ER visit

Last night Sarinah and Ezra were dancing and spinning. Somehow Ezra ran into the sharp end of the coffee table : (
Luckily, he didnt need stitches. Glue and steri-strips did the job.

Santa in June

On our way to the park today, we see this Santa on the street of one of our neighbors. The kids begged to have it! Assuming it was trash, knocked on the door and asked if it was there because they didn't want it anymore. They said please take it, that's what it's there for. So we have a Santa! It's Isaiah's favorite!

Yum!

I woke up at 515am this morning and went for a walk/jog. It was so nice to be up and out of the house then. I hope to do it again tomorrow. Anyway. I had time to get these babies ready for the kids to devour! They were a big hit! Here is the recipe http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paula-deen/cinnamon-rolls-recipe/index.html

Mad Libs Laughter

Alannah's friend stayed the night and the kids got along so well. Even with the boys. Sometimes it's hard for them to share their friends but it worked out.

Summer time!!

This summer will be a fun and busy one. I can tell already. Milalai has been at a friends sleepover since Friday night. Sarinah got to go to a friends birthday sleepover yesterday. And Alannah had a friend come over last night and stay the night. She gets to stay the night again. This morning I had time to make homemade chocolate chip and plain whole wheat buttermilk pancakes. I. Didn't follow a recipe but I will have to post what I threw in someday because they were delish! I also took the kids to the park before picking up Sarinah. Elijah loves this new park that opened up in our old neighborhood. It's a short drive but kind of a bummer they built a park after we moved! Haha!

Another year older!

We celebrated Elijah's birthday this Month. He is now 7!! He's such a learner and just loves positive attention and rewards. His favorite gift was a bug house. Currently there is a lady bug in it.

Presenting: The Great Egg Drop!

Yesterday was Elijah's class eggtranificiant and eggtraordinary egg drop. His egg was safely placed in tube stuffed with napkins. Then rolled in 2 washcloths and carefully placed and secured in a strawberry container. (The kids had just finished all the strawberries).  When Elijah saw that his was next he excitedly yelled, 'There's mine! Mines next!' All the kids had a blast watching them launch from Mr. Zeke.  When all was said and done, Elijah's was one of the survivors!!!
How cool that his teacher did this for them. She really loves the kids!
