GSOF CNECT
The purpose of the GSOF CNECT is to link government acquisition representatives (both US and Partner Nation) with industry partners to discuss potential solutions to fill capability gaps for SOF warfighters around the world.
CNECT programming takes place at major GSOF events and consists of:
- Pre-selected industry-to-government meetings (usually through an application process)
- Exclusive industry-to-government forums focused on designated topics
GSOF Gives Back
GSOF Gives Back is Global SOF’s initiative to sponsor and/or donate to charities and nonprofit organizations that support the SOF community.
These sponsorships and donations are often connected to:
- Nonprofit participation in GSOF events
- Nonprofit events and fundraisers supporting the SOF community
- Recommendations from our SOF network and advisors
SOF for Life
SOF for Life is a platform dedicated to educating, empowering, and energizing transitioning SOF Service Members, and their Families, to ensure they THRIVE–not just survive–in post military life.
GSOF Capability Accelerator Syndicate (G-CAS)
The purpose of the Global SOF Foundation (GSOF) Capability Accelerator Syndicate (G-CAS) is to convene representatives from Special Operations Forces (SOF), industry possessing novel and innovative concepts addressing SOF capability priorities, and defense investors to increase and maintain our nation’s competitive advantage by making the most cutting-edge technology and concepts available to SOF.
SOF Imperatives
The SOF Imperatives initiative highlights Global SOF’s recommended priorities for U.S. Special Operations, highlighting to U.S. Congressional leadership the fact that U.S. and partner SOF are among the most capable and affordable instruments in safeguarding our security.
Elements of this program include:
- An annual SOF Imperatives “platform” document that educates U.S. policymakers about the needs of the SOF community
- An annual SOF Imperatives Forum hosted on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC
- Quarterly small-group roundtables in Washington, DC
