The Story

In 2011, a broke Australian bartender named Dan Saunders discovered that between 1am and 4am, his maxed-out ATM card could withdraw unlimited cash. A software glitch. A three-hour window. No one watching.

Over four months, he pulled out $1.6 million. He threw legendary parties. He flew his mates on private jets. He fell in love. He lost himself.

And then he did the craziest thing of all: he tried to give it back. The bank didn't want it. So he went on national television and confessed.
