HackTrin is in its third year, and is excited to welcome students to our hackathon! HackTrin is a programming competition that encourages collaboration and innovation. Mentors will be on site to help students build applications around our theme of wellness and fitness. This is a perfect time for students to further their exploration of both software and hardware - creating anything from a mobile mileage tracking app to hardware hacks that log and analyze vital signs to help students stay fit. We plan on having hardware on site (available hardware can be found at hacktrin.com/hardware), but definitely encourage students to explore and bring hardware with them if they plan on working on a hardware hack. Even if you don't go home with a prize, hopefully you'll leave chock full of new knowledge. More can be found on our website: hacktrin.com!
