Hello, this is
ningengirai posting under my graphic journal name. As some of those who are watching or posting to this community have probably realised,
noctuidae was recently hijacked by someone using one of my old t-online.de email addresses to have my password sent to it. Thanks to the LJ Abuse/Support Team, I did manage to get the journal suspended pretty much on the day this "Dear Community, I have stopped supporting LJ as my journaling service [...]" post appeared on my friendslist.
I have now regained control over this LJ, and locked it down tighter than Fort Knox. I would like to apologize to anyone the hijacker(s) may have spammed - I went through the communities associated with
noctuidae and thankfully they only seem to have posted to
gradiental - and I urge anyone who has recently changed their email address to go
here ( LJ's Email Management Tool ) and remove any old email addresses they don't use anymore.
Again, my apologies. T-Online is a pay-for ISP, as was the email address associated with it, and it simply didn't occur to me when I switched to gmail as my email provider that t-online would recycle my old email address - a bit naive, I admit. I've since deleted that old email address from all my accounts.
In other news, I am not dead! I haven't posted or made any gradients in literally ages, but life hasn't really been very kind to me lately in terms of time ( new job, new apartment, etc ). I have no plans to delete this community or any of the others I manage at any time and do plan on creating a few new shinies when things have settled down a bit.
