DARSOMBRA Presents: Transmission – A Celebration For Ann Everton was a two-day festival event which took place The Ottobar in Baltimore, Maryland on February 28th and March 1st, 2026.
The gathering was established to honor the life and art of DARSOMBRA’s Ann Everton, who tragically passed away in a vehicle accident in October 2025 as the band was beginning their latest tour, and was curated and organized by Ann's bandmate and husband, Brian Daniloski, who joined David Brenner in the GRIDFAILURE set.
Additionally, the duo procured an arsenal of percussive instruments including hand drums, shakers, maracas, three gongs, and much more, and invited the audience to join them at the end of the set to further honor Ann's memory.
Twenty-eight artists performed at the fest. GRIDFAILURE closed the second stage on the first day, which also including Ala Muerte, Curving Tooth, Glorian, Unicorn Dogs, Fortisse, Cora Sone, Lady Hatchet Quartet, ARKN, Born of Plagues, Cultic, Curse, Consumer Culture, Stinking Lizaveta. The second day saw performances by Human Host, Marian McLaughlin, Psychic Enema, Acoustic War On Women, Heavy Letdown, 50’ ♀ & The Worms, Moth Broth, Mrs. Paintbrush, Height Keech, Twings, RjVj, Quattracenta, Holy Fingers, and Celebration.
