Most frequently asked question:  What is the difference between Commencement, Convocations and Celebrations?

University Graduate and Undergraduate Commencement ceremonies are the university-wide ceremonies at which President Crow confers degrees.

At Graduate Commencement, doctoral graduates have their names read and cross the stage. Master degree candidates will be announced by college, but not individually.

At Undergraduate Commencement, undergraduates are presented by college, but not individually.

Convocation events, hosted by colleges, celebrate individual achievement where graduate names are called and graduates cross the stage.

Celebrations are organized by and for various student groups. All graduating students are welcome to attend.
