So, I dunno if you guys have noticed, but I like never post here anymore. I still come and check in on all my friends' stuff but that's pretty much it. Sorry for not commenting or anything. I really need to start doing that again.

But I just wanted you all to know that, even though I don't really post here, I post a lot more on tumblr. The posting style of tumblr is just a lot easier for me to deal with and I find I spend a lot more time there than I do on lj, anyway. I've got a few (one of which I share with my friend). So I got third place in this design contest thingy with this logo. Got some recognition, something to put on my resume and $15. Funny how excited I was to get $15 as that can buy like 2 weeks' worth of food for Chris and me! :D

Speaking of being poor, our internet is going to vanish any day now and we can't afford to renew it/ it would be pointless to renew it since we're moving in January. So, soon, I will be even more scarce than I already am. I can go to campus to use their internet but that's probably not going to happen very often. So, friends that I actually talk to, if I happen to drop off the face of the internet/planet, that's most likely the reason why. Unless I've been killed by the cougar!rapist.

I'm pretty bored so I'm going to keep rambling on for a little bit. I'm nomming on some fig newtons and tea. 'S pretty good. I applied for a job again today (seems to have to developed as some sort of habit) and I'm going to try to apply for unemployment/food stamps as soon as I find out if I'm actually employed or not... stupid Donette people.... I think I'm going to bake pumpkins today and then use the guts for pumpkin curry tomorrow. Awww yeeaaah fekking love pumpkins.

Oh! Halloween was pretty good. We missed the Thriller dance downtown but getting all crazy made up and dead looking was the part I was looking forward to the most. After running to downtown and not making it in time, we walked back home in the rain, took some pictures, and watched The Thing. I didn't get many pictures on my camera because my hands were covered in sticky sugar-blood but someone else took pictures so hopefully I can get them from her.

In other news I've been applying for jobs left and right. Chris got his two weeks today and we all know that I haven't been given any work to do for about a month so we're both scrambling like crazy to get any job. I really do think things will work out in the end but it'll be really hard and stressful.

Actually I should quick messing around and go look for more jobs.

Going to make Halloween cupcakes today! Was going to do it last night but we got home from Fred Meyer and found out that we don't have eggs... I'm so excited! I rarely make cupcakes that actually have some sort of picture or design on top. I usually just slather as much frosting on top as possible. This time I will be more creative. :3

Started playing Final Fantasy : 4 Heroes of Light. I've not gotten very far into it but so far I can say that I like the style a lot and the interface is pretty nice. The battles so far have been super easy so hopefully they get a bit more difficult in the future. Haven't really gotten to know the characters well. As far as I can tell they're pretty generic. But yeah, I really haven't played much of it so I can't really give a fair assessment!

We may have found a place to live! It would be in Chris's friend's house that his dad bought for him. Apparently it has like 3 bedrooms and he lives there by himself so his dad wants to let us rent a room for any amount of time we need. I really hope this all works out. Now all I need is to find a job so Chris doesn't have to worry about paying rent himself. >.< Uuugh... EVERYONE Y U NO HIRING? JOB I HAVE Y U NO GIVE ME HOURS?

Today I feel like being completely unproductive. I just want to play video games and surf the interbutts and watch movies and bake. However I need to go to the post office and I need to call people about Craigslist stuff and look for jobs and apartments and do responsible things so that I'm not living out on the streets (or have to move back in with my parents). However it's Friday and I've been working my ass of trying to find jobs and getting in contact with people about apartments all week so I'm going to take it a little easier today. Starting off with 2 silly memes to waste time.

Day Two: Nine things about yourself.

1. In the Spring I graduated with a BA in design with a concentration in design production. All year until about March/April I had intended on going to Korea and teaching English because that's where my (then) boyfriend lives. I stupidly didn't prepare anything for a future design career because I was focusing so much on getting a job in Korea. After a lot of drama and breaking up with my (then) boyfriend, I stayed in America and I feel like I've fallen horribly behind everyone else I graduated with because I was being an idiot and not preparing for my future.

2. I have a pet rabbit, Rorschach. I have my suspicions that she is very aware of how adorable she is and uses that knowledge for evil. I felt like I had made a lot of progress with her, helping her to be less aggressive and more tolerant of being picked up... but then I had to send her to my parents' house and everything that I had done to try and help her was reversed and I got her back in a worst mental state that I had initially started with. We're trying to get her 

3. Ever since I could remember and before I even REALLY understood it completely, I have been deathly terrified of being raped. When I was an extremely young child, I wasn't afraid of monsters or ghosts or anything, I was afraid of people.

4. I love it when houses lose power during storms. The idea of using candles and flashlights, breaking out a board game and not really having any distractions from the people you are with is really fun to me.

5. I've recently realized that if I don't work out, I am noticeably a lot more depressed at the end of the day.

6. I LOVE orchestral adaptations of rock music.

7. If I am upset, it usually takes something like 10 tries of asking what's wrong before I start to let up. It's not that I don't trust people with information or anything, it's just that I hate bothering people with my problems... and I frequently don't even really know what is bothering me until I've thought about it for a while.

8. I completely don't understand it when someone dislikes something just because it's too popular or it's a trend. To me, it's the same thing as liking something because it's popular or a trend. There's gotta be more reason than that to like or dislike something.

9. I really need/want a job and I'm tired of being too poor to buy decent food.

 ... I know I didn't finish the other memes but I never finish anything (that isn't important) so why break that trend now? Anyway, this one seemed more interesting and it's shorter.

Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.

1. I love you. I know things are really difficult right now but we can get through it. I appreciate how much effort you put into everything for our future and it makes me want to work harder too. I've said pretty much all of this to you already - I love how easily I can talk to you. Everything will work out. I love you so much.

2. You seriously need to relax and grow up. I'm ashamed that I have to tell you, of all people, to grow up. Trying to trap and contain me is only going to make me want to see you less and throwing fits doesn't exactly help either. I love you and I appreciate everything you've done for me more than you'll ever know, but I can't believe some of the things you say and how you react to the smallest things. You really need to stop watching so much TV and get a hobby other than complaining about how I don't care about you, because I do.

3. I love you but I wish you would own up to your drinking problem and get help. You should probably stop smoking too. I'm probably going to have kids eventually but it's not going to be anytime soon and I know how much you want grandkids - don't miss out on them because of an addiction. I thought you wanted to live until 100.

4. You are amazing. I'm so glad we could both get past the crappy crap that happened in the spring because losing you as a friend was completely the LAST thing I ever wanted. I know I'm shitty about communication and I'm really sorry about that and what ended up happening as a result of it. But I still think of you as one of my closest friends. You're awesome and I know you're going to be so successful.

5. You are also amazing. I admire how hard you work on everything. I loved bonding over video games with you and above person. Wish we could do that again. I miss hanging out with you but I guess that's what happens after college. You're hilarious and I love your taste in music. I seriously miss hanging out with you and above person a lot.

6. You and I have been best friends for 10 glorious years. I love you so much. I know you are going to have such an amazing life because you're an amazing person. I'm excited to be your best friend for 10 more years. You know I'll always be there for you and I know you'll always be there for me - no matter what happens. I know there are scary things in your life right now but never lose sight of yourself and what you want. You are a strong person and you can get through anything. Don't let your past ruin things that are going really well for you now. The past is the past and you learn from it, just don't let it haunt you.

7. Even though we're the same age (in fact I'm a little older than you) I feel like I've learned so much from you about life and how to deal with things. You are so important to me and I'm so glad you've been in my life for almost half of it. I love your attitude towards life and things that happen - both shitty and awesome. I'm so thankful for how much you have helped me and been there for me through incredibly scary situations, a broken heart and drama with other people. You've seen me make some really stupid decisions and I'm so grateful that you've stuck with me through it all, not necessarily supporting me, but being there for me in the end nonetheless when it all goes to hell.

8. I wish you would come back to America. I miss having a big sister around. I love you so much and you're the best big sister anyone could ever ask for. I know I've played the bitchy little sister before but I'm glad that never discouraged you from always being the loving, caring person that you are. You are such a good person, you deserve someone who will make you happy and I know how much you want someone like that. You're great and I love you and I can't wait till you come home, whenever that may be.

9. You are making such a big mistake. You are way too good of a person to be taken advantage like this.

10. I haven't talked to you in months and it makes me sad. We need to finish that list of movies that we've had since years ago. I am going to call you next time I go visit my parents and we're going to watch some goddamn movies. Diana is going to come too. And we're going to drink beer. It'll be great. You better not be working.
