" the durability part of things.

But - now - I get the leftovers after he updates .... maybe.

So - I don't know when I will be back.

But boy will I have a LOT to say!

5 YEARS OR HALF A DECADE .... WHICH IS LONGER?

 WHY - oh why does this bother me???

So, last week the news broadcasts started talking about how the FBI caught the man who set explosive (but, as it turned out, non-functional) devises outside of both the republican AND democratic offices in D.C.

but the thing that gets me is that no matter what station I listened to ... ABC ... CBS .... NBC ... CNN ... FNC ... didn't matter EVERY CHANNEL just could NOT bring themselves to actually say "5 years ago" ...

No matter what station ...
No matter the reporter ...
everyone said the same damned thing ...

OMG!!  How stupid do they think we are?

First - no one knows what his motivation was ... it happened on Jan. 5-6, 2021 ... 
No one was hurt (that I'm aware of)

And the digital images they had were grainy to say the least ... who knows, maybe they enhanced it to see his face, or find some tattoo on his body ...

I heard the had a "distinctive walk" ... they were able to identify several items of clothing he had on - including his shoes!

Somehow, they found out it was him - and arrested him.

So now - we wait for the case to start ...

Let's hope that it doesn't get tossed out because of who Trump has appointed to office.

BUT ....

Let's just say '5 years ago" .... 

I HAVE A DIFFERENT OPINION ... TOTALLY

  So - this year I joined the Walmart+ membership thingy... I have used the Shipping/Delivery options enough so far to have paid for itself!  Loving it.

But I was watching YouTube, Adventures with Dan-O, and he was going through a Kroger store ... a big box store we don't have in my area - and he noticed that they have restocked their supplies of BEANS and RICE, and he said he was glad they put it in because it had been full of "holes" - it didn't have a lot of stock on the shelves.

Now, you have to understand .... earlier in the episode he had been going through the meat department .... pointed out a Chuck Roast which was ON SALE for $6.99/Lb.

Wait - that's a sale price???? To me, that's the normal price - I told my daughter not to buy any beef over $4.99/lb, which is still a tad high for me but I'm willing to pay for it.

The increase of RICE and BEANS is nothing to be happy about .... it means, pay attention!  It's a lack of TRUST in the ECONOMY of the nation ... a lack of trust in the MEAT MARKET.

Rice and Beans are considered "poor food" ... it is what saved the world during the 1930's ...  I think it's indicative to WHAT'S COMING ...

Grab your beans and rice now ... chances are, it won't be there in the future. 

and no - this has nothing to dow ith tariffs or inflation, well maybe inflation .... I think they are getting ready for the band to snap and for things to "over correct" and people not having enough money ....
