the final exam is around the corner...

thk God tht all my assignments hv been completed..
thk God for steady groupmates!
first paper starts on the 29th Sept
the last paper is on the 6th Oct
which means...
i hv an extra week of holiday!!! :D :D
parents came over last weekend..yeap,happiness :D
had a nice time with them :D
big bro's back from melb, finally...haha...
will probably be seeing him soon, yay!
nway, guess itz time to switch on the 'nerd mode'..
must must do well for exam!

WOW!

Itz been a rather happening weekend!! haha..fun fun fun!
jonYeap and i decided to join the Novice Cup 2007, organized by the badminton club of MMU, a badminton tournament for so-called beginners, where male players who've represented state level n above are not allowed to take part.
beginners....ya rite..~~~hahahaha..they were all such great players!

we played our first game yesterday...n it was a miracle that we even got through tht match! haha... our opponents were great, apparently the girl was one of the best player of MMU.. WOW!! we made it for the semi-finals this morning, n guess wat?..we did it again!!! but this time, the opponents were not as good as the first pair..hehe..lucky for us! =P n so, we qualified for the FINALS....woohoo!!
jon and i were totally excited abt it but we knew tht this whole thing had been a miracle right from the start..haha... we actually havent played together tht long...n itz amazing how we went tht far..haha..

nway, back to the tournament..it was not easy this time round either... the guy player was a good player... but the girl was juz alright... but she plays very well for a beginner.. =]
btw, she's my high sch junior, rachael, whom i taught her marching the first time we met..hahaha =P
we played 3 sets altogether having won the second match... the final match was really intensed.. guess jon n i lacked experience...n still not tht steady yet..haha
the final verdict was 18-21... boohoohoo!!!

really thk God for this really cool experience..i've always wanted to play in tournaments n stuff..haha.. but i really do not like the tension....mann.. it can kill!! but i guess the more i play, the less tension i'll hv?..n the better i'll be? yeah...cross my fingers.. XD
i think we won medals..haha..i think lah.... coz we did not stay on for the prize-giving... will be collecting them soon! haha....
another bonus i got from it is a bigbig bruise on my shin which actually consisted of a few 'islands' but this morning, it became a whole big country!!!..all becoz i foolishly dived for 3 drop-shots during the first match..which didnt earn us any point...grrrrr....!!!

by the time i reached home, i was halfdead..haha..had a little celebration wif soly...we made our own 'cocktail'..haha...red red color wan..haha..coz of the miranda strawberry... quite cool lah.. =P
after tht i juz sat on the lazy chair..n i couldnt move d...whole body aching..ahhahaha

had a good nap... den woke up around 630pm to wait for High School Musical 2!!
tonite was the tv premier on Disney Channel Asia =D
juz nice, i couldnt go for karate class..i could stay at home n watch! muahaha...
n of coz, it was a blast!!!! better than HSM1, in my opinion..heehee.. n i cant wait to get the soundtrack tmr!!! dun care dun care..i want i want!!!
the songs are really really nicer lor.....HSM2 is more romantic too...heehee.....
i love Troy!! =P
anyway, there'll be an encore telecast next saturday on disney channel!
no tv?....download it!...i wont breathe a word..juz make sure u catch it! =D
