Our young women made this pillow for Lauretta who has been their fearless leader for years. She iis an amazing, talented person who has given much service.

Heather's Birthday Hike

Every year for Heather's birthday she likes to do a hike. This year we did a section of Forest Park. Even though we got a little wet, it was great fun with sack lunches at the park afterwards.

Baby quilt

Quick pinwheel quilt using a charm pack and sewing 1/4" seam around the edge of 2 pieces to get 4 half square triangles. Given to Brian and Lucy Harris for their new baby girl.

I've been working on the folkart gathering quilt. Finished up block 4 and almost done with block 5.

I was cleaning my sewing room and came across this pattern I'd downloaded from the internet. Made up a few and filled them with jelly beans and m&m's.

St.George Visit

A week in St. George with Karen's family. Mom got to see her newest great grandchildren, Katherine and Veronica. We biked, talked, laughed, played games, crafted, ate delicious food, shopped, ran into wonderful old friends, and enjoyed being together. Went by way too fast!

The newest member of the Whittington clan. Veronica joins Rowan Olivia, (who had an aversion to having her picture taken-might have gotten that from her Dad!) Beautiful baby that looks much like big sister!
