Transparency

Nature restoration is only credible when it is transparent and verifiable.

Thorough due diligence

Every project undergoes thorough due diligence beyond planting metrics. Annual on-site visits to selected projects confirm alignment with agreed restoration plans, while tree registries are cross-checked with purchase records, ensuring full traceability from funding to forest.

Field & remote monitoring

Monitoring is led by our local partners, who oversee progress directly in the field. From mid-2026 onwards, we will introduce an independent verification layer using advanced remote sensing technology from Kanop. By combining high-resolution optical and SAR satellite data with LiDAR-trained models, we will gain an objective and consistent view of forest development over time, further increasing transparency across all projects.

Our impact platform for digital transparency

1. Impact data

Track the number of trees planted, the corresponding carbon data, the carbon credits you have purchased or financed, and other key impact parameters.

3. Blockchain verified impact

Prove your impact with an annual timestamped certificate that fixes the planting of trees to a certain moment in time.

2. Project update notifications

Receive regular updates about the projects you support directly into your mailbox.

4. Keep an eye on your project

Track the impact you’ve made through satellite imagery on which your specific planting location is marked with a polygon.

Guarantree label

Certified carbon credit projects undergo independent third-party audits before credits are issued. These audits confirm the measured carbon sequestration and ensure that each credit is fully traceable and backed by verified climate impact.

For our local projects, we offer the option to apply a different approach through the Guarantree label, developed in collaboration with Vinçotte (a KIWA company) as independent verifier. Instead of focusing on carbon accounting, this optional audit framework assesses the quality of the planting, species selection, and the effective implementation of the long-term forest management plan.

This way, both models can rely on independent validation, each with a methodology tailored to the specific objectives of the project.
