hackMCST III is the first annual 24-hour hackathon at Morris County School of Technology in Denville, New Jersey. hackMCST is created by high school students for high school students to create, learn, and grow. With workshops, mini-events, tech talks, and a great environment, we are empowering the future generation of innovators and problem-solvers!
Eligibility
Participants
- Must be high school students
- May not leave the event early
- May only have teams up to 4
- Must agree to the MLH Code of Conduct
- Must agree to the MLH Contest Terms and Conditions
- Must agree to the MLH Privacy Policy
Requirements
Each team must submit one submission by 8am on Sunday. If a team does not submit their hack by 8am, they will not qualify for judging or prizes. Teams must only submit a hack that was create during the hacking period. Any project made previously to the event or created before the hacking period will be disqualified.

First Place
Each member of the team will receive a $75 Amazon Gift Card.
Second Place
Each member of the team will receive a $50 Amazon Gift Card.
Third Place
Each member of the team will receive a $25 Amazon Gift Card.
Best Project on .tech Domains
The entire team will win one $250 Amazon Gift Card provided by .tech Domains.
Best Use of Algolia API
The entire team will win 2 Raspberry Pi's and Moleskine Notebooks.
Best Domain Name from Domain.com
Each member of the team will receive a Raspberry Pi & PiHut Essential Kit.
Best IoT Hack Using a Qualcomm Device
Each member of the team will receive a Qualcomm DragonBoard 410c + power source.
