What is HackDay?
Hack-Day is a single-day, 8hr, hackathon where teams of 3 choose one of the provided challenges to develop a solution concept and work to bring it to life for a chance to win big prizes!.
Why participate?
Come develop skills, make friends, and enjoy our relay race mini-event! We will be providing free meals (New York Eats and Chipotle), snacks, and the chance to earn prizes through hacking tracks with a special track from Google Gemini! Aditionally, free MLH swag will be awarded!
How do I prepare? What if I'm a beginner? What will be available for me?
During the event, there will be technical—and non-technical—opportunities hosted throughout, and mentors ready to assist throughout the 8-hour hackathon. We highly recommend beginners submit their projects, regardless of how clean it is! The experience is more than worth it. :)
Requirements
Judging will be conducted in person. For a project to be considered for prizes, it must be submitted on Devpost and include the 3 items:
1. Title
2. Description
3. GitHub URL
Prizes
Main Track
Apple AirPods Pro 2
25" 280Hz Dell Gaming Monitor
Mini Projector
Make sure to be on the lookout for our challenge prompts during the opening ceremony! This track will be updated with each challenge as the opening ceremony comes to a close; please note that all challenge prompts will be weighted the same for our main track, so pick the one your team likes most!
