The Christmas present that keeps giving....

Ashley and I are sharing the give that keeps giving....influenza A

The nurse thinks Ashley  has sub-strain K - way worse. She spiked a 102.7 temp

We were trying so hard for her to get her lapscopy - but she was just too sick and we got rejected. My throat felt like glass shards - TWICE!! But then we got the nice cough syrup. And that drug that makes your heart not feel like it is going to explode when you cough.

This is the cutest gift! It is two nice, solid silver die. Each side has a type of food to eat: burgers, sushi, BBQ, etc. So when you can't decide where to go for dinner - you just roll!

Christmas!

Man, older kids are great -  Christmas = 7:38 a.m.!

Ellie got a big fuzzy blankie. Michael got ear phones. Ashley got a quilt, but we will look for something else.

Much merriment!

Had a delightful Gutter Butt - the Bullocks let us use their pool! Much enjoyed by the younger set.

The wards got split. Here is me on my last day. I went out with a glorious Joy To the World with full chimes,

Also Smith's opened (apparently largest opening in all of America). And there is nothing wrong with having seven dozen eggs (at .99 cents each!)

Starting December (and some shots from Ashley)

Romeo got groomed and is super cute again. I love how his little paws look.

Josh got an award for giving an excellent presentation at work.

Me and Ellie went to the Kpop Demon Hunters sing-a-long at the library. It was a whole big set up. There were a surprising number of grandpa's there. And they had baby sodas.

Lots, etc - Nov. Part 2

There was a rose outside on NOV 28. It smelled pretty good when I brought it in.

Ashley all snuggled up with the puppy on Thanksgiving Break.

Lots and lots and lots of stuff - November 2025 - Part 1

They ran a wire-less (but it was all wires?) around the neighborhood.
 The grass looks surprisingly good.
This is me loving backing my sweetie a lunch every day. xxooo
So SLCC also offered staff cheap hockey tickets - so I took Michael. And while we were there I remembered my dear old (like not old, but dear long-time friend and former roommate) Alisha LOVED hocket and had bought season tickets. So I texted her - SHE WAS ONE SECTION AWAY!!
So of course we meet up and talk and talk. Michael says he is OK not watching the whole thing -but we both agree the skaters were very elegant.
And then I  found out students can get $15 tickets to the ballet! And a friend too (or the ticket person just gave me a deal). So Ellie and I went to see A Midnight Summer's Dream. I did fall asleep during the first ballet - it was warm and our lunch had been super good.
A picture of Michael and Naomi.
My boys!!
These crackers are very very nummy.

Lots and lots and lots of stuff - October (Part 2)

Guess what my school has! A Wellness Center - where there is a FREE massage chair (the fancy kind that even squeezes your arms) and you can use is for 30 minutes a week!!

Here is me sending Ashley a hug.

And guess what Josh did during his 44 day furlough from the government? Painted almost the whole house! It is SOSO much brighter - and the hallways are like bright!

Guess the garden isn't done producing  yet!

Ellie graduated with her certificate! There was a ceremony and everything. Here are some of her teachers.

SLCC had some sort of deal for cheap Jazz basketball tickets. So we went (to see how we liked it)

The first 2.35 hours were pretty boring (like watching other people play video games, Josh said).

Then the last 36 second were amazing - and we won! We all decided we were not watching-professional-basketball-people. Good to know!
