Want to use technology to change health care? Then you don't want to miss HackDC 2015!
This fall 250+ university students (along with a few corporate teams) will gather in the Washington, DC Metro area to focus their creativity and coding skills for 36 hours on a great cause: developing mobile apps for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in veterans.
Work with clinical experts and veterans to develop solutions that link to a test instance of the VA's electronic health record while taking advantage of leading-edge software and hardware tools. There will be free food, showers, prizes, API workshops, and fun activities. Make new friends and meet technology vendors, sponsors, and federal healthcare leaders.
For more information or to sign up, go to www.hackdc.com. If you'd like to volunteer to help out, or are a clinician or veteran, please sign up at volunteers.hackdc.com.
