HackED is a multidisplinary hackathon focused on education, open to all majors and all years. Projects can range from educational game design, to blackboard improvement prototypes, to an app for homework submission - anything that your team believes will improve education! Top projects will be selected by our prestigious judges and prizes will be awarded!

9AM - 9:30AM Opening, Hacking Begins
9:30AM - 8PM Hacking
12PM - 1PM Lunch
6PM - 7PM Dinner
8PM - 8:45PM Demos and Judging
8:45PM - 9PM Judges Speeches and Awards

Eligibility

Anyone who is interested may participate in this hackathon! 

Participants will work in team so 2, 3, or 4 members (with substitutions permitted at the discretion of the Hackathon organizers), and will submit an artifact of their work (no matter what stage they are at) at 8 PM to this site. 

Requirements

Please submit any work that you have or would like to be documented to this page, where judges can see your work.

The submission deadline is 8:00 PM, October 28th, 2017.

Judging Criteria

  • Educational
    The project must somehow advance the education of a topic or teaching methods in general.
  • Technologically Appropriate
    Utilizes technology in a beneficial way that promotes educational principles
  • Impactful
    Solves a problem faced by a large amount of people in the educational world.
