To Idaho We Go
Every Fall we head home for the hunting season. Ben was not able to get leave from his new squadron, so after a little debating, I decided to try the trek out for my self. That's right, I did 12 hours and 650 miles in one day with my kids. Whew....am I crazy? Honestly I saw the sun rise over the Sierra Nevada Mountains and set over the Great Salt Lake. What We made it though. We were blessed with lots of time with Papa and a little time with Nana (since she was working). We delayed a few days because of weather. And I was happy we did. We were able to see my mom's side of the family and Rhone and Olin were able to go to the school Halloween Carnival. What a fun time! The trip back was absolutely exhausting. The sun was blinding as we drove over the pass. It was worth it and I know I can do it, but whew it's gonna be a while before I am up for it again.
There's nothing like holding your little man up while he takes care of some serious business, on the side of the road, to make you feel like super mom. I can do hard things :)
Learning to be very careful and responsible at an early age.

Isn't this how these pictures always go? Look at the circus, but how sweet are these pictures with their great grandparents. Priceless I say.

Garden fresh carrots are perfect for gumming |
Rhone and Papa made a "smoothie" with what was left from the garden. It wasn't so yummy, but Rhone was sure that "chocolate chips and sugar would make it better" So in they went.
Papa got stuck helping out with a "project" results to come soon.
