Nothing to talk about.

This weekend was very boring for us. We did absolutely nothing. Kailye, Michael and I were all sick on Friday so we sat around and vegged all night. Then Saturday we basically did the same thing. I did get some of Christmas decorations put away but really not much else. Sunday I was sick and Kk still had a cough so we stayed home from church. That really was our whole weekend. Fun eh? I'm s little bugged today because I had to come to work. It wouldn't normally be a big deal except I woke up late so I'm going to be here a while. I have to make sure I get my hours this pay run so I don't lose my benefits. I have to take a few days off in the next few weeks and because of the changes with my job..woohoo...I don't have vacation time.

Kailye goes in next week to get her tubes put in her ears...YAY!!!! Poor kid can't hear anything. She also has to have something trimmed in her ear that is making it even worse for her to hear. Also Michael got a job offer and is supposed to go to Chicago for training next week. He hasn't decided if he wants to take it yet but if he does he will be gone next week and I will need to be home with kk one day.

Well I better make some money since I have to work today. Peace.

Christmas

We had an awesome Holiday season. Friday we went to the Nutcracker with the Griffee Family. It was fun to see Kailye and Kari's niece Ali watch the show. On Saturday Michael and I got up and went to opposite valleys to finish Christmas shopping. Then we went to Grandma Gordon's Christmas party. Kailye had so much fun playing with the rest of the great grand kids.

On Sunday I was sick so I had to stay home from our cute little niece Jayci's blessing. Michael and Kailye went and said it was good. Little Jayci is so sweet. On Moday we woke up a little late and went to lunch with Leeana and Michael's siblings along with their spouses at Carrabba's. I love that place. After lunch Michael went shopping and Leeana, kk, and I went to finish up shopping and Christmas dinner. Michael and I decided last year that from now on we are doing our own Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas morning. It was so fun. We did invite Leeana and got her jammies as well. We had cheese potatoes and ham. It was wonderful. After dinner we read Christmas stories in our Christmas pajamas. Leeana went home and kk went to bed and Santa was glad that all the gifts were wrapped.

Christmas morning was so much fun to watch kk open all her presents. She is such a girl. She got lots of Barbies and Clothes. Her favorite shirt is definitely the one the Maxwell's bought her. She was so excited to have it match mommy's. I wanted to take a picture today but she wasn't feeling good tonight and just wanted to go to sleep. After Christmas morning stuff we headed to Grandpa Dan's to do Griffee Christmas stuff. That kid of ours is so spoiled. She got lots of fun new toys. I'm glad next year there will be 2 more grandkids, 4 total, that her grandparents will have to spread to.

We headed to Val's after that and had dinner with the Cox side of Michael's family. (Oh wait before that we had to run home because Michael dumped an entire can of soda on me. It was a long cold ride home.) It was funny to see the looks on some people's faces when they saw we were expecting again...we hadn't mentioned it too much. We had such a great Christmas. It was so fun to do just one family per holiday this year. We will definitely keep it up from now on. Well that got long and I'm tired. Write more tomorrow. Bye.

Pregnancy

I forget who we've told and who we haven't that we are expecting again. So here it is. This is our preggo blogspot. 4pregnancies1child.blogspot.com

I have lots of pictures I need to post from Christmas, but alas I am at work. We did have a very good holiday season though. Very relaxed. We loved it. It is the first year in 5 years that I don't feel like I need a vacation from my vacation. Woohoo.

I was so excited to get cute little pictures of my new nephew this morning. He's so cute. He looks just like Katy. Michael is soooo excited that they named him after him. He feels very honored. I don't think they have pictures up yet but here's a link.

Well back to work. I'll try to post tonight.

Kailye had her Christmas program tonight. At her program last year she was very shy and didn't do very much. This year we talked about her her program a lot and she told me she was going to be shy again. After I talked to her about how I used to sing in front of lots of people she asked how I did it. I told her I just sang really loud and didn't get scarred. She has been practicing and she did so well. I was so proud of her. She was not scarred at all.

Here is Kailye with Santa. She was not so fooled. She told us that it wasn't the real Santa.Image This is her waiting for her chance to show a break away karate move. Lovely really. She's such a lady. HA HA HA
Image We learned tonight that she is a great dancer. She was the only one who did the whole dance all the way through. It was so adorable.

Image
Image She was right on beat and in step every time.

Image
Image
Last Night we went with some friends up to temple square. It was so fun. It wasn't too cold so it was fun to walk around and take our time. After we looked at the lights we went and watched the Joseph Smith movie in the Joseph Smith Memorial building. It was very good. There were some parts that were a little bit much for Kailye but she was very good at asking what was going on. She was so excited to tell Grandma Leeana today about how she knew all about Joseph Smith.

Image We've had a good few days. Well Michael needs to send out some resumes so I'll write more tomorrow.

bed pics

Michael put the lion on there...he was pretty tired when he made the bed this morning. I still need to get thing hung on the walls and put my curtains up. I also need to clean up a little but it looks better than it has since we moved in.Image

Oh Michael.

Yesterday we had a little bit of an eventful day. I came home from picking up Kailye after work and Michael said he thought he might need to go into the doctor because he dropped a drawer from some cabinets on the back of his foot. I said okay. Then he showed me the back of his foot. Uh, it was a mess. He had taken a big chunk of skin off the back of his heal. I asked him when he had done that and he said a few HOURS earlier. Hello!-bleeding-for a few hours? So we took him into the InstaCare and the doctor did his best to sew up what was left of the skin on the back of his heal. He could only get 3 stitches in because there wasn't enough skin for the rest. Lovely I know. I won't post any pictures of that. It's yucky.

After we went to the doctor we went with Michael's mom up to Ikea. I don't usually like Ikea but they have a bed I like and Leeana told us she would get it for us for Christmas. It's kind of girly but Michael said I could get what I wanted to and he didn't care. Ha Ha Ha...little did he know. ImageOur bedroom is kind of small so we can't really have a huge bed. Not even really a mid sized bed would fit well so this one was a good compromise. Wow that picture was bigger than I thought. Anyway, the bed looks much cuter in my room with our stuff on it. We have a mattress and box spring so it looks much more cottage-ey. It's cute. I will take a picture later today and post it.

Well I need to get back to work. bye.

New Car and fun

It has been a very rough couple of weeks and after thinking about it this week it has been a very rough year for the whole Maxwell Family. Art and Steph and there multiple moves and hurricanes, etc. Bobbie and Jeremy and there pregnancy challenges and now health complications. Katy and Chad and there scary seizure with Braxton and Katy's lovely pregnancies. And Michael and I with our lost pregnancies and car accidents, house buying, and job mess. I am so glad to almost have this year be over. We did have a great time in Disneyland in the middle of our crazy lives. I'm glad to have those memories to over power all the hard ones.

Well I went back to my old job on Friday. I am sad to leave the new one. I really did like it but I think this move will be for the best. Getting back to work on Friday was like going home. My boss is ecstatic to have me back and had a computer ready for me as soon as I got there on Friday morning. That is usually based on seniority. She gave me a bunch of work to get into on Monday morning so I can start making money again. I think it was the break I needed from that job to really appreciate how great it was. My boss says I can still keep my flexibility that I need to take care of Kailye and make sure she gets where she needs to be everyday. I feel very good about switching.

We also bought a new car on Saturday. It is a Nissan Pathfinder. We were going to just buy another VW Passat but decided if we are going to have our kids close together we will likely have another one within 18 months of this next one.Image We didn 't want to have to buy another car again in 2 years. So now we have 2 SUV's. I know weird. Neither of us ever felt good about any of the cars we looked at. We had looked at the pathfinder before but it was a little out of our price range so we let it go. Well the sales agent called us a week later and said he could sell it for 3000 less than what he originally quoted. So we went back in to look at it. It was the first car we actually felt good about buying. I know its silly to think about receiving guidance for something like buying a car, but I feel like we did.

Last night we went and hung out with Art and Steph. It was so cool to be able to fit all 7 of us in 1 car. We went and watched the Christmas lights show at a house in Pleasant Grove. It is so cool. They have thousands of lights all timed to music. you just tune your radio into a designated station and watch. We had so much fun. They had a donation box outside there house for Make a Wish Foundation. After we went there we all headed back over to the Maxwell house. Michael and I watched the kids while Art and Steph ran to a reception. Okay I should really say Michael watched the kids. I kind of have a head cold so I layed down. I forgot our camera so I think you'll have to look at Art and Steph's blog to see them.

Well I need to go put a little one to bed so I'll write more tomorrow. Bye.

What a day.

Well its been a rough few days for us. We have had some pretty hefty decisions to make concerning work. I changed jobs about 6 weeks ago and I really enjoy working in the field. However because of our car accident it is nearly impossible for me to do so anymore until they fix my back and figure out whats wrong with my head...I know ha ha somethings wrong with my head. Anyway after a tough night Michael and I decided that the best thing for me to do is to move back to inside sales. It kind of stinks but I am excited to be making good money again. The stress from not making any money and being in constant pain is not worth it right now.

I talked to my old boss this morning and she was so excited. She said I could back back today if I wanted to. So as of tomorrow I am going back in. I'm hoping this will help a bit with our current situation as far as our accident and no money thing goes. yea that's been great let me tell you.

Well that was not a fun post but I've got to get things out sometimes and I really enjoy all of your encouraging comments. I love having so much family.

WOW lots and lots of syrup today. Love you all. I'll post happier later.

It's been so nice to be able to stay home with Kailye the past two weeks. I have noticed that she is so much more in control of her emotions since I have been home. Don't get me wrong she is still crazy Kailye but she is a little more pleasant to be around. I am not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow. It will be an adjustment for me. I love being home with my little one. But I am trying to keep a good attitude about it. We'll see how it goes.

Michael and I had already decided that in the summer I was going to quit anyway but after the past month we decided it should probably be much sooner than that. We are shooting for the first part of February. But it all depends on if Michael's new job (when he finds said job) offers health insurance. We'll see. We will just keep doing what we feel we need to do and hope the Lord's guidance takes us in that direction.

Well Kailye and I have lots to do today before I have to get back to work tomorrow so I better get going. Bye.

Watch out...it's long.

Image I know it has been a very long time since I last blogged. I wanted to post so many pictures but I still have not figured out how to get them off my stinkin' camera. Just kidding figured it out....okay a few hours later.

Thanksgiving was so fun....yes it's really been that long since I posted. I loved seeing all the family.
Image We went bowling on ImageThanksgiving...it was very fun. I really want some of those cute kids bowling shoes for Kk. They are sweet.

The week after Thanksgiving Michael, Kk, and I got in a car accident. We were stopped and a lady rear-ended us going 40 mph. then we hit the car 10 feet in front of us. Needless to say our car is totalled. I am not happy about it considering we paid it off before we bought the house. So now we get to try to find a new car and try to avoid another car payment. I have been off of work since the accident because I was hurt. I got a concussion that has left me with a lasting head ache..woohoo. I also messed up my back but they can't really do much to check it yet. Not with out an MRI. and That is going to have to wait a while. SO now we get to deal with the insurance claim adjuster for Farmers, which is the other driver's insurance. But if our Medical gets over 3000 we will be filing with our Attorney. Michael has a friend who is an accident and injury lawyer. We'll see how it goes. I'm hoping everything goes away and nothing hurts anymore but after 2 weeks of physical therapy and doctor's visits that really hasn't been working out.
Image

We did go visit our super cute little new niece..oh wait our only niece. She's so cute and such a good little baby.

Image
We went to mom's a few weeks ago to do the annual Ginger Bread houses. It was fun. This year we decided to let Kailye do her own and we would just help her out. She did a great job.Image next year we will get back into the spirit of it but it was too much for this year. Kailye had so much fun playing in the snow with her daddy, Parks, Bright, Art and aunt Steph. They built a great snowman. I will have to post all of these pictures later. Image

Image

Image

Michael and I have been trying to keep it all together with the accident and me not working...which translates to no income..THANK goodness for savings. Everything's still good for now. Hopefully we can get it all settled and I can get back to work for a while.....Before I quit to stay home with kk...hoping for February. Michael is looking for Jobs...if anyone hears of anything open please let me know. He's got plenty of experience in multiple fields and a degree in Business. We basically just need something with insurance that pays enough to pay our bills. Image

I got the tree up right after Thanksgiving...I love our Santa tree. Kailye picked out all the ornaments last year.

Image

Kailye was very excited about all the snow at our house. She jumps in it when ever she can.

Image
Well I better get to the grocery store before Michael comes home. We have NO food in our house right now...besides the bit of food storage we have. Love you all. Peace

Tuesday, November 20, 2007

Well another day gone. We went up and visited a bit with my family last night. It was nice not to "have" to do anything. We did need to go return our camera that mom and dad gave us last year for Christmas to Costco. Kailye broke the mechanism that controls the lens so we were just going to exchange it for the newer version. However when we got there we didn't like the new version. So we spent a while figuring out which one we wanted instead. Thank you to dad for looking them all up while I was on the phone with him. We finally decided on the Cannon PowerShot. It's much more fancy than our old camera so I haven't figured out how to use it yet. Sorry no pictures yet.

Kailye spent the whole day today with her grandma Leeana. By the time I got over there to get her she had gone from crying, whining, sick Kailye to SUPERGIRL. Not figuratively she was actually dressed head to boots as supergirl. She was 'flying' everywhere and off of everything. It was hilarious. Kailye gets a LOT crazy any time she has anything with red dye in it and apparently she got a sucker from the bank. Poor grandma.

Kailye got to 'pick out' her Christmas dress today. She chose a cute green dress that looks beautiful on her. I'll have to put a picture on when I figure out how to use the camera. Well I think that's a boring enough post for now. Sorry I'm a little rusty and tired. Night.

Update.

Today has been the first "normal" day I have had in a few weeks. The job transfer is so far so good. I did pretty well today and have lots of appointments set up for the rest of the week. yay! I was thinking I would have another really sad pay check because of the Holiday week but it looks like I'll be okay. I have lots to tell but it would take sooo long so I'll just do a normal post.

I've been trying to catch up on every one's posts considering I haven't talked to pretty much anyone for weeks. Steph said the other day that we really could come up and visit sometime. and I'm hoping that we will now have more time to do that. My little turkey has definitely missed her mommy. She has been telling everyone for the past 2 weeks that she just wants to play with her mommy. Poor kid.

I was reading Bobbie's blog about when Kailye was trying to make her feel better and it made me cry. I know I'm a wuss, but you have to know my kid to know why. She has this 6Th sense to know when people need her. there have been several events that have made this clear but let just share a few. In the spring when Bobbie lost her baby I let Kailye know and this is what she said about it. she has such an uncanny way of making things "okay" or better. At Disneyland when Braxton had his scare with his seizure and everyone jumped up in the chaos to help Katy and Chad, Kailye noticed immediately that Grandma Gordon was crying and that is straight where she went. Not to ask what was going on and why everyone was running around but to tell grandma that Braxton was okay and she didn't need to cry. And then the other week when Bobbie was dealing with someone who was just down right rude and inconsiderate, she was crying and upset and Kailye handed her a carnation and told her it's okay. I think it is amazing to see something so unique in such a little girl. She always seems to see or know something the rest of us don't. I love that she is so in tune to others feelings and the spirit and hope she carries that trait with her through her whole life.

Alright sorry that post was so sappy. Must be my mood today. I'll try to post more often. Love you all bye.

It's been a while I know

I know I haven't blogged for a while but we have been very busy. I have been up at training all week and by the time I get home at night I'm exhausted from sitting through 8 hours of paper work instruction. It's annoying because I have been working for PDC for 5 years so I already know everything they are training me on. yea it's fun making no money for 2 weeks while I sit bored to tears for 8 hours a day. Oh well only 1 more week. Image

This is the picture we took of Kailye the other night. She really loves her scriptures...REALLy! Cute kid.Image

These pictures are for Maren and Ben. Maren helped us out the other day and watched Kailye for the day. I am so grateful she could because I really didn't know what we were going to do with her after our baby sitter told us she was going to be gone for 2 weeks. Now we'll just have to figure something out for next week. Anyway she had so much fun playing with Maren all day. She let her borrow some Barbie's she has and she decided they needed to go to bed as well as her.

Image

She's too cute. She told me all night about how much fun she had all day with Maren and Hannah. She still keeps telling me how cute Hannah is. Thank you Maren.

I went to training this morning and had to leave early to go to a doctor's appointment...thank goodness. After I went to that I went with mom, Bobbie, Art & Steph and the boys to go see Bee Movie. It was pretty cute. Kailye really liked it. By the end of the movie she was dancing around the theater. She's funny. I loved seeing my family. It has been a while. The boys seem so much bigger..it's crazy. We had a great time after the movie as well. We went to a really yummy ice cream and cookie place and then to Target. It was nice to be able to take the afternoon off.

We have a busy weekend ahead of us. Kari is having a C-section in the morning so we need to go visit her. We are also going over to help move some family this weekend. And we STILL need to get through the boxes in the garage so we can park our car in it. yay! At least I have a shower :)

I tried again to load the video and it won't give me the option to pull it off my computer so I'll have to try yet again later.

Well off to finish watching Thumbalina with Kk.

Thursday, November 1, 2007

Stupid Blogger.

I was trying to post a few videos of Kailye being a nerd but blogger won't give me the option to upload from my computer. Stupid blogger. I'll have to try again later.
Kailye and I played Candyland all afternoon and with out even cheating the little stink won 6 times in a row. She kept saying "mom lets play one more time so you can win one" She's funny.
I have been working like mad the past week to get my work finished up before I change positions next week. I should be able to finish up everything tomorrow...which is good because I need the money to cover while I'm in training. I am excited to get started next week and do something "different". I talked to my new boss today and she is going to get me a hotel room for the week days I'm up there so I don't have to drive back and forth. yay! I'm sure I will still be down here quit a bit to take Kk where she needs to be.
Well Michael just got home from work so I'm going to go. Bye.

Halloween Fun.

Image
We had such a great day today. Kailye was Cinderella for Halloween and she looked so stinkin' cute. She went to school this morning and had way too much fun and way too much Candy. ImageAfter school we had to head to the ENT specialist to find out what we already knew...Kailye needs tubes. We have been trying to tell our doctor that since she was two but we finally convinced him she needs to see a specialist. yay!! She will have that done in January. After that Kailye and I went and got her a few new shirts because she doesn't fit most of her winter clothes from last year. She was very excited to get a princess night light for her room...now I can turn off the hall light at night. ImageShe had lots of fun trick or treating. She went up to Grandpa Dan's and went trick or treating there and then came down to our neighborhood. She loves Halloween. This picture is of her after Halloween. She was wired at 10 PM. Way too much candy. I tried to post a video of her dancing around but it won't let me. I'll try later. Well I need to get to bed. Bye.Image

pictures of Marley.

Marley is only 4 1/2 months old and she has gotten so big. She is the sweetest dog and is really loving having a big back yard to rip to pieces.Image
Image

Image
She loves playing with Kailye.

"Look what I can do mom"

Kailye thinks it's so fun that she can climb up the fence and let Marley out by herself. It's cute.ImageShe loves that she can climb the tree in our front yard all by herself. She had lots of fun seeing how high she could go.

Image
I tried post a bunch of pictures of Kailye and Marley but blogger is all messed up so I'll have to do it later.

Day of randoms

This morning I made a random post about cities, and then I had to leave the building...quickly actually. I was just sitting here minding my own business and someone goes and calls a bomb threat. Yea you read right. Who the....would want to blow up PDC. Seriously! So we had to all sit out in the parking lot across the street while the police brought over bomb sniffing dogs. It was weird. So an hour and a half later I'm finally back at my desk. Back to work I go. Time is money for me..I'm not an hourly employee, I work on commission...UG!! :-P

I thought this was fun.

Candle party fun.

I had a candle party last night and it was fun. We had yummy snacks...shrimp, fruit, veggies, and cookies. We all sat around and talked and hung out. It was nice to have a suddo "girl's night"...including Art for a few minutes. I was planning on taking pictures but I totally forgot.

After the candle party Michael's family stayed for a while. Then Leeana and Nat left and it was just me and Kik left. I don't know what we were thinking but she left at about 12:15AM!! It was fun to sit and talk to her though. We haven't really gone on any road trips or to any rugby games or anything like that is so long and that used to be when we would talk. It was good. Well needless to say I am pretty tired today. I still have to work for another hour then I think I'm going to go home to take a nap. Bye.

Monday, October 22, 2007

Weekend...a day late.

This past weekend was so much more relaxing than I thought it would be...oh wait that is because I didn't do any of the things I needed to. Oh well.
Friday we went to the pumpkin patch with Grandpa Dan and Grandma Peggy. It was so cute. I've never gone to the pumpkin patch to get pumpkins before. We always just got them from the grocery store. I was fun to watch Kailye run around and try to find the perfect pumpkin to carve. She was too cute. I forgot my camera but I do have a cute picture on my phone. I'll have to have Michael take it off and put it up. I did my Chicago Bears pumpkin again this year. ImageAdam says maybe it will bring them some more good luck...well they won there game on Sunday by scoring a touchdown in the last 13 seconds so maybe it did. Kailye colored hers and then had her daddy help her carve the face. Michael hasn't carved his yet but he is planning on a haunted house.
Saturday we slept...and slept..and slept..and slept. yep we were sleeping off and on pretty much the whole day. I had such ambition to get so much done and well I didn't. Saturday night we did go to dinner with Michael's mom, at one of my favorite restaurants, Red Robin. After dinner Michael and I went and saw Elizabeth the Golden Age. It wasn't what I expected but it was still very good. Even Michael liked it.
Sunday we slept again...I think we've both been just a bit worn out and stressed. It was crazy to wake up to 4+ inches of snow at our house though..hello..not winter yet. We watched football and also the Red Sox game...Go Sox. It was so nice to just relax and do nothing.
ImageThis is one of the things Kailye and I do every month. We make calenders. They are so stinkin' cute and they are a very inexpensive way to keep her occupied.

ImageSo this picture is just to show that Kailye's bed is actually up. Her room is still a work in progress but it's getting there. We decided we are just going to put our crib up now concidering all the new babies coming into the family...plus that way we don't have to store it in the garage...which I will not show a picture of...oh man.

Today was a pretty good day. I went to work and got a new job..I'm getting more excited for that. Michael also went to work and is now home working on the shower. Did I mention we slept all weekend...yea the shower is still not done yet. I am having a candle party here tomorrow night though...If I forgot to invite you please come at 6:30...Imageso I have been cleaning since I got home from work.

I was going to take before pictures, but I forgot. They would have been pretty dramatic...and my house still isn't clean. However you can see the reflection of my spice rack in the counter...lol.

Image
We have lived here for 5 weeks and we still haven't finished unpacking, we don't have a shower yet, we haven't finished putting up the light fixtures, and we still need to put together the bedrooms...eventually.

Image

Kailye did these pictures about 2 years ago at Nichola and Kelly's house and I liked them so much I framed them in clear frames and had them hanging in our old office. Well I finally got around to hanging them in our new house. After the bathroom is done and I can get all the stuff out of the kitchen I will put up my coat rack underneath the prints.

Although I do have to show this picture...yes that's right progress.

ImageMichael is about 1/3 of the way done with the shower...woohoo! Well I better get the rest of the laundry done..Night.

Changes

I had my second interview with outside sales today. It went really well and she offered me the position. I am so excited and at the same time a little nervous. I have to go through a 2 week training again, even though I've worked here for 5 years :-P It does not pay so well either so now for the next two weeks before I start that I need to sell like mad to make up the difference in commission. I'm thinking the first week of training ought to be VERY boring, but the second week will be a great refresher. I have lots more to blog about but I don't have time right now so I'll try to do more later. Love you all bye.

Steph I'll have to re post a few of the disneyland Pictures that had Bright in them that didn't get put up right. I'll need to get my card to you so you can get the pictures off it.

The one you've all been waiting for...yay!

This picture is so priceless. It is definitely my favorite from the whole weekend. It was Kailye's very first time on an airplane. Can you tell? This is as we were lifting off. Kailye was so excited she kept saying "when are we going to blastoff?" By the time we came home it was her fourth flight and she told me she was a veteran. yea she's a nut. I don't know where she comes up with these things.

ImageImageImage

It was also Braxton's first plane ride. He really just wanted to play with uncle Michael's hat though.

Image
Kailye took this picture. She's quite the little photographer. Some of the pictures she takes are so cool.

Image Were here!...okay well we are in the airport...John Wayne airport to be exact.

Image
And here it comes....all the worst pictures of my siblings. Although poor Katy's was definitely the worst...sorry Kate.

Image

Image

Oh yea and one of mom...lovely.

Image

Image

Image

yea we're in Disneyland!!!!!

The first day we were there we waited in line for a really long time to do the Nemo ride. It was so cool. I think I liked it better than Kailye. After that we went to California Adventures. It was fun to see the shows and go on the kids rides....we didn't discover the full park until that night. A lot of us went on the HUGE roller coaster at the back of the park that night. It was SOOOO good. I am scarred to death of heights but if you want to strap me to a piece of machinery and send me at G forces flying through the air...I'm there. It really was good. Right when you think it's almost over it keeps going. Plus we had hardly any wait.

Kailye ate one of those ice cream bars that is shaped like Mickey Mouse...can you tell? They have always been my favorite because my mom used to get them at the grocery store when I was little.

Bright waiting so patiently for everyone else.Image

ImageKailye spotted Cinderella long before she got to us. She was waving both hands like crazy...I have video but I don't know how to put it on here.

Kailye made us wait for 20 minutes until Cinderella came back from her break...she was very excited about the kiss on the cheek.Image

On day two we went to Disneyland. It was so fun to take Kailye on all the rides. She was just tall enough to go on almost all of them. It was so nice. And she was so excited every time. She is an adrenaline junky I guess. I thought after one roller coaster she'd be done but she just kept going. After every one we'd ask her if she liked it and she'd say yes then we'd ask her if she wanted to go again and she'd say NO. It was cute. In the afternoon Steph and Art bugged the Hostess at Blue Bayou enough that they got us a table for all 17 of us for lunch. It was awesome. That is by far my favorite restaurant ever. Not only for the food but the atmosphere, and all the memories that I have there from being a kid. It was so great to have those memories now with all my brother and sister in-laws, my nephews, my grandma, Leeana, bryan, and my husband and Kailye. They both loved it.

Kailye got to ride almost every roller coaster. She even puts her arms up. I wanted to buy the pictures of her on Splash Mountain and on Space mountain but she was hidden behind peoples arms or heads...but she was funny.

Kailye's favorite ride was Small World. She loved it.

She was watching Fantasmic when I took this picture. She LOVED it. But she also loves Fantasia so she liked all the parts that some kids think are boring.

On Sunday before we left to go to the airport we were going to go to lunch but my sweet little nephew had a seizure so we cut the day short to attend to him and his extremely worried parents. It was very scary, they are apparently common in children under 5 when they are sick and the fever spikes. It is still an image I will never get out of my head. I'm so grateful they weren't by themselves and that there were 2 registered nurses at the restaurant we were at. I also learned what do if it ever happens to any of my kids. you can read more about it on her blog if you'd like.
I have so many more cute pictures but they are on the Disney Photo Pass web site and I can't copy them off so I'll have to order a CD. That one has a picture of all 17 of us in costume. It's cute.
The whole weekend was soooo awesome. I love spending time with my family. I'm glad that for the most part we all get a long and that we are all so close.

We had so much fun that I wish we could have stayed another 2 days. It was so fun to see Kailye's reaction to everything. She was so cute. Thank you mom and dad!!!
